March 23, 2026
Caller reported a male subject standing next to the road on N. Rockdale Street in Lexington. Deputy was unable to locate the subject.
Sergeant was dispatched to CR 130 for a suspicious vehicle. Contact was made with occupants.
Deputy was dispatched to Giddings Street in Lexington for a disturbance.
Deputy conducted a traffic stop on Hwy 290 near CR 139. One subject was arrested and transported to the Lee County Jail.
Sergeant and Deputy were advised of a female subject going to other lots acting erratically at South Forty RV Park. Subject was advised to not go to other lots in the park.
Dispatch received a call about a disturbance on CR 139. Deputies arrested one subject and transported to the Lee County Jail.
March 24, 2026
Deputy was dispatched to CR 114 for a reckless driver. Vehicle located and no violations were observed.
Deputy assisted a motorist who ran out of gas on Hwy 77.
Deputy transported a subject from District Court to the Lee County Jail for an active warrant.
Sergeant stopped out with a disabled vehicle on Hwy 290 near PR 2906. Driver had a tow truck on the way.
Complainant reported an attempted Theft at a business on CR 234. Deputy met with the complainant.
Deputy spoke with a caller about a civil matter.
Deputy responded to CR 132 for trespassing. Subject was not on property.
March 25, 2026
Deputy checked the area on CR 316 for a suspicious person and vehicle going up to residences. Unable to locate.
Deputy spoke with a complainant about possible Theft at her property on FM 141.
Sergeant conducted Sex Offender compliance checks.
Caller wanted it documented that he was missing two cows from his property on CR 430.
Sergeant responded to a disturbance at the Lee County Judge's Office. Female subject left without incident.
Sergeant assisted Deputy with a traffic stop on Hwy 290 West. One subject was arrested and transported to the Lee County Jail.
March 26, 2026
Deputy responded to a call about a burn ban violation on Hwy 77 North.
Deputy transported subject from Probation Office to the Lee County Jail for an active warrant.
Sergeant conducted Sex Offender compliance checks.
Deputy met with a complainant at the Sheriff's Office in reference to a civil matter.
Deputy assisted the Jail with an uncompliant inmate.
Caller reported a suspicious vehicle in the area of Post Oak Drive. Deputy checked the area but was unable to locate the vehicle.
Deputy assisted DPS with a traffic stop on Hwy 290. One subject was arrested and transported to the Lee County Jail.
March 27, 2026
Dispatch received a call about a suspicious male going door to door of residences on CR 113. Deputies met with residents and identified the male subject.
Deputy met with a complainant at the Sheriff's Office for Fraud.
Sergeant took a report for a stolen license plate.
CID Lieutenant met with a complainant about stolen property.
Deputy stopped out with a truck and trailer on W. Independence Street for a motorist assist.
Sergeant spoke to a caller about an animal complaint.
Alarm company reported a residential alarm on FM 141. Deputy responded and made contact with the home owner.
Caller reported gun fire on CR 411. Deputy made contact with persons shooting.
March 28, 2026
Sergeant advised of illegal dumping on FM 141. The dumping was accidental.
Commissioner was contacted for mattresses and trash on the side of Cushing Drive in Dime Box.
Caller requested a welfare check on an individual on CR 132. Sergeant made contact with the caller.
Deputy met with a complainant on CR 200 for illegal dumping.
Sergeant met with a complainant at the Sheriff's Office in reference to possible Theft.
Deputy assisted Lexington PD with a traffic. One subject was a arrested and transported to the Lee County Jail.
Complainant reported hearing gun shots close to her residence. Deputy spoke with complainant.
March 29, 2026
Deputy responded to a minor accident on Hwy 77.
Deputy met with a complainant on CR 316 about illegal dumping.
Sergeant conducted a follow up on CR 132.
Dispatch received a noise complaint on CR 337. Deputy located the noise in the area.
Deputies assisted with a two-vehicle accident on Hwy 77 in Lexington.
Sergeant and Deputies were dispatched to a residence on CR 446 for a civil dispute. One subject was arrested and transported to the Lee County Jail.
For this reporting period, Lee County Deputies initiated 133 traffic enforcement stops, made 87 security checks, and responded to 36 animal/loose livestock calls.
