March 31, 2025
Deputy responded to a welfare check on Hwy 77 North. A male subject was provided a courtesy ride.
Deputy met with a complainant in reference to threats. Report taken for terroristic threat.
Deputy spoke with a complainant in regard to a theft. Complainant reported he was fired and did not receive his tools. Report taken.
Sheriff assisted with traffic control on CR 131 while Pct. 1 performed road construction.
Deputies responded to apartment complex on Westwood Lane to assist Giddings VFD.
Deputy responded to a welfare check on Hwy 290 East. A male subject was provided a courtesy ride.
April 1, 2025
Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.
Complainant reported a female subject keeps showing up to his property causing problems and wanted it to be documented. Deputy made call notes for the residence on FM 180.
Motorist reported a reckless driver in Lexington that nearly hit them head-on. Deputies located the vehicle, observed a violation and a traffic stop was made. After an investigation, the driver was arrested for DWI and booked into the Lee County Jail.
April 2, 2025
Deputy took a report of a sexual assault. Case information forwarded to LCSO Criminal Investigations Division.
Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance on CR 326. Report taken.
April 3, 2025
Complainant reported a white Chevy SUV driving recklessly on CR 214. Close patrol in effect.
Deputy met with a complainant in regard to threats. Report taken.
Sergeant conducted a 68-A inspection.
Deputy assisted a stranded motorist on Hwy 290 East with a courtesy ride to a service station.
Deputies responded to a verbal disturbance at property on CR 133. Parties separated.
April 4, 2025
Deputy responded to a residence on Hwy 77 North for a juvenile matter.
Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.
Deputy took a report of theft from a complainant on CR 400. Information taken for report.
Deputies responded to Westwood Lane on a report of a verbal disturbance.
Deputies assisted with a funeral escort in Giddings.
Deputy met with a complainant to take a report of an assault.
Deputies and Dime Box VFD responded to SH 21/FM 3403 for a two-vehicle crash.
Deputy responded to investigate a one-vehicle crash at FM 141/CR 430.
Deputy responded to a disturbance at a residence on Gary Street in Lexington.
Complainant reported loud music on CR 306. Deputy responded to the area but was unable to locate the source.
Deputy initiated a traffic stop on FM 180. The driver had an outstanding local warrant and was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.
April 5, 2025
Deputy assisted DPS with a crash on CR 237.
Complainant reported loud music on CR 306. Deputy responded and located the source. Citation issued.
Deputy responded to a crisis intervention call on PR 8063.
Deputy and Pct. 3 Justice of the Peace responded to an inquest on CR F.
Deputies and GPD responded to CR 119 for a reported trail ride in progress without a county permit. The event organizer was advised to adhere with local and state laws.
Motorist report a hit-and-run minor crash on Hwy 290 East. The suspect vehicle had made it into Fayette County. Deputy took information for a crash report.
Complainants reported loud music coming from the trail ride event on CR 119. Deputies responded to the location and advised the event organizer of the noise violation. The event organizer was belligerent to the Deputy, but another member advised the volume would be lowered.
Deputies and Pct. 2 Constable assisted Lexington PD with a high-speed pursuit on CR 329, Hwy 77, and SH 21. The vehicle was stopped and the driver was arrested by LPD.
Dispatch received complaints of a tree blocking the roadway on SH 21. Deputies arrived on scene until TxDOT could remove the debris.
Deputies assisted Giddings PD with a report of shots fired in the 2100 block of Hempstead Street.
April 6, 2025
Deputy investigated a report of a one-vehicle crash with property damage on CR 105.
Deputy assisted Parks & Wildlife State Police with a traffic stop on CR 430.
Deputies responded to a disturbance in the 4100 block of E. Austin Street. Determined to be verbal only, no offense.
Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.
Deputy met with a complainant in reference to harassment. Information taken.
Deputies responded to a requested welfare check on Sherrill Lane. Deputies made contact with the individual without incident.
Deputies initiated 71 traffic enforcement stops, made 18 security checks, and responded to 18 animal/loose livestock calls.
