October 6, 2025
Caller reported a deer stuck in a fence with a broken leg off of CR 216. Deputy responded to handle and Game Warden was notified.
Complainant reported illegal dumping in a creek off of CR 223 with deer carcass and household trash. Deputy responded to investigate and make report.
Deputy issued a citation to a motorist on CR 430 for passing a school bus.
Deputy issued 6 speeding citations in the Lexington ISD school zone on US 77.
Deputies responded to a reported domestic disturbance at a residence on CR 305. It was determined that the matter was verbal only. Parties separated and peace restored.
Complainant reported a hit-and-run crash in the 1700 block of FM 141. Deputy determined that a green SUV was driving south on FM 141 and crashed causing damage to a fence. The vehicle fled the scene. Investigation underway.
Deputy responded to a crisis intervention call on CR 123.
Deputy responded to a crisis intervention call on CR 127.
Deputy responded to a minor crash involving a vehicle vs. deer in the 5300 block of FM 141.
October 7, 2025
Caller reported a suspicious truck and trailer parked at the end of CR 338. Deputy responded to investigate.
Deputy assisted LCEMS with a medical call for a male subject laying in the ditch on CR 425.
Deputy responded to a theft complaint in the 4100 block of US 290 East. The Deputy made contact with the complainant and determined that a theft did not occur.
Deputy completed a welfare check on a male subject sitting under a tree in the 4200 block of SH 21.
Complainant from CR 302 reported theft of mail. Sergeant responded and reported that two males in a black Ford (2010-2015 model) were observed tearing up packages and mail before fleeing the area. Close patrol in effect.
Complainant on CR 309 reported being chased by two dogs. Deputy responded to make contact with the animal owner.
Deputy responded to the 4100 block of US 290 East to meet with a complainant in regard to theft. Deputy determined that a theft did not occur.
Sheriff, Deputies, and staff hosted National Night Out in partnership with Constable Pct. 4 and the Lincoln Volunteer Fire Department at the Lincoln Community Center.
Complainant on CR 327 West reported a suspicious male subject in a brown sedan trespassing and claiming to be with the "water company". Deputies responded to the area but the subject was gone upon arrival. Close patrol in effect.
Complainant reported an older model truck drag racing on FM 180. Close patrol in effect.
Deputy was called to a residence on CR 220 for a security check, then disregarded after it was determined the vehicle was a family member.
Deputy responded to a minor crash involving a vehicle vs. deer in the 1100 block of US 290.
Deputy checked on a suspicious vehicle in the 2300 block of N. Main St.
Deputy responded to a crash in the 3600 block of US 77 North.
October 8, 2025
Deputy responded to a two vehicle crash on US 77 North.
Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.
Deputy responded to assist Lexington PD with a suspicious person call on Gary Street.
Deputy met with individuals on PR 8002 to serve Criminal Trespass Notices.
Deputy met with individual on PR 7016 to serve a Criminal Trespass Notice.
Deputy conducted a follow-up investigation on a hit-and-run crash.
Deputy handled a crisis intervention call on FM 141.
Complainant met with a Deputy at the Sheriff's Office to make report of a violation of a protective order.
Sergeant conducted 68-A inspections at the Sheriff's Office.
Caller reported a suspicious male subject in a parking lot on CR 223. Deputy responded and met with the reporting party.
Motorist reported a large tree partially in the southbound outside lane on US 77 at Nails Creek bridge. Sergeant responded to place barricade and TXDOT notified.
October 9, 2025
Deputy conducted traffic control for a disabled tractor trailer on SH 21 in Old Dime Box.
Complainant met with a Deputy at the Sheriff's Office to report a theft of a firearm.
Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.
Caller reported a female laying in the bar ditch off of CR 118. Deputy responded to conduct a welfare check.
Livestock owner came to the Sheriff's Office to make report of an estray black cow.
Sergeant conducted 68-A inspections at the Sheriff's Office.
Deputy responded to an address on Hester Street in regard to a juvenile matter.
October 10, 2025
Deputies assisted with funeral escort from Giddings to Paige.
Sergeant responded to an address on CR C for a welfare check after a neighbor reported yelling. It was determined that children were playing and everyone was safe.
Deputies responded to assist Fire, LCEMS, and Troopers with a major two vehicle crash at SH 21/FM 2440.
Complainant met with a Deputy at the Sheriff's Office to make a fraud report.
Complainant reported a suspicious vehicle parked near 4100 SH 21 West. Deputy determined the vehicle had a flat tire and was red-tagged as abandoned.
Deputy responded to a welfare concern on CR 205. It was determined that an assault occurred in Giddings.
October 11, 2025
Deputy responded to CR 223 after a motorist reported a crash with livestock.
Caller reported than the driver of a red in color long-bed truck ran over the dog that their spouse was walking on CR 230.
Complainant reported dogs that are chasing their livestock. Deputy spoke with the caller.
Sergeant assisted with a funeral escort in Giddings.
Deputy made a traffic stop on SH 21 in Old Dime Box. The driver was issued a citation for speeding 100 miles per hour in a 60 mile per hour zone.
Deputies conducted traffic control at US 290/FM 180 for a disabled tractor trailer blocking traffic.
Deputy conducted a requested close patrol overnight on Rockdale Street.
Sergeant conducted a requested welfare check at the Blue VFD. Courtesy ride provided.
Deputies were summoned to an address on FM 180 for a domestic disturbance. One male was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.
October 12, 2025
Deputies responded to CR 410 for a requested welfare check.
Sheriff and Deputies provided security at the Sheriff's Posse Bull Riding fundraiser for flood relief.
Motorist reported a truck on CR 133 that struck their mirror when passing.
Deputy checked on a suspicious vehicle off of US 77/CR 405. The vehicle was unoccupied and appeared to have stuck a deer. Vehicle was tagged as abandoned.
For this reporting period, Lee County Deputies initiated 132 traffic enforcement stops, made 35 security checks, and responded to 26 animal/loose livestock calls.
