May 12, 2025
Sergeant conducted 68-A inspections at the Sheriff's Office.
Deputy investigated a report of animal cruelty on CR 440.
Sergeant responded to a report of a male subject open carrying a rifle on CR 124. Determined that no offense was committed.
Investigator responded to Dime Box ISD to investigate a report of a threat. Unfounded.
May 13, 2025
Investigator met with a complainant in regard to a scam. Report taken.
Deputy responded to a disturbance in the 4300 block of FM 696. Information taken.
Deputy conducted a requested welfare check on FM 1697.
Deputy met with a Burleson County Deputy to take custody of a wanted subject out of Lee County. Inmate was booked into the Lee County Jail.
May 14, 2025
Deputy conducted a requested welfare check on FM 2440.
Deputy responded with fire departments to a structure fire on FM 141.
Deputy responded to a criminal trespass by a known person on CR 107. Report taken.
May 15, 2025
Deputy met with a complainant in regard to a scam. Report taken.
Deputies observed a male subject who they knew to be wanted out of Lee County. Male subject was placed under arrest at the Lee County Fair and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Complainant reported a suspicious vehicle parked on CR 215. Deputy responded and identified the occupants who had ran out of fuel.
May 16, 2025
Complainant met with a Deputy at the Sheriff's Office for an Assault investigation. Report taken.
Deputy conducted warrant service at the Sheriff's Office. One female booked into the Lee County Jail.
Complainant reported Criminal Trespass on CR 305. Deputy met with the reporting party and determined that a gate was left open and it was undetermined at that time if criminal trespass had occurred or not.
Deputies responded to a disturbance at an apartment complex on Westwood Lane.
Deputies responded to a noise complaint at the Fairgrounds cook off.
May 17, 2025
Deputies assisted Giddings PD with a disturbance on N. Main St.
Dispatch received four 911 hang-up calls. Deputy determined that the caller was mowing and did not intend to call from her cellphone.
Sergeant conducted 68-A inspections at the Sheriff's Office.
Deputies responded to a disturbance at a residence on CR 107.
Deputies and Giddings PD responded to a disturbance at the apartment complex on Westwood Lane. One male subject was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Deputies responded to a disturbance in the 600 block of Avenue B in Lexington. The involved parties were separated and citations issued.
Deputies located a suspicious male subject in the parking lot at the Lee County Fair. The male was determined to be intoxicated and was placed under arrest, after the subject resisted. Cocaine was located on his person, and he was booked into the Lee County Jail for Possession of Controlled Substance X2, Resisting Arrest, and Public Intoxication.
Deputies and GPD assisted at the Lee County Jail with a combative inmate.
Deputy assisted at the scene of a fire on CR 314.
Deputies responded to a noise complaint at the Fairgrounds cook off.
Deputy conducted a requested welfare check on SH 21.
May 18, 2025
Deputy conducted a requested welfare check on FM 448.
Deputy responded to a verbal disturbance on CR 203.
Deputy met with a complainant for a theft investigation on FM 2440.
Deputy assisted a stranded motorist on SH 21.
Deputies initiated 112 traffic enforcement stops, made 60 security checks, and responded to 16 animal/loose livestock calls.
