THREE ARRESTED FOLLOWING AGGRAVATED ASSAULT INVESTIGATION AND NARCOTICS SEIZURE

On June 15, 2026, the Lee County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of an Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon call in the 1000 Block of Kay Street, Shady Oaks subdivision, Giddings, Texas 78942.
During the investigation, deputies located the suspect vehicle at a local business and conducted a traffic stop. Through the course of the investigation, Lee County Constable K-9 unit was deployed and alerted to the presence of narcotics within the vehicle.
A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of approximately 5.28 grams of methamphetamine, approximately 3.53 grams of Xanax, drug paraphernalia, a 9mm handgun, and nine catalytic converters believed to be unlawfully possessed.
Three individuals were arrested and charged with multiple offenses and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Laryssa Ashlee Muniz of Giddings:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, 4 Grams or More but Less Than 200 Grams. (F2)
- Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 3, Less Than 28 Grams. (MA)
- Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon. (MA)
- Unlawful Possession of Catalytic Converters. (SJF)

Juan Carlos Ramirez of Giddings:
- Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. (F2)
- Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, 4 Grams or More but Less Than 200 Grams. (F2)
- Unlawful Possession of Catalytic Converters. (SJF)

Kiev-Ry Soun of Alvin, Texas:
- Unlawful Possession of Catalytic Converters. (SJF)
