October 27, 2025
Deputy conducted theft investigation from oilfield site on FM 1697. Generators and other items reported stolen.
Deputies assisted with escort for funeral service from Lincoln to Giddings.
Deputy investigated a reported assault.
Complainant met with a Deputy to file a fraud report.
Deputy and Tanglewood VFD responded to a burn ban violation on CR 351.
Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.
Sergeant conducted 68-A inspections.
Deputy took a crash report on a vehicle vs. deer on CR 309.
Deputy took another crash report on a vehicle vs. deer on SH 21.
October 28, 2025
Deputy followed up on an Estray case at Lexington Livestock Commission.
Deputies responded to a disturbance on Sherrill Lane. Peace restored - no offense.
Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.
Deputy assisted Giddings PD with an illegal dumping case.
Complainant met with a Deputy to file a fraud report.
LCSO dispatch aired to all units an FAA report of an aircraft in distress making an emergency landing at the airport. All units responded and the aircraft had landed safely.
Sergeant responded to a verbal disturbance on FM 141. No offense - courtesy ride provided.
October 29, 2025
Deputy and Giddings Fire responded to several grass fires along US 290 West.
Deputy conducted a requested welfare check on CR 117.
Deputy responded to assist at the scene of a crash on S. Rockdale Street.
Sergeant checked on a suspicious vehicle that exited from behind a closed business on E. US 290.
Deputies responded to a disturbance on Westwood Lane.
October 30, 2025
Deputy and Dime Box VFD responded to a burn ban violation on E. SH 21.
Complainant met with a Deputy to file a fraud report.
Deputy assisted another agency with a follow-up investigation on FM 112.
Complainant met with a Deputy to file a fraud report.
Deputy responded to a one vehicle crash on US 290 East.
Deputies responded to a two vehicle crash on US 290 East/CR 226.
October 31, 2025
While conducting morning school bus patrols, a Deputy struck a deer on CR 430.
Deputy responded to a crash detection alert on Turner Lane. Upon arrival the Deputy determined the matter to be a domestic disturbance after a cell phone was thrown. A male suspect fled the scene on foot, but was apprehended a short time later.
Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.
Sergeant followed up on a crisis intervention call on FM 141.
Deputies responded to assist at the scene of a crash at SH 21/FM 1624.
Deputy and Giddings Fire responded to a burn ban violation on Kay Street.
Deputy responded to a burn ban violation on CR 306.
Deputy took a report of a burglary of a vehicle on PR 4486.
Deputies patrolled county neighborhoods and trunk-or-treat events.
Deputies responded to a disturbance on Hester Street. Parties separated.
Deputies assisted Giddings PD with a pursuit on US 290 West.
November 1, 2025
Deputy responded to Kay Street to investigate a report of animal cruelty.
Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.
Deputies assisted with an escort for a funeral service in Giddings.
Deputies responded to a crisis intervention call on Westwood Lane.
November 2, 2025
Deputy completed a requested welfare check on E. SH 21.
Deputy assisted a motorist with a flat tire on E. SH 21.
Deputy checked on a suspicious male subject on FM 141. Courtesy ride provided.
Deputy and Dime Box VFD responded to a burn ban violation on FM 3403.
Deputy responded to a minor crash at US 77/FM 1624.
For this reporting period, Lee County Deputies initiated 93 traffic enforcement stops, made 70 security checks, and responded to 22 animal/loose livestock calls.
