November 10, 2025

Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.

Deputy assisted with a vehicle unlock in Giddings.

Deputies assisted with a funeral escort.

Deputy responded to a disturbance on CR 107. One male subject was arrested on site and booked into the Lee County Jail.

Deputies responded to an address on CR 214 for a civil standby.

Complainant met with a Deputy to file a report of harassment.

Deputy completed a requested welfare check of an individual on FM 141.

 

November 11, 2025

Deputy responded to a one vehicle vs. deer crash on FM 1624.

Deputies responded to a reported disturbance on CR 139.

Deputies responded to a reported disturbance on FM 180.

Sergeant conducted 68-A vehicle inspections.

 

November 12, 2025

Deputy initiated a traffic stop on E. US 290 for a moving violation. The driver of the vehicle failed to yield and a pursuit ensued by Deputies, Texas DPS, and Giddings Police. The incident concluded on W. US 290 near Hills. The Texas Rangers were summoned to investigate.

Deputy responded to a crisis intervention call.

Complainant met with a Deputy to file a fraud report.

Deputy responded to an address on FM 1624 to serve a Criminal Trespass Notice.

 

November 13, 2025

Complainant met with a Deputy to file a fraud report.

Sergeant responded to a suspicious activity call on Cherry Dr. Deputies searched the area on foot after a resident heard a noise, but didn't locate anything.

Deputies responded to a physical disturbance on Yegua Dr. One male subject was arrested on site and booked into the Lee County Jail.

Deputies assisted at the scene of a major crash in the 5800 block of N. US 77.

 

November 14, 2025

Complainant met with a Deputy to report fraud.

Deputy went out on a burn ban violation on CR E.

Deputy responded to a Criminal Trespass call in the 5600 block of E. US 290.

Caller reported people in a vehicle stealing mail from mailboxes. Deputies located the vehicle on CR 224 and determined that the involved parties had dropped off mail to a relative, and no offense was committed.

Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.

Deputy responded to a juvenile matter on Gary St.

Complainant met with a Deputy to file a report of a stolen firearm.

Deputy responded to a verbal disturbance on CR 233.

Deputies assisted with a funeral escort that was passing thru Lee County on SH 21.

Deputies handled a suspicious person call on S. Polk St. The caller reported a male subject knocking at a vacant residence at 3:30am. No one was located.

Deputies assisted Giddings police officers with a domestic disturbance on E. Calvert St.

Deputy responded to a juvenile matter on Hester St.

 

November 15, 2025

Deputy met with a complainant on Scenic View for a criminal trespass matter.

Complainant met with a Deputy to file a theft report.

Deputy responded to a burn ban violation on Hale St.

 

November 16, 2025

Deputy responded to a burn ban violation on Trailside Dr.

Deputies responded to a verbal disturbance on Westwood Lane.

Deputy responded to a vehicle vs. deer crash in the 2000 block of W. SH 21.

Deputy responded to a burn ban violation on CR 405.

Complainant met with Deputy to file a criminal mischief report on FM 141.

Deputy responded to CR 309 for a juvenile matter.

 

For this reporting period, Lee County Deputies initiated 74 traffic enforcement stops, made 53 security checks, and responded to 15 animal/loose livestock calls.
