June 16, 2025

Caller reported a suspicious vehicle parked on their property on CR 338. Sergeant responded to investigate and located a male subject, and after further; determined had permission to be there.

Deputies conducted traffic enforcement in the 4000 block of SH 21 East.

Complainant reported a possible burglary of a barn on CR 320. Deputy responded to investigate and determined that nothing was stolen, however items were moved around. Report taken.

Dispatcher made contact with an individual that was reported for a welfare check.

Deputy responded to a Criminal Trespass matter in the 8100 block of FM 141.

Deputy responded to a crisis intervention call on SH 21 West.

Caller reported a suspicious vehicle in the 3800 block of Hwy 77 North. Deputies arrived in the area, however the vehicle described as a white flatbed truck; was gone upon arrival.

Deputies responded to a crisis intervention call on CR 326.

Deputy responded to a minor crash investigation on CR 312.

Deputies responded to CR 309 on a juvenile matter. Two juveniles were returned.

 

June 17, 2025

Complainant reported a theft from CR 103. Deputy responded to investigate and determined the suspect broke a lease agreement for a piece of machinery. Report taken.

Deputy responded to a requested welfare check on CR 332. Deputy made contact with the property owner and determined everything was okay.

Caller reported juveniles riding a four wheeler on property off of CR 424. The caller was concerned due to helping juveniles previously on CR 424 that flipped a four wheeler in the ditch. Deputy patrolled the area but did not locate anyone. Close patrol in effect.

Sheriff and Deputies responded to the 4100 block of Hwy 290 East on a report of a missing juvenile. The juvenile was located safe and returned to family.

Deputies responded to a family disturbance in the 7400 block of FM 141. It was determined that no offense took place and parties had separated to keep the peace.

Deputies responded to a Criminal Trespass call in the 7700 block of FM 141. No offense.

Caller reported a dog in their driveway on FM 141. Deputy responded and determined the dog was reported missing. The dog was reunited with its owner.

Deputy responded to a minor one-vehicle crash on CR 143.

 

June 18, 2025

Sergeant met with a juvenile and juvenile probation on a juvenile matter at the sheriff's office.

Deputy made a traffic stop on Giddings Street in Lexington on a violation. One male suspect was found to have a warrant out of Milam County. Male arrested and booked into Lee County Jail.

Deputy responded to a crisis intervention call on CR 223.

Sergeant met with a complainant in regard to property damage that was alleged to have occurred in a parking lot.

Deputies responded to a disturbance on CR 107. Report taken.

Deputies responded to a verbal disturbance on Westwood Lane. The parties involved were identified and served with Criminal Trespass notices.

Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.

 

June 19, 2025

Deputies assisted Giddings PD with a burglary in progress call on S. Waco St.

 

June 20, 2025

Deputies responded to a crisis intervention call on CR 223. One individual was transported to an out-of-county facility for treatment.

Deputy towed an abandoned vehicle from Hwy 290 West/CR 202.

Complainant reported a theft of jewelry from a known person on CR 217. Report taken.

Deputies responded to a report of a deceased male subject in a vehicle parked on SH 21 near CR 426. Criminal Investigators and Precinct 4 Justice of the Peace responded to the scene. It was determined to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Deputy responded to Avenue E on a report of property damage. Report taken.

Complainant reported a suspicious four door sedan parked near the neighbor's property on CR C. All Deputies were out on other calls for service; and the vehicle was gone upon arrival.

While making a security check at storage unit facility on FM 696, Deputy checked on a male subject loading items after 1:00am. It was determined to be legitimate.

Deputy responded to CR 309 on a report of juvenile matter.

 

June 21, 2025

Caller reported a suspicious male subject on CR 424. Deputy arrived and identified the individual.

Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on Hwy 77 North in the Tanglewood community.

Deputy conducted a requested welfare check on Hwy 290 East.

Caller reported a missing juvenile from an address on CR E. Deputies took the information for a report and have determined that a 17 year old male left on his own. Follow up investigations continue.

Complainant reported a nude male subject laying in the roadway on CR 430. Deputy arrived and identified the male subject. Further investigation revealed methamphetamine in one of the subject's shoes. One male subject was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.

Deputy checked on an abandoned vehicle parked off of CR 306. Vehicle red-tagged.

While on patrol, a Deputy was flagged down by a male subject that was carrying duffle bags in the area of CR 226. The subject was identified and provided a courtesy ride.

Caller reported a suspicious female and a brown SUV in the 1600 block of FM 141. Deputy arrived to check the area, however the female and vehicle were gone upon arrival.

Deputy responded to a terroristic threat call on Kay St. The male was gone upon the Deputy's arrival. Deputy met with the complainant to take a report and investigate further.

Complainant reported a suspicious vehicle parked at Hwy 290/FM 180. Deputy located the vehicle and spoke with the owner who had run out of fuel.

 

June 22, 2025

Deputy conducted traffic enforcement in the 3400 block of SH 21 East.

Deputy assisted a citizen with a vehicle unlock on PR 4511.

Complainant reported a possible burglary of a vehicle on CR 305. The caller reported nothing missing, but did report suspicious male subjects in an older model Chevy pickup on CR 307. Close patrol in effect.

Deputy responded to a shoplifter report in the 8900 block of Hwy 77 North. Report taken.

 

Deputies initiated 62 traffic enforcement stops, made 46 security checks, and responded to 11 animal/loose livestock calls. 

 

We want to remind our citizens to report suspicious activity in our rural communities. A simple phone call could prevent or solve a crime. You are our eyes and ears - and we must work together to keep our piece of Texas safe and secure.
