November 24, 2025

Assault report taken from a complainant at the sheriff's office.

Disturbance reported at Westwood Lane apartments. Deputies met with the parties involved, no offense occurred.

Deputy spoke with reporting person in regard to neighbor's dogs killing chickens on Avenue C.

Burn ban violator cited on W. FM 696.

Deputies assisted Giddings police officers at a disturbance on S. Burleson St.

Sergeant conducted 68-A vehicle inspections at the sheriff's office.

Responded to a disturbance on CR 345, verbal only, parties separated.

Deputy worked single vehicle crash vs. deer on FM 696.

 

November 25, 2025

Deputy worked single vehicle crash vs. deer on SH 21.

Burn ban violator cited on CR 133.

Sheriff and Deputies assisted Giddings police officers with a disturbance on Middle School Rd. The caller reported screaming and a gunshot. Everything was determined to be okay.

Burn ban violator cited on CR B.

Deputy responded to a criminal trespass by known persons on CR 351.

Deputy responded to CR 234 to investigate an abandoned vehicle on the roadway.

Welfare check conducted on FM 141, information forwarded to another agency for follow-up.

 

November 26, 2025

Deputy took report of criminal mischief by known person in the 5000 block of FM 180.

Deputy investigated a report of criminal trespass at a property on FM 141.

Deputy completed a requested welfare check on W. SH 21.

Responded to a minor one vehicle crash on E. Austin St.

Sheriff responded to a false fire alarm at the Courthouse with the fire chief.

Citizen assist with a vehicle unlock on N. Williamson St.

 

November 27, 2025

Deputy and JP2 responded to an inquest on CR 118.

Caller reported a suspicious vehicle at a lease on FM 180. Deputy made contact and determined everything was fine.

Deputy issued a citation to a violator for running a red light at Austin/Main.

Burn ban violator cited on CR 430.

Deputy issued criminal trespass notices to two subjects who were on property belonging to another on FM 1624. One was changing his oil, while the other fished - and neither had permission to be there.

Deputy initiated a traffic stop on CR 132, a probable cause search resulted in the discovery of contraband and subsequent booking of one individual into the Lee County Jail.

Complainant reported fraud. Never give your bank information out to anyone.

Deputies responded to a disturbance on Giddings St. in Lexington. It was determined that no offense occurred.

 

November 28, 2025

Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.

Complainant spoke with a Deputy in regard to criminal mischief on W. FM 696. Report taken on unknown suspect/s drilling out locks on a gate. Close patrols in effect.

Deputy responded to a crash involving a vehicle vs. horse on FM 141.

Complainant reported property damage on FM 696, where an unknown vehicle struck their garbage bin and mailboxes. Deputy collected suspect vehicle evidence from the scene.

Deputy met with a complainant on CR 116 in regard to criminal mischief. Report taken on fence being cut, with close patrols in effect.

Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence on CR 414.

Deputy and JP responded to an inquest at a residence off of W. SH 21.

 

November 29, 2025

Responded to a one vehicle vs. deer crash on FM 141.

While on routine patrol, a Deputy assisted a lost camper at Nails Creek Park.

Deputy responded to a reported suspicious vehicle that was reported to have been circling a convenience store in Lexington. The vehicle was gone upon arrival.

Sergeant conducted 68-A vehicle inspections at the sheriff's office.

Responded to a vehicle vs. cow crash at FM 180.

 

November 30, 2025

Sergeant conducted welfare check of resident on FM 141.

Deputies assisted at the scene of a major crash in the 3000 block of N. US 77.

Deputy conducted welfare check of resident on CR 200.

Deputy responded to an address on W. SH 21 on a juvenile matter.

Sergeant worked a minor crash involving a vehicle vs. deer on FM 141.

 

For this reporting period, Lee County Deputies initiated 95 traffic enforcement stops, made 48 security checks, and responded to 14 animal/loose livestock calls.

 

 

With the holiday season upon us, we would like to remind everyone that you can call your Lee County Sheriff's Office and request security checks for your property if you are away. Our Deputies make frequent patrols as often as they are able, but as always; we count on our citizens to be our eyes and ears out in the rural areas of Lee County.
