March 30, 2026

Deputies patrolled morning school bus routes and conducted walk-thrus of schools. This is a routine activity at all of our public and parochial schools.

Deputy responded to a reported traffic hazard on Stephen F. Austin Blvd.

Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on Rockdale St. in Lexington.

Deputies responded to a reported disturbance on Blaha Ave.

Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on FM 3403.

Deputies assisted Giddings Police with a pursuit on US 290 West.

Communications Center received a report of a travel trailer fire on PR 8026.

Deputy completed a welfare check on a pedestrian walking on US 77 North.

Deputies responded to a reported disturbance on Gary St. in Lexington.

Deputy responded to conduct a requested welfare check on SH 21.

Deputy removed roadway debris from TX 21 East.

 

March 31, 2026

Deputy responded to a crisis intervention call on PR 7012.

Caller reported a hog carcass in the roadway on CR 327.

Caller reported a wheel came off a trailer and caused property damage on US 290 East.

Deputy responded to the intersection of FM 696/Sherrill Ln. in regards to a single vehicle vs. hog collision.

Deputy investigated a theft of jewelry from FM 141.

Caller reported a suspicious white car parked off of FM 448. Deputy contacted the individual in question and determined no offense had occurred.

Deputy investigated a harassment report on TX 21 West.

Deputy completed a requested close patrol on CR 132.

Sergeant conducted 68-A inspections.

Deputy responded to a crisis intervention call on CR 233.

Deputy summoned a rotation wrecker for an abandoned vehicle that had been red-tagged off of FM 180.

Deputies and Justice of the Peace Pct. 3 responded to an inquest on CR 430.

 

April 1, 2026

Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on 5th St. in Lexington.

Deputy patrolled school bus routes on US 77 North.

Deputy SRO handled a juvenile matter at LISD.

Deputies and Constable Pct. 2 conducted traffic enforcement on N. Main and side streets around bridge construction during school lunch hour.

Deputies responded to a reported physical disturbance involving two male subjects at a residence on Kay St. One arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.

Deputy assisted Constable with civil process on CR 139.

Deputy met with a complainant in regard to the service of a criminal trespass notice.

Deputy responded to CR 406 for a traffic hazard complaint.

Deputies completed a welfare check on CR 206.

Deputy investigated a report of illegal dumping on CR 326.

Deputy assisted a stranded motorist on US 290 East with a courtesy transport.

Deputy conducted a welfare check on FM 448.

 

April 2, 2026

Deputy responded to a single vehicle collision on FM 696 West.

Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on FM 141 in Dime Box.

Deputy checked on a vehicle parked off of CR 309. Contact made with the individuals, no offense or assistance needed.

Sheriff, Command Staff, CID, and Patrol assisted Giddings Police with response to tornado reported in downtown Giddings. LCSO Star 1 drone flown to document damage to property.

Complainant reported an abandoned vehicle off of FM 696 West. Deputy determined the vehicle was entered stolen out of Georgia. The vehicle was towed for safekeeping.

Caller reported a belligerent female at a convenience store on TX 21. Deputy responded and made contact with the individual, who was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.

Deputy SRO, Lexington Police, and Constable Pct. 3 responded to a belligerent person report at LISD stadium. The individual in question was located, identified, and served with a criminal trespass notice.

Deputy spoke with a complainant in regard to a welfare concern off of CR 226.

 

April 3, 2026

Deputy and VFD responded to a burn ban violation on CR 231.

Deputy conducted traffic stop on TX 21 East. One individual was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.

Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on FM 3403.

Deputies and VFD responded to a burn ban violation on FM 180.

Communications Center received 911 alert of a crash on FM 3403. Deputy located individual whose phone fell from the vehicle, no crash.

Deputy assisted a stranded motorist with a courtesy transport on TX 21.

Deputy completed a requested welfare check on CR 405.

Deputy checked on a noise disturbance on Stewart St. in Dime Box. Contact was made with the source who complied with lowering the volume to a lawful level.

Caller report possible road hunting on CR 323. TP&W Game Warden patrolled the area.

Deputies responded to assist SO Bastrop County with a crisis intervention call on County Line Rd.

 

April 4, 2026

Deputy took a report in regard to an assault.

Deputy conducted a traffic stop on CR 426. One subject was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.

Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.

Deputy assisted at the scene of a one vehicle crash on TX 21.

Motorist reported a reckless driver at US 77 South/CR 221. Deputy made contact with the driver and determined no offense had occurred.

Deputy and Game Warden responded to report of gunfire on CR 413. Contact made with involved parties.

Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on FM 696 West.

Deputies investigated a reported threat on CR 133.

 

April 5, 2026

Deputy responded to the 3200 block of W. TX 21 in regard to a criminal trespass complaint. Close patrol conducted.

Deputy responded to a burn ban violation on CR 440.

Sergeant conducted 68-A inspections.

Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.

Deputy assisted at the scene of a two vehicle collision on TX 21.

Deputy assisted with a minor collision on TX 21 and provided a courtesy transport.

Complainant met with a Deputy to report a theft of fuel on PR 4322.

Caller reported a noise disturbance on Deerwood Dr. Deputy patrolled the area but was unable to locate music at an unlawful volume.

Deputy initiated a traffic stop at E. Austin/Johnson Ave. One arrested on scene and booked into the Lee County Jail.

 

For this reporting period, Lee County Deputies initiated 151 traffic enforcement stops, made 114 security checks, and responded to 26 animal/loose livestock calls.
