May 25, 2026

Motorist requested a welfare check on a female subject laying in the ditch off of FM 448. Deputy located and identified the female subject, who was transported to a hospital by LCEMS.

Deputy was dispatched to remove road debris on S. US 77.

Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on FM 112.

Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on Rockdale St. in Lexington.

Deputy assisted Giddings PD with a minor crash at N. Main/Independence.

Deputy assisted with a minor crash at US 77/CR 114.

Deputy responded along with Giddings Fire to a structure fire on PR 2901.

Deputy completed warrant service for a subject that surrendered at the Lee County Jail.

 

May 26, 2026

Captain took a supplemental report of a previously reported stolen firearm; which was located by the owner.

Deputy red-tagged an abandoned trailer on SH 21.

Deputy conducted a requested welfare check on FM 141.

Deputy assisted a stranded motorist with traffic control at N. US 77/Yegua Creek.

Deputy assisted a stranded motorist with a tire change at SH 21/CR 114.

Sergeant conducted 68-A vehicle inspections.

Deputy met with a reporting party on E. FM 696 in regard to found property.

Deputy met with a complainant in regard to property damage on FM 2239.

 

May 27, 2026

Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on Rockdale St. in Lexington.

Deputy initiated a traffic stop SH 21/CR 326. One arrested and booked into Lee County Jail.

Deputy assisted a citizen with a vehicle unlock on N. Williamson St. in Giddings.

 

May 28, 2026

Deputy summoned a wrecker for an abandoned vehicle on CR 405.

Deputy assisted at a minor crash vs. deer on E. US 290.

Complainant reported an older model two tone Dodge running stop signs, spinning tires, and power braking on Hester St. Deputy patrolled the area, but the vehicle was gone upon arrival.

Deputies responded to a verbal disturbance on PR 2903. Peace restored.

 

May 29, 2026

Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on FM 180.

Criminal Investigations Division took a report of a sexual assault.

Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.

Deputy responded to check on a stranded motorist on CR 424.

Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on SH 21 in Old Dime Box.

Deputies responded to assist with a major crash on W. FM 696.

Motorist reported an injured dog on W. US 290 near the Sheriff's Posse. Lieutenant checked the area but was unable to locate the animal.

Deputy assisted at the scene of a minor crash on Post Oak Dr.

Deputy assisted a motorist on SH 21 at the Burleson County line.

Sergeant conducted a follow-up investigation on a previously recovered stolen vehicle.

Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on W. FM 696/FM 619.

Caller reported noise complaint on CR 217.

Sergeant assisted Giddings PD with a traffic stop and subsequent investigation in the 1300 block of S. Main St.

 

May 30, 2026

Deputy initiated a traffic stop on W. US 290. One arrested and booked into Lee County Jail on warrant.

Deputy met with a complainant on Guy M. Bryan Ave. in regard to property damage.

Motorist reported a female on the side of W. US 290. Deputies and GPD searched to the Bastrop County line and surrounding county roads, but were unable to locate.

Complainant reported that she bought a vehicle for her brother to use. The brother brought a woman home who took the keys and the vehicle without permission. Report taken.

Deputies responded to assist with a one vehicle crash on SH 21.

Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.

Complainant spoke with a Deputy in regard to phone harassment.

Deputy assisted with a two vehicle crash on W. SH 21.

Motorist reported that there was a trailride on FM 3403 with vehicles swerving on the roadway. This was a previously permitted event, and a Deputy responded.

Dispatch received a report of a male subject fighting with females on CR 401. Deputies arrived to investigate and one male was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.

Deputy spoke with a citizen in regard to a fraud matter.

Deputy spoke with a complainant in regard to a child custody matter.

Deputy issued a citation to a violator on FM 2440 for 87/65 mph zone.

Deputy responded to the 400 block of E. Austin St. on a report of a male subject trespassing.

Deputy working off-duty security requested an additional unit for a disturbance at an event on CR 223. One arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail for Possession of Controlled Substance.

Deputy completed a requested welfare check on CR 219.

Deputy met with a citizen on CR 102 in regard to an information report.

Caller reported a male subject walking on E. US 290. Deputy patrolled the area, but was unable to locate.

Dispatch received multiple silent 911 calls from the area of Rockdale/Cherry St. in Lexington. Deputy responded and located the individual who was experiencing a medical emergency. LCEMS responded to the scene.

Deputy checked on a suspicious vehicle parked in a Lexington business parking lot after midnight. The driver was resting from a long trip, no offense.

Deputy assisted at the scene of a minor one vehicle crash in the 2200 block of S. US 77.

 

May 31, 2026

Deputy assisted a stranded motorist with traffic control at FM 141/CR 430.

Deputies assisted at the scene of a major crash on W. US 290.

Complainant reported known persons trespassing on property off of CR 214. The individuals left when the caller informed them they were calling law enforcement. Criminal trespass notices to be served if subjects return.

Sergeant initiated a traffic stop on CR 117. The vehicle was found to have a fraudulent paper tag. The vehicle was towed from the scene and the occupants were released.

Deputies assisted at the scene of a two vehicle crash at SH 21/CR 113.

Complainant reported sand on FM 141 from trucks hauling thru the area. Sergeant noted that Deputies have been patrolling and enforcing traffic code on FM 141. It was noted that the train was blocking FM 141 for an extended period of time. Patrols of FM 141 continue.

Deputy completed a requested close patrol on FM 1697 and CR 125.

Deputy met with a complainant to take a report of a previous assault.

Deputy responded to the 4200 block of FM 448 on an animal complaint. Deputy contacted all concerned parties.

Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on SH 21 & FM 141.

Complainant reported a noise disturbance on CR 306. Deputy responded and located the source. Written warning issued and the music was turned off.

Deputy spoke with a citizen in regard to found property off of CR 217.

 

For this reporting period, Lee County Deputies initiated 138 traffic enforcement stops, made 57 security checks, and responded to 15 animal/loose livestock calls.

 

We are getting to our busiest time of the year. We urge you to remain vigilant and make timely reports of suspicious activities.
