June 23, 2025
Deputy completed a requested welfare check on CR 314.
Deputies responded to a crisis intervention call.
Deputy conducted an animal cruelty investigation in the 3000 block of SH 21.
Deputy conducted a fraud investigation.
June 24, 2025
Deputies assisted with a funeral escort in Dime Box.
Sergeant conducted 68-A inspections at the sheriff's office.
Deputies responded to Dime Box after receiving multiple 911 hang-up calls. The juveniles were located and advised of the consequences.
Motorist reported a suspicious female parked in a vehicle on Hwy 290 West. Deputy arrived and assisted the stranded motorist.
Complaint met with a Deputy to take a report of a sexual assault that occurred in another jurisdiction. Report completed and forwarded to the proper authority for investigation.
June 25, 2025
Deputy conducted traffic enforcement in the 1900 block of SH 21 East.
Deputy conducted traffic enforcement in the 1000 block of FM 696 West.
Motorist reported a male asleep in a dark in color pickup on the side of FM 141/CR 117. Deputy patrolled the area, however the vehicle was gone upon arrival.
Complainant reported two dogs that appeared to have been dumped off on CR C. Deputy checked the area for the animals, but was unable to locate.
Sheriff and Constable Pct. 2 assisted Giddings PD with a reported burglary on N. Manse St.
Deputy took a report of an assault that occurred in another jurisdiction and forwarded to the proper authority for investigation.
Deputy responded to a minor crash vs. livestock on CR 329.
June 26, 2025
Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on FM 141.
Deputy assisted a motorist with a vehicle unlock on Hwy 290 East.
Complainant requested a Deputy for a Criminal Trespass Notice on FM 696.
June 27, 2025
Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on CR 217 per citizen request for semi traffic.
Deputy completed a child welfare check in the 5600 block of Hwy 290 East.
Deputies responded to an address to verify the location of a previously reported missing person.
Deputies responded to a crisis intervention call on CR 122.
Deputies responded to investigate an assault that occurred on CR 226. One male arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Deputies responded to a crash in the 1700 block of SH 21.
June 28, 2025
Sergeant conducted 68-A inspections at the sheriff's office.
Deputy assisted Giddings PD with a foot pursuit on Hwy 290 West. One male suspect was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Deputy spoke with a complainant in regard to a harassment case.
Deputies and Jail Staff responded to an assault in the Lee County Jail.
Deputies responded to a disturbance call on CR 111. One male subject was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Deputies responded to a physical disturbance between two male subjects on Shady Oaks St. One male subject was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.
June 29, 2025
Complainant reported criminal mischief at a residence on CR 323. Deputy responded to investigate and make report. Close patrol in effect.
Deputy responded to a property damage report on Kay St. Information taken for a report.
Deputy searched for a reported suspicious black in color Ford Escape on CR 450.
Complainant reported a domestic disturbance on CR 302. Deputies responded to the scene and determined that the suspect was barricaded with weapons. The suspect surrendered, was placed under arrest and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Deputies initiated 131 traffic enforcement stops, made 42 security checks, and responded to 20 animal/loose livestock calls.
