Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.
Deputy issued a citation to a violator on US 290 W for passing a school bus when loading.
Deputy met with a complainant on CR 202 in regard to a trespassing report.
Deputy assisted a motorist with a vehicle unlock on SH 21 E.
Deputy met with a complainant on Trailside Dr. in regard to a harassment report.
Deputy assisted a motorist with a vehicle unlock on E. Austin St.
Deputy conducted traffic enforcement in the LISD school zone and issued citations.
Deputy responded to a requested welfare check on PR 8006.
Deputy conducted traffic enforcement in the GISD school zone and issued citations.
Deputies responded to a reported disturbance in the 5600 block of E. Austin St.
Sergeant conducted 68-A vehicle inspections.
May 12, 2026
Deputy followed morning school bus route on US 290 W. Citation issued.
Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on SH 21.
Deputy and EMS responded to a crisis intervention call on CR 302.
Caller reported a suspicious vehicle call on CR 117. Deputy located the individual and found that there was no issue.
Deputy responded to a noise complaint on SFA Blvd. in Dime Box.
Caller reported a suspicious person in the 5500 block of FM 180. Deputy located the individual and found there was no issue.
Deputy performed a vehicle unlock for a resident in Giddings.
May 13, 2026
Deputy followed school bus route for traffic enforcement.
Deputy initiated a traffic stop on US 77 N. One subject arrested and booked into Lee County Jail.
Caller reported a male subject walking on CR 211 that appeared to have run out of fuel. Deputy searched the area, but did not locate.
Deputy responded to the 4500 block of CR 133 to investigate report of illegal dumping.
Deputy responded to a crisis intervention call on SH 21 W.
Deputy conducted traffic enforcement and issued citations in the LISD school zone.
Courtesy ride provided for a child that missed their afternoon bus in Giddings.
Deputy summoned a rotation wrecker for a vehicle parked in the roadway on CR 135.
Deputy responded to E. Austin St. to assist GPD with a crash.
Reporting party called in a suspicious person on US 290 E. Deputy searched to the Fayette County line, unable to locate.
Deputy patrolled Inge St. after a caller reported a suspicious male subject. The individual was identified.
Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on FM 180.
Deputies responded to a reported disturbance on Westwood Lane.
Deputy conducted warrant service at the LCSO on a subject that surrendered on a local warrant.
May 14, 2026
Deputy investigated a fraud report.
Deputy conducted traffic enforcement at DBISD.
Deputy conducted traffic enforcement at LISD.
Deputy assisted GPD with a hit-and-run crash that occurred on E. Austin St.
Deputies responded to CR C for a crisis intervention call.
GPD responded to a juvenile call on Lazy Oaks as deputies were busy on the previous call.
Deputies responded to assist with a medical call on CR 200.
Deputies responded to a disturbance on SH 21. One arrested and booked into Lee County Jail.
Caller reported a noise complaint on Ave. E in Lexington. Deputy responded and received voluntary compliance.
Deputies working the Lee County Fair were informed of an individual passing fake currency within the carnival. The individual was located, arrested, and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Deputies assisted SO Burleson with a disturbance that ended up on CR 117. One male subject arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Deputies assisted with a crash near PR 2906.
May 15, 2026
Sergeant was flagged down while on patrol and made aware of a suspicious vehicle on FM 141. The area was checked, but the vehicle was gone upon arrival.
Citizen requested traffic enforcement on CR 114 in Loebau in regard to gravel trucks. Deputy patrolled the area.
Deputies assisted at the scene of a crash on CR 124.
Complainant came in to the LCSO to report fraud.
Deputy took a fraud report from a resident on CR 125.
Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on SH 21. Citations issued.
Deputy assisted a stranded motorist on US 77 N with a tire change.
Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on FM 141.
Deputy assisted GPD with a reckless driver call on US 290 W.
Deputy responded to an animal complaint on Yegua Dr. in Lexington.
Deputy took a report of threats from PR 7708.
Deputies and GPD handled a disturbance call on CR 205. One combative male subject was booked into the Lee County Jail.
Deputy took report of an animal bite on FM 448.
Deputies responded to a disturbance on Yegua Dr. in Lexington. One female arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.
May 16, 2026
Deputy assisted a resident on FM 141 remove a snake from the yard.
Deputy met with a complainant at the Sheriff's Office about a scam.
Deputy checked out with an abandoned vehicle on SH 21.
Sergeant conducted sex offender compliance check.
Sergeants and Deputies responded to a disturbance on N Main Street in Lexington.
Sergeant was dispatched to CR 123 for a welfare check.
Sergeant and Deputy responded to a suspicious person at Elm Creek RV Park.
May 17, 2026
Deputy met with a complainant on FM 141 about an animal complaint.
Deputy assisted a motorist on SH 21.
Sergeant conducted 68-A vehicle inspections at the Sheriff's Office.
Sergeant checked out with a suspicious vehicle at Veteran's Park in Giddings.
Deputy assisted a motorist on US 290 at CR 200.
For this reporting period, Lee County Deputies initiated 142 traffic enforcement stops, made 80 security checks, and responded to 9 animal/loose livestock calls.
