May 19, 2025

Caller reported that she got into an argument with her boyfriend and he left her. Deputy arrived and determined that she exited the vehicle on her own. Courtesy ride given.

Deputy took a report of harassment from a complainant from Westwood Lane.

Deputy conducted a requested welfare check on CR 107.

Deputy responded to a crisis intervention on Oakwood Dr.

Caller reported that Walmart delivered an unwanted package to their residence. Deputy contacted the caller and advice was given.

Deputies responded to a verbal disturbance on PR 3023.

Deputy unlocked a vehicle for a citizen in the 2000 block of E. Austin St.

 

May 20, 2025

Deputies and Sheriff responded to a major crash on Hwy 77 North near the Lee/Milam County line. The triple fatality crash investigation was worked by DPS. VFD's, Lexington PD, and Constable Pct. 3 assisted with diverting traffic.

Deputy checked welfare of a stranded motorist on FM 448 in Northrup.

Deputy responded to a minor two vehicle crash on FM 1624.

Deputy conducted a welfare check on a subject involved in a crisis intervention.

Dispatch received a report of a disturbance in the 1000 block of Shady Oaks St. Deputies arrived and the involved parties were separated to keep the peace. No offense.

 

May 21, 2025

Deputy assisted at the scene of a two vehicle crash at Hwy 77/CR 411.

Deputy investigated a report of animal cruelty on CR 439.

Deputy investigated a report of criminal mischief/deadly conduct on CR C. The complainant discovered a bullet stuck their barn. Report taken.

Motorist reported a box truck that blew a tire at Hwy 77/CR 220. Captain responded and noted that the vehicle was gone. The debris was cleared from the roadway.

Deputy responded to storage units on CR 405 to investigate a report of criminal mischief. The lock was cut by unknown suspect/s. Owner notified and security checks in effect.

Complainant reported a black Dodge driving reckless on Giddings St. Security checks in effect.

Deputies responded to the 1300 block of CR 308 on a report of males trespassing. Deputy made contact with the individuals, who received permission to fish from a person who did not have authority to grant permission. Voluntary compliance, no offense.

Deputy worked a one vehicle vs. deer crash on FM 1624.

Deputy responded to loud music complaint on FM 1624 in Lexington. Voluntary compliance.

Deputies were dispatched to an address on Sherrill Lane for a disturbance. One female was transported to an out-of-county facility to crisis intervention.

Deputy responded to an address on Gary Street to investigate a burglary of a residence. The complaint arrived home and discovered a broken window and electronic items stolen. Offense report taken for further investigation. Evidence recovered from the scene.

 

May 22, 2025

Deputy met with a complaint to take report of a scam. Unknown caller/s are contacting families of incarcerated county jail inmates and claiming their process can be expedited if payments are made to the scammer.

Deputy conducted warrant service at the Jail on a male subject that surrendered after Court.

Deputy conducted warrant service on a male subject with two outstanding warrants for burglary. Subject was booked into the Lee County Jail.

Sheriff spoke with a complainant in regard to criminal trespass at 1081 CR 425. Security checks in effect for subjects trespassing on private property.

Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement compliance checks.

Deputy conducted warrant service at a residence on CR 107. One subject booked into the Lee County Jail.

Deputy assisted at the scene of a one-vehicle non-injury crash on SH 21.

Deputies were summoned to a business on CR 235 for an alarm at 2:30 a.m. Deputies arrived and determined that a new employee had unlocked the door and set-off the burglar alarm without knowing the passcode. A subsequent search revealed that the employee was wanted out of Washington County. Male subject arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.

 

May 23, 2025

May 25, 2025

Deputy spoke with a complainant to take a report of animal cruelty that originated from a residence on CR 326.

Deputy responded to a residence on Avenue A for a crisis intervention.

Dispatch received a report of a hit-and-run crash on CR 304. The complainant was able to follow the fleeing vehicle and the updated locations were shared with responding Deputies. The suspect vehicle was stopped on FM 696 and the driver was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.

Deputy met with a complainant at Westwood Lane to take a report of terroristic threat.

 

 

Deputies initiated 66 traffic enforcement stops, made 50 security checks, and responded to 6 animal/loose livestock calls.
