October 5, 2026
School Zone patrols conducted.
Deputies assisted with a funeral escort in Giddings.
Deputy responded to investigate a reported terroristic threat in the 2600 block of W. US 290.
Deputy completed a requested welfare check on PR 4308.
Deputy responded to reported suspicious activity in the 5800 block of CR 326. Reporting party believes a trespasser was scared away by their dogs. Security checks in effect.
Deputy booked an individual that surrendered on warrant at the Lee County Jail.
Deputy took a report of theft, where the reporting party believed a roommate sold their purse while she was in Jail.
October 6, 2026
School Zone patrols conducted.
Deputies assisted with funeral escort on FM 1624.
Deputy completed a requested welfare check on CR 200.
Sergeant conducted traffic stop on E. US 290. Driver cited for unsecured load and defective tires.
Deputy completed a welfare check on Westwood Lane.
Deputy responded with EMS to a crisis intervention call.
October 7, 2026
School Zone patrols conducted.
Deputy investigated a reported terroristic threat made on social media.
Deputies responded to a reported assault in the 3200 block of W. SH 21. The suspect was located and arrested, after resisting arrest. The combative suspect was booked into the Lee County Jail.
Deputy responded to a minor one vehicle collision on CR 302.
Deputy met with a complainant to investigate a fraud report.
Deputy responded to investigate a report of property damage on CR 439. Evidence was recovered from the scene where a vehicle struck a brick column.
Caller reported a scam to the Sheriff's Office. The scammer requested that the citizen go to the Dollar General and purchase gift cards, in order to receive a "prize" from Publisher Clearing House. SCAM! The citizen recognized the scam and made a report so others would be aware as well.
Sergeant conducted 68-A vehicle inspections at the Sheriff's Office.
Sergeant conducted Sex Offender Registry checks.
Caller reported a suspicious black SUV circling the area and parking in driveways on Deerwood Dr. Deputy patrolled the area.
October 8, 2026
School Zone patrols conducted.
Sergeant conducted 68-A vehicle inspections.
Deputies patrolled school bus routes.
Deputy met with complainants at the Sheriff's Office to take written statements for a case.
Sergeant conducted sex offender registry checks.
Deputy assisted a stranded motorist on W. US 290 with traffic control during a tire change.
Deputy assisted a stranded motorist on E. SH 21.
Chief Deputy responded to roadway debris on W. SH 21.
Deputy initiated a traffic stop on W. US 290. A vehicle search was conducted an narcotics were recovered. One arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Deputy assisted a stranded motorist on N. US 77/CR 114.
October 9, 2026
School Zone patrols conducted.
Deputies assisted at the scene of a traffic collision on W. FM 696.
Deputy met with a complainant in regard to a Criminal Trespass Notice.
Caller reported a vehicle driving reckless on CR 311/308. Deputy patrolled the area, unable to locate.
Deputy spoke with a complainant in regard to fraud.
Deputy contacted a complainant in regard to a crisis intervention matter.
Caller reported a mobile home being moved that is blocking traffic on CR C.
Deputy responded to CR 226 on report of an abandoned vehicle blocking the roadway. The vehicle was removed by a rotation wrecker service.
Deputy initiated a traffic stop on W. US 290. One arrested and booked into Lee County Jail on warrant.
October 10, 2026
Deputies conducted traffic enforcement.
Caller reported neighbors shooting tannerite on CR 416. The caller was concerned of the noise scaring their livestock. Deputy patrolled the area, unable to locate.
Deputy responded to a reported minor crash in the 500 block of 5th Street in Lexington.
Deputy checked on a company cleaning up sand on CR 425.
Deputies responded to a reported disturbance on CR 413.
Deputy assisted with a vehicle unlock in the 9000 block of N. US 77.
Sergeant initiated a traffic stop on W. SH 21. The driver was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Deputies assisted at the scene of a two vehicle collision in the 5000 block of FM 180.
Sergeant initiated a traffic stop on US 290. One arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Deputies conducted security checks on CR 337.
October 11, 2026
Deputies conducted traffic enforcement on SH 21.
Motorist reported a vehicle on the side of W. SH 21 with a male subject walking in the nude. Bastrop County SO confirmed that this was in their County and a Deputy was checking on the subject.
Deputy initiated a traffic stop on SH 21. A vehicle search was conducted and one was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Deputy responded to a report of a suspicious male subject on CR 324. The subject was transported by EMS.
Deputies assisted at the scene of a strucuture fire on CR 105.
For this reporting period, Lee County Deputies initiated 148 traffic stops, conducted 65 security checks, and handled 16 animal/loose livestock calls.
