October 13, 2025

Complainant met with a Deputy to report property damage on FM 141.

Deputy completed a requested welfare check on Sherrill Lane.

Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.

Sheriff and GVFD checked on a report of smoke in the area of US 77/CR 221.

Deputy assisted Lexington ISD with a juvenile matter.

Deputy completed a requested welfare check on Yegua Street.

Caller reported a suspicious male subject on CR 124. Deputy responded to the area, however the individual was gone upon arrival. The Deputy noted that the subject matched the description of a previously reported person who had been contacted and identified by LCSO in the recent past.

Sergeant conducted 68-A inspections.

Caller reported suspicious male subjects harassing people at a convenience store in Lincoln on SH 21. Deputies and a Trooper responded. The subjects were located and identified. Citations were issued.

Deputy completed a requested welfare check on a male subject on US 77 in Tanglewood.

Deputies assisted GPD with a fatality crash on East Austin Street.

 

October 14, 2025

Sheriff and Deputies presented at Giddings Elementary for Community Helpers Week.

Complainant reported criminal mischief at property on PR 3272. Deputy investigated and determined that an old vehicle was shot by unknown suspect/s. Investigation underway.

Deputy took a report of a dog bite on CR 411.

Deputy took a report of an assault. One male suspect was arrested on a Lee County warrant and booked into the Lee County Jail.

Deputy responded to a juvenile matter on PR 1338.

Deputy responded to an address on CR 405 in regard to fence damage. Report taken.

Deputies responded to Avenue E on a citizen's report of a black Lexus driving reckless and possibly juveniles screaming out of the vehicle. Deputies patrolled the area but the vehicle was gone upon arrival.

Caller requested Deputy for traffic control in the 8100 block of FM 141 for 18 wheeler traffic.

 

October 15, 2025

Deputy completed a requested welfare check at a residence on FM 141.

Deputies followed up on a reported assault that occurred in Dime Box.

Deputy issued a citation to a speeding motorist on SH 21 for 100 mph/70 mph zone.

Deputy stopped out with an 18 wheeler that was parked on CR 428. The driver was advised to re-locate.

Caller reported a stop sign down at US 77/CR 114. TxDOT was notified.

Deputy responded to a minor crash on FM 141 involving one vehicle vs. deer.

Caller reported a suspicious ATV on CR 302 with a male occupant parked by a pasture. The caller called back to report that the ATV had now left in an unknown direction.

Deputy patrolled TxDOT property on FM 141 after many complaints of 18 wheelers parking there.

Deputy attempted a traffic stop on US 290. The driver of the vehicle failed to yield and a pursuit ensued and ended in Washington County. One juvenile was charged with evading arrest.

 

October 16, 2025

Deputy removed two large tires from the roadway on US 77 north of Giddings city limits.

Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.

Caller reported suspicious circumstances on CR 312 after locating several buzzards around a bag with blood. Deputy located an expired raccoon within the trash.

Deputy performed a vehicle unlock on North Main Street for a child locked inside.

Caller reported a suspicious vehicle driving slowly and parking on CR 309. Deputy responded to the 4900 block however the vehicle was gone upon arrival.

 

October 17, 2025

Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.

Deputy completed a follow up investigation on a juvenile matter on FM 141. Citations issued.

Deputies responded to a reported domestic disturbance at an apartment on Westwood Lane. Two individuals were arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.

Deputies responded to assist with a major crash in the 8700 block of US 77 North.

Deputy assisted GPD with a male causing a disturbance in the 100 block of West Austin Street.

Deputy responded to a noise complaint in the 2300 block of CR 306.

Air Traffic Control contact LCSO Dispatch to report a laser pointed at an aircraft from the area of FM 696/CR 306. Deputy patrolled the area.

 

October 18, 2025

Deputies responded to a crash on W. FM 696 involving a motorcycle vs. deer.

Deputy performed a vehicle unlock in the 8700 block of US 77.

Deputies responded to a disturbance at a residence on CR 217. Deputies determined that the matter was verbal only and no offense had occurred.

Deputy and Lincoln VFD responded to a structure fire on CR 327.

Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.

Deputy met with a complainant at Lexington Police Department in regard to criminal mischief that was alleged to have occurred on N. Main Street. Information taken for LPD.

Deputies responded along with VFD's to a fire that was threatening structures in the 7400 block of FM 141.

Deputy responded to noise complaint on CR 217.

 

October 19, 2025

Deputy responded to investigate a report of animal cruelty on CR 233.

Deputy completed a requested welfare check on CR 309.

Deputy responded to a business on CR 234 in regard to two individuals trespassing. Both individuals were contacted and served with Criminal Trespass Notices.

 

For this reporting period, Lee County Deputies initiated 161 traffic enforcement stops, made 80 security checks, and responded to 17 animal/loose livestock calls.
