June 22, 2026
Caller spoke with a Deputy in regard to trespassing.
Another caller spoke with a Deputy in regard to trespassing.
Caller requested traffic enforcement on CR 124 for speeding.
Deputies assisted Washington County SO with a crash on FM 1697.
Complainant reported property damage to a mailbox on FM 141. Parties involved will make repair.
June 23, 2026
Deputies conducted warrant service on S. Williamson St. in Giddings.
Deputy conducted warrant service on male subject that surrendered at the Lee County Jail.
Deputies responded to the 5600 block of E. US 290 for a domestic disturbance.
Deputy met with a complainant at Lexington PD in regard to a terroristic threat.
Captain conducted a motorist assist on S. US 77.
Sergeant conducted a 68-A vehicle inspection.
Deputy responded to a juvenile matter on CR 123.
June 24, 2026
Deputies assisted with a minor crash on E. US 290.
Deputies completed a requested welfare check.
Deputy issued a citation to a violator for 103/75 mph zone.
Caller spoke with a Deputy in regard to a scam call.
Deputies assisted DPS Trooper with a traffic stop on W. US 290.
June 25, 2026
Deputies responded to noise complaint in the 1000 block of SFA Blvd. in Dime Box.
Complainant spoke with a Deputy in regard to phone harassment.
Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on SH 21.
Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on N. US 77.
Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on E. US 290.
June 26, 2026
Sergeant conducted sex offender regisrty requirement checks.
Deputy completed a requested welfare check on CR 436.
Deputy completed a requested welfare check on CR 309.
Deputy met with a complainant to take a report of an unauthorized use of a vehicle.
Sergeant removed roadway debris on FM 141.
Deputy initiated a traffic stop on W. US 290. A probable cause search was conducted and the driver was released with a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Deputy responded to a report of an 18 wheeler stuck in the 1400 block of FM 696. LCEMS responded to the scene and transported the driver for treatment.
Deputy conducted a motorist assist on FM 112.
Deputy responded to a minor one vehicle vs. deer crash on FM 696.
Sergeant conducted a traffic stop on FM 141. One arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Motorist reported a truck blew a tire and continued driving on W. US 290. Deputy and Trooper located the driver.
June 27, 2026
Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.
Deputies assisted with traffic control for an oversize load escort.
Deputy assisted with a minor crash on E. US 290.
Deputies assisted GPD with an incident on N. Main St.
Motorist reported debris on FM 141. Deputy responded and removed tree limbs from roadway.
Deputies assisted GPD with traffic control at intersections during power outage.
June 28, 2026
Complainant reported a silver Nissan involved in a theft of fuel on FM 448. Report taken.
Deputy initiated a traffic stop on E. US 290. One arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance on PR 8063. One arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Sergeant conducted a 68-A vehicle inspection.
Citizen located mail on CR 204. The mail was brought to the sheriff's office for a Deputy to contact the owner.
For this reporting period, Lee County Deputies initiated 120 traffic enforcement stops, made 69 security checks, and responded to 9 animal/loose livestock calls.
As we celebrate our nation's independence this Fourth of July, let us remember the courage and sacrifice of those who secured and continue to protect our freedoms.
