June 29, 2026
Deputy assisted a motorist with unlocking their vehicle at CEFCO in Lexington.
Deputy responded to a business on Hwy 21 East for an alarm. Building was secure.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence on FM 141 for a verbal disturbance. A criminal trespass warning was issued.
Sergeant met with complainant on CR 104. A close patrol was placed on the property.
Deputy spoke to parties involving a civil matter.
June 30, 2026
Dispatch received a call for a welfare check at CEFCO in Lexington. All was okay.
Deputy responded to a residence on CR 138 for trespassing.
Deputy was dispatched to CR 306 for a noise complaint.
Complainant came to the Sheriff's Office to speak with a Deputy about harassment.
Deputy responded to Westwood Lane for a civil matter.
Deputies were dispatched to Giddings Street in Lexington for harassment. A criminal trespass warning was issued.
Captain, Sergeant and Deputy assisted with a two-vehicle accident on West Austin Street in Giddings.
Sergeant and Deputies responded to a disturbance on Cherry Drive in Lexington.
July 1, 2026
Deputy met with a complainant at the Sheriff's Office about theft.
Deputy met with a complainant on CR 203 about a civil matter.
Deputy was dispatched to CR 309 in reference to a runaway.
CID Lieutenant conducted a follow up on CR 405.
Deputy red tagged an abandoned vehicle on Hwy 21 near FM 3403.
Dispatch received a call about a reckless driver on Hwy 77 North just outside of Giddings. Deputy was unable to locate the vehicle.
Sergeant assisted Giddings Police Department with a civil matter on North Dallas Street.
Sergeant advised of an abandoned vehicle partially in the roadway on CR 117. Vehicle was towed.
July 2, 2026
Deputy performed traffic enforcement on FM 141 for speeders reported in the area.
Deputy assisted a citizen with a vehicle unlock.
Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 2200 block of Hwy 290 West. One subject was transported to the Lee County Jail.
Deputy assisted a motorist in the 4200 block of Hwy 21 in Dime Box.
Complainant came to the Sheriff's Office to speak with a Deputy about harassment. Deputy took a report.
Dispatch received a call about a reckless driver on Hwy 290 passing FM 180. Giddings PD stopped the vehicle and Sergeant assisted with the traffic stop.
Deputy spoke to a complainant about a civil matter.
Deputy was dispatched to Stephen F. Austin Blvd in Dime Box for a noise complaint.
July 3, 2026
Sergeant spoke with a complainant at the Sheriff's Office about trespassing and a civil matter.
Deputy assisted a motorist at Hwy 21 and Hwy 77.
Sergeant and Deputy were dispatched to CR 426 for a civil standby.
Sergeant met with a complaint at the Sheriff's Office about an assault.
Deputy conducted a welfare check on East Bowers Avenue in Dime Box.
Deputies conducted a warrant arrest on CR 205. One subject was transported to the Lee County Jail.
July 4, 2026
Deputy assisted with a vehicle unlock on West Austin Street in Giddings.
Deputies assisted with an accident on Hwy 77 North in Lexington.
Deputy assisted with traffic control for a motorist on East Austin Street in Giddings.
SO Washington County transferred a call to Dispatch about a reckless driver on Hwy 290 traveling westbound. Sergeant and Deputy located the vehicle but did not observe any traffic violations.
Reserve Deputy provided a courtesy ride to a motorist with a disabled vehicle on Hwy 290 at FM 180.
Dispatch received a call about a disturbance on Clark Lane. Sergeant, Deputy, Giddings PD and EMS responded to the call. One subject was transported to the Lee County Jail.
Giddings PD requested assistance with a welfare check on Sandridge Drive. Sergeant and Deputy assisted.
Sergeant and Deputy responded to a disturbance on FM 141. A criminal trespass warning was issued.
July 5, 2026
Deputies were dispatched to CR 201 for a vehicle vs. deer accident.
Deputy spoke with a complainant on CR 329 about criminal mischief. Report was taken.
Dispatch received a call about a reckless driver on Hwy 77 North traveling northbound into Lexington. Deputy located vehicle and observed no traffic violations.
Sergeant and Deputies assisted with an accident on Hwy 290 at Dallas Street in Giddings.
For this reporting period, Lee County Deputies initiated 107 traffic enforcement stops, made 52 security checks, and responded to 10 animal/loose livestock calls.
