September 21, 2026
School Zones patrolled.
Deputy spoke with a complainant regarding a civil matter.
Complainant reported speeding cattle trailers on CR 226.
Caller reported hearing a couple arguing at an apartment in the 9200 block N. US 77. Deputy checked the area, unable to locate.
Caller reported a subject riding a bike with no lights on FM 448. Deputy located the individual.
Deputy responded to Giddings PD to take report of a recovered missing juvenile. The juvenile was previously reported missing from Lee County.
Caller reported 18 wheelers speeding on FM 141.
Deputy responded to property off of CR 430 to take a report of a recovered missing person. The person was previously reported missing from Harris County.
Deputy responded to CR 114 on a report of illegal dumping.
Caller reported a suspicious female at CR 309/CR F. Deputies located the female and she was returned to her family.
Deputies investigated a report of cash stolen from a residence on CR 320. Active investigation.
September 22, 2026
School Zones patrolled.
Deputy responded to a theft investigation on CR 325. Complainant reported packages stolen from cattle guard. Active investigation.
Deputy completed a requested welfare check on FM 141.
Deputy conducted a follow-up investigation on CR 320.
While on security check of Nails Creek State Park, a Deputy assisted a camper with loading their boat.
Deputy responded to a one vehicle crash on FM 112.
Deputy responded to assist with a medical call on CR 106.
Deputy responded to 3200 W. SH 21 to issue a Criminal Trespass Notice.
Deputies responded to a reported disturbance in the 2500 block FM 2440.
Deputy responded to LCSO to assist DPS Trooper with supervising juveniles from a traffic stop.
September 23, 2026
School Zones patrolled.
Sergeant completed 68-A vehicle inspections.
Deputies assisted with funeral escort.
Sheriff and Deputies assisted with security drills at Giddings ISD campuses.
Sheriff and Deputies assisted with security drills at Lexington ISD campuses.
Deputies responded to another disturbance in the 2500 block of FM 2440.
Deputy assisted a motorist with a vehicle unlock at a GISD campus.
SO Burleson County reported an assault suspect speeding from a scene into Lee County. Deputies patrolled SH 21, unable to locate.
September 24, 2026
School Zones patrolled.
LCSO Criminal Investigations Division conducted a warrant service at a property on CR 217 as part of an ongoing investigation.
Deputy responded to meet a complainant on CR 326 regarding property damage to a fence.
Motorist reported a road rage incident where another motorist displayed a handgun at a stop light. Deputy searched S. US 77 but was unable to locate. The information was passed along to Fayette County.
Deputy met with a complainant in regard to fraud.
Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.
September 25, 2026
School Zones patrolled.
Captain and Deputies assisted GPD with bank alarm at 200 S. Main St. False alarm.
Deputies assisted GPD with crash at S. Main St./Hempstead St.
Deputy responded to a juvenile matter on CR 130.
Caller reported a reckless driver on SH 21. Deputy located the vehicle but did not observe any violations.
Deputies responded to a reported disturbance on CR 329.
Caller reported a female caught on camera pulling on their home door in the 5600 block of E. US 290. Sheriff responded and located the female in question and made contact with the reporting party.
September 26, 2026
Deputies conducted security checks of youth football games at GISD stadium.
Deputy responded to CR 139 to remove debris from roadway.
Deputy conducted a welfare check in the 8900 block N. US 77.
Deputy investigated a minor crash on CR 135.
Deputy assisted at the scene of a crash on E. FM 696.
Deputy conducted a vehicle unlock at GISD campus.
Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on Hester St. in Lexington. Deputy was informed of persons shooting bb guns at the tree line.
Complainant reported a male subject threatened her in the 4100 block of E. Austin St. Sergeant located the individual and conducted a traffic stop. One arrested and booked into Lee County Jail.
September 27, 2026
Deputy checked on a noise complaint on Westwood Ln.
Deputies conducted security checks at the Wendish Festival in Serbin.
Deputy responded to a civil matter on CR 324.
Caller reported a suspicious truck parked in from of their property on CR 108. Caller reported that the truck of unknown description left the area.
Sergeant located and stopped a reported reckless driver on E. US 290. The driver was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Deputy responded to a minor crash on E. US 290.
Deputy assisted a stranded motorist on SH 21 and provided a courtesy ride.
Deputies responded to a reported domestic disturbance on FM 1697.
For this reporting period, Lee County Deputies initiated 119 traffic stops, conducted 95 security checks, and handled 16 animal/loose livestock calls.
