November 3, 2025
LCSO Deputies and Texas DPS served a narcotics search warrant on S. Grimes Street in Giddings. One male subject was arrested on site and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Deputy issued citations to drivers speeding in the Lexington ISD school zone.
Complainant reported criminal mischief on CR 218. Deputy responded to investigate a damaged mailbox.
Deputy assisted with a vehicle unlock on FM 141.
Deputy worked a crash involving one vehicle vs. hog on W. FM 696.
Deputies responded to Westwood Lane for a report of shots fired. Deputies arrived on scene to investigate but did not locate any evidence of a disturbance. Close patrols in effect.
Deputies assisted at the scene of a semi-truck/trailer crash on W. US 290 near Westwood Lane.
November 4, 2025
Deputy issued citations to drivers speeding in the Lexington ISD school zone.
Chief Deputy located lost property on county road and made arrangements to return item to the owner.
Complainant reported criminal mischief on FM 1697. Deputy responded to investigate and located vehicle parts near a damaged mailbox.
Deputy met with a complainant to take a report of harassment.
Deputy responded to a verbal disturbance on Westwood Lane.
November 5, 2025
Deputies responded to CR 145 for a medical call. It was determined that one individual received an accidental (self-inflicted) gunshot wound.
Deputies assisted Giddings PD officers with a warrant arrest at Westwood Lane.
Deputy was summoned to a business in Dime Box for a Criminal Trespass Notice.
Deputy took a report of a sexual assault. The case was forwarded to LCSO criminal investigators.
Deputy spoke with a caller in regard to a scam.
Deputy assisted a motorist with a tire change on E. US 290.
Deputies assisted Jail Staff with disruptive inmate.
November 6, 2025
Captain assisted Precinct 2 Constable with civil process in Giddings.
Caller reported a loud noise near Dime Box ISD. Deputy responded to investigate but did not locate the source.
SO Fayette County reported a stolen vehicle that was possibly headed into Lee County on FM 448. Further information developed that the suspect was involved in an aggravated assault in Fayette County. All units patrolled Lee County roads and private schools. The vehicle was later located in Fayette County.
Deputy responded to Westwood Lane on a juvenile matter.
Sergeant conducted 68-A vehicle inspections.
Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks and a subsequent follow-up investigation.
November 7, 2025
Deputy responded to a one vehicle vs. deer crash on FM 141.
Deputy conducted a vehicle unlock in Giddings.
Sergeant assisted Lexington PD officer with a reckless driver arrest.
Deputy conducted a requested welfare check on a stranded motorist on FM 112.
Deputy responded to a reported suspicious circumstance on CR A. Caller reported an unknown person with a flashlight knocking on their door. Deputy searched the area with thermal device, but was unable to locate anyone in the area. Close patrol in effect.
Deputy assisted Giddings PD officer with contacting a resident in the county.
November 8, 2025
Deputy responded to a one vehicle vs. deer crash on SH 21/CR 103.
Deputy responded to a suspicious activity report on CR 101. The caller reported a red pickup truck that drove onto their property. Close patrol in effect.
Deputy conducted a requested welfare check on CR 430.
Deputies assisted Lexington PD officer with a hit-and-run crash suspect on N. US 77.
Deputies assisted with an escort for the Buffalo youth football team, who went on to win their Super Bowl game.
Deputy assisted with a requested welfare check on CR 309.
Deputy assisted SO Williamson County with a crash on CR 468.
November 9, 2025
Deputy assisted Giddings PD with an oversized load on Austin St.
Deputies were summoned to Westwood Lane on a reported physical disturbance. One male subject was arrested at the scene and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Deputies assisted at the scene of a major crash on W. US 290 near the Fireman's Park.
Deputy assisted at the scene of a vehicle fire on CR 220.
Caller reported a suspicious male walking on FM 2239. Deputy arrived and located the individual who was provided a courtesy ride.
Deputy assisted a motorist with a tire change on CR 455.
Deputies have issued citations for burn ban violations in the county.
For this reporting period, Lee County Deputies initiated 110 traffic enforcement stops, made 58 security checks, and responded to 21 animal/loose livestock calls.
