September 29, 2025
Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.
Caller reported a black panther sighting in the country club area. TP&W Game Warden was notified.
Deputies and JP4 responded to an inquest on CR 114.
Complainant on CR C requested a Deputy for a terroristic threat investigation. A Deputy forwarded information to another agency for follow-up.
Deputy assisted stranded motorists with a courtesy ride from US 77/SH 21 into Giddings.
Complainant at Shady Oaks made an animal complaint for an aggressive dog that chases youth when exiting the school bus. Deputy responded to investigate.
Sergeant conducted 68-A inspections.
Complainant reported a green Dodge speeding on Giddings St. Deputy responded to patrol the area.
Complainant reported suspicious activity at a residence in the 11000 block of US 77 North. Sergeant patrolled the area and was unable to locate any activity.
Deputy conducted foot patrol of downtown Lexington after midnight.
Deputies responded to a verbal disturbance in the 700 block of Giddings St. Parties separated, no offense.
September 30, 2025
Deputies assisted at the scene of a one vehicle crash on FM 1697.
Motorist reported a trailer hauling a generator in the ditch on SH 21 near the Yegua bridge. Deputy made contact with the trailer owner.
Deputies conducted speeding enforcement on CR 124.
Deputy and LCEMS assisted an elderly motorist with altered mental status on CR 237. The individual was transported to the sheriff's office to await family members.
Citizen reported a suspicious male subject on SH 21. Deputy located and identified the individual before providing a courtesy ride.
Citizen reported a suspicious white Ford F150 driving slowly on CR 409. Deputy patrolled the area, however the vehicle was gone upon arrival.
October 1, 2025
Deputy initiated a traffic stop on SH 21 West. A subsequent probable cause search resulted in the driver being arrested on site and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Complainant reported a suspicious person trespassing on CR 107. Deputy arrived and located the known individual, who was arrested for criminal trespass and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Deputy responded to PR 7041 to investigate a reported theft of a realtor sign.
Deputy conducted a traffic stop on SH 21 in Old Dime Box. The driver resisted arrest and another Deputy responded to assist. The individual was booked into the Lee County Jail.
Caller reported a white Ford doing burnouts and playing loud music in the 8000 block of FM 141. Deputies responded to the call after handling other matters, but the vehicle was gone upon arrival.
Deputy conducted a requested welfare check on CR 101.
October 2, 2025
Deputy responded to a crisis intervention call on FM 180. Advice given.
Deputy responded to US 290 East to assist a Trooper on a traffic stop.
Deputy conducted a follow-up investigation with San Antonio PD in regard to a stolen vehicle.
Deputy responded to a minor two vehicle crash on CR 103.
Motorist reported a group of 10 horseback riders on FM 141 and feared they would get hit due to low visibility. Deputy responded to conduct a welfare check, but the riders were no longer in the area.
Deputy responded to noise complaint in the 2300 block of CR 306. The information has been forwarded to the Precinct 3 Justice of the Peace for numerous complaints over an extended period of time.
Deputies responded to an address on CR C for a crisis intervention call.
October 3, 2025
Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.
Caller reported their elderly family member was experiencing altered mental status and was driving on US 290 East. Sheriff and Deputy located the individual and determined that she was safe. Deputy followed up with the family member that called.
Deputy checked on a suspicious vehicle parked off of CR 205. All okay.
Deputies responded to Clark Lane in regard to gunfire.
Complainant called in to speak with a Deputy in regard to theft of property from FM 141. Deputy to follow-up with the complainant when they return to Lee County.
Caller reported a foul odor emitting from a property near FM 2239/FM 448. Deputy located a deceased animal that the landowner was removing.
Deputy spoke with a complainant in regard to theft of property from PR 7016. Report taken for further investigation.
Deputy and Lexington PD Officer reported to the 1000 block of CR F in regard to suspicious activity. Units searched the property but did not locate anyone on scene.
Deputies were called out to a residence on PR 8028 for a verbal disturbance. The parties were separated and peace restored.
Caller reported a suspicious male subject on 3rd Street. Deputy and Lexington PD Officer confirmed that the individual was a salesman. No offense.
Complainant from Gary Street called to report a possible theft. Deputy attempted to make contact with the complainant with no success.
Complainant called in to report possible trespassing at their property off of CR 130. Deputies made contact with the security for the trail ride in Fayette County to ensure that no one trespassed.
Deputy assisted Giddings PD with two individuals fighting in the 100 block of W. Austin Street.
October 4, 2025
Deputy responded to remove a traffic hazard on US 77 North.
Deputies patrolled Lexington ISD Stadium for youth football games
Deputies conducted traffic control with Constable Pct. 4 at Dime Box Homecoming parade.
Caller reported a suspicious vehicle parked off of CR 412. Deputy made contact with the stranded motorist that had a flat tire.
Dispatch contact UPR in regard to the train stopped for an extended period of time on FM 141.
Deputies responded to a verbal disturbance on Willow Creek Drive. No offense, peace restored.
Fayette County Sheriff's Office requested mutual aid for a large disturbance involving weapons at a trail ride on property in Ledbetter. Sheriff and Deputies responded along with Washington County and DPS. Peace restored.
October 5, 2025
Deputy responded to CR 436 in regard to report of loud music and gunfire. Deputy patrolled the area.
Deputy responded to a one vehicle crash vs. buzzard on CR 226.
Deputies responded to a disturbance in the 2000 block of FM 2440. Parties separated, peace restored.
Complainant called in to make a theft report for a mailbox on CR 106. Report taken. Close patrols in effect.
Complainant called in to report suspicious activity on FM 141 with a vague vehicle description. The Sergeant on-duty confirmed that he was the suspicious person making a security check. We do appreciate our citizens being our eyes and ears.
For this reporting period, Lee County Deputies initiated 148 traffic enforcement stops, made 48 security checks, and responded to 20 animal/loose livestock calls.
