March 10, 2025
Deputies and Precinct 2 Justice of the Peace responded to an inquest at a residence on Hwy 77 South.
Deputies assisted DPS with a major crash on Hwy 290 West.
Deputies were called to Westwood Lane after 3 a.m. for a noise complaint. The caller reported a black car was honking and the headlights were flashing. Deputies contacted two individuals who were released after they were identified.
March 11, 2025
Deputy initiated a traffic stop at FM 696/CR 304. The driver was arrested for operating a vehicle on a public roadway without a driver's license or financial responsibility.
Complainant on CR 101 reported a male subject showed up and offered to black top their driveway. When the complainant refused, the male cursed and left. Deputy searched the area for a dark gray GMC, but the vehicle was gone upon arrival.
Sergeant conducted a 68-A inspection for a citizen at the sheriff's office.
Deputy initiated a traffic stop on SH 21 West. The driver was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and Possession of Marihuana.
March 12, 2025
Deputies assisted DPS with a two vehicle crash on Hwy 290 West.
Male subject surrendered himself at the Lee County on a local warrant.
Deputies responded to investigate a juvenile matter at a residence on CR 114.
Deputy conducted traffic enforcement in the construction zone on CR 124.
Sergeant conducted a sex offender compliance check.
Deputies responded to a property on FM 3403 for a theft investigation.
Deputy investigated a minor one vehicle vs. deer crash on SH 21.
March 13, 2025
Caller reported a suspicious vehicle driving on CR 204. Deputy patrolled CR 204 but was unable to locate the vehicle.
Deputies met with a complainant to investigate and report a runaway juvenile.
March 14, 2025
Caller reported a suspicious vehicle parked on their property on CR 204. Sergeant responded and a female subject was located. The female was arrested for Criminal Trespass and transported to the Lee County Jail. An emergency detention order was issued and the female was transported for treatment at an out-of-county facility.
Sergeant conducted a 68-A inspection.
Deputy initiated a traffic stop on CR 430. The driver was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance and was booked into the Lee County Jail.
Deputies assisted Giddings PD at Veteran's Park. One male subject was transported to Lee County Jail.
Deputy and Precinct 4 Constable assisted another agency with a welfare check on Blaha Avenue.
Deputy responded to FM 3403 along with fire and EMS for a two vehicle crash.
Deputy assisted a citizen with a vehicle unlock at Brookshire Bros. parking lot.
Deputy assisted at the scene of a single vehicle crash in the 2500 block of Hwy 290.
Deputy responded to report of loud music on CR 111.
March 15, 2025
Deputies assisted with a funeral escort in Dime Box.
Deputy assisted Giddings PD with warrant service.
Sergeant conducted a 68-A inspection.
Deputy responded to crash at FM 448/CR 215.
Caller reported suspicious vehicles parking on CR 306. Sergeant patrolled the area but did not locate any vehicles at the tunnel. Sergeant later identified other vehicles on CR 304.
Deputies responded to a disturbance on PR 8063. Parties were separated.
Deputy responded to the Burleson ER in Caldwell for a crisis intervention patient from Lee County.
March 16, 2025
Deputy conducted a requested welfare check on CR 107.
Sergeant conducted a 68-A inspection.
Deputy assisted a citizen with a vehicle unlock at Veteran's Park.
Deputies assisted with a crash investigation in the 4100 block of SH 21.
Deputies initiated 143 traffic enforcement stops, made 60 security checks, and responded to 25 animal/loose livestock calls.
Local schools are back in session after Spring Break. Please use caution and obey school zone speed limits and be sure to stop for school buses.
