May 26, 2025
Sergeant conducted 68-A inspections at the Sheriff's Office.
Deputy responded to a minor crash on SH 21 in Old Dime Box.
May 27, 2025
Deputy conducted warrant service at District Court. One booked into the Lee County Jail.
Deputy met with a complainant in regard to a scam. Information report taken.
Complainant reported a suspicious male subject on CR 207. A Deputy responded and located the individual who had permission to be on the property.
Deputy conducted a requested welfare check on Wells Street.
Deputy met with a complainant who wished to file a fraud report. Report taken.
Deputies responded to a fully involved structure fire on Burleson Street.
May 28, 2025
CID Sergeant took report of a sexual assault.
Sergeant responded to apartment complex on Westwood Lane on a report of a dog attacking a cat. One female was arrested on an outstanding warrant for Cruelty to Non-Livestock Animal and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Deputies responded to an assault call on CR 405. One male subject was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Caller reported a suspicious Ford truck parked on an oilfield pad on CR 114. Deputies searched the area but were unable to locate the vehicle.
May 29, 2025
Deputies assisted at the scene of a two-vehicle crash in the 4200 block of SH 21 East.
Deputy responded to an address on CR 406 to meet with an individual in regard to a reckless driving incident.
Deputy conducted a requested welfare check on CR 104.
Deputy assisted a motorist in Giddings with a vehicle unlock.
Deputy met with a complainant for a report involving the issuance of a bad check.
Motorist reported a reckless driver on SH 21. A Deputy located the vehicle and a traffic stop was made after probable cause was established. The driver was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Deputy responded to CR 440 on a report of a juvenile matter. Matter resolved.
Deputy conducted a requested welfare check on CR 440.
May 30, 2025
Deputies assisted at the scene of a one-vehicle crash on SH 21 near FM 3403.
Deputy assisted at the scene of a one-vehicle crash in the 4000 block of N. Highway 77.
Deputy assisted CPS with an investigation on CR 119.
Deputy conducted a requested welfare check on Avenue A.
May 31, 2025
Complainant reported a female trespassing on CR 208. Deputies responded to search the area, however the female was gone upon arrival.
Deputy met with a complainant to file a Criminal Trespass Notice. One subject was served.
Caller reported a suspicious male subject took off running from the caller's vehicle in the 1700 block of West Austin Street. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate. Close patrol in effect.
Deputy responded to a noise complaint on Deerwood Drive.
Deputy responded to a noise complaint on CR 306.
June 1, 2025
Sergeant conducted 68-A inspections at the Sheriff's Office.
Caller reported suspicious activity at a residence on FM 112. Deputies arrived and did not locate any vehicles or persons on scene. It was determined that the white Toyota truck left just prior to the Deputies arrival. Close patrol in effect.
Deputies and a LPD officer responded to a disturbance. The male suspect was located and booked into the Lee County Jail by LPD.
Deputy responded to a suspicious vehicle report on Bowers Avenue. The vehicle was located and the matter was resolved.
Deputies investigated a two-vehicle crash in the 5200 block of SH 21 West.
Deputies initiated 104 traffic enforcement stops, made 51 security checks, and responded to 17 animal/loose livestock calls.
