September 22, 2025
Deputies responded to a disturbance on Stayton Avenue for a reported domestic disturbance. One individual was arrested on site and booked into the Lee County Jail on local charges.
Deputy handled a civil matter on Turner Lane.
Deputy assisted a Trooper with a traffic stop on FM 696 that resulted in an arrest.
Deputy completed a requested welfare check at a residence on CR 217.
Investigator took a report of a sexual assault.
Deputy performed a vehicle unlock for a citizen.
Deputy and Game Warden responded to a report of shots fired from a vehicle on CR 318.
Motorist reported a reckless driver on US 290 East. Deputy located the vehicle and determined that the driver was too tired to drive - and was pulling over to rest.
September 23, 2025
Deputy responded to an address on CR 440 to meet a complainant to take a report of threats made by phone.
Deputies responded to a major crash in the 7300 block of US 77 North.
Deputies responded to a verbal disturbance on PR 7722. Peace restored - no offense.
Deputy made a traffic stop on US 290 East. After further investigation, one individual was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Deputy made a traffic stop at SH 21/FM 141. One individual was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.
September 24, 2025
Deputy assisted a citizen with a vehicle unlock.
Deputy met with a complainant to take a fraud report.
Caller report an intoxicated male in the parking lot of a convenience store in Lexington. Deputies located the individual at another local business and the subject was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.
September 25, 2025
Deputy met with a complainant at the sheriff's office to investigate a theft report.
Deputy completed a requested welfare check on CR 213.
Sergeant conducted 68-A inspections at the sheriff's office.
Deputy and VFD responded to a vehicle fire on CR 226.
Deputy met with a complainant to take information in regard to a close patrol on CR 127. Close patrol in effect.
Deputy spoke with a complainant in regard to phone harassment.
Caller reported a suspicious male subject walking on CR 208. Deputy patrolled the area, but the individual was gone upon arrival.
September 26, 2025
Deputy met with a complainant on CR 227 in regard to a dog that is killing chickens.
Deputy responded to an 18 wheeler tanker that was blocking the roadway on FM 141 in Dime Box.
Deputy responded to a crisis intervention call on CR 107.
Deputy responded to an address on FM 141 where a vehicle was locked with keys and children inside. The vehicle was unlocked and children were safe.
Deputy responded to a minor crash in the 3600 block of US 290 West.
Deputies, Bastrop County SWAT, and Texas DPS conducted a tactical narcotics operation on CR 226 near the Fayette County line.
Deputies, Bastrop County SWAT, and Texas DPS conducted a tactical narcotics operation in the 900 block of North Harris Street in Giddings.
Complainant reported gunfire in the area of CR 409/410. Deputy responded but was unable to locate.
Caller requested a welfare check on a male subject on US 290 East/CR 233. Deputy arrived and determined that the individual was under the influence of narcotics. The individual was arrested on site and booked into the Lee County Jail.
September 27, 2025
Deputy completed a requested welfare check on PR 7016.
Caller reported an individual laying on the side of SH 21 west of FM 1624. Deputy checked the area but was unable to locate.
Deputies conducted security checks at Buffalo Stadium for youth football games.
Motorist reported a male and a female standing on FM 141. Deputy patrolled the area, however the subjects were gone upon arrival.
Caller reported an abandoned vehicle on CR 127 that was blocking a driveway. A rotation wrecker service was called to remove the vehicle.
Deputy and VFD responded to several grass fires along US 77 North.
Deputy, LPD, and VFDs responded to a grass fire that was threatening a structure on FM 112.
Deputy assisted stranded motorist at SH 21/US 77.
Sheriff and Deputy gave presentation to Boy Scouts camp.
Deputy and Game Warden responded to provide mutual-aid to Fayette County Sheriff's Office.
Deputy made a traffic stop on US 290 East. One individual was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Deputies responded to a reckless driver call on US 77 North. The driver was located and was arrested on site and booked into the Lee County Jail.
September 28, 2025
Deputy completed a requested welfare check on US 77 North.
Motorist reported a hay bale in the road on US 77 North. Deputy cleared the road.
Deputy completed a requested welfare check on CR 213.
Complainant reported fence damage on CR 401. Deputy responded to investigate.
For this reporting period, Lee County Deputies initiated 149 traffic enforcement stops, made 27 security checks, and responded to 14 animal/loose livestock calls.
