June 15, 2026

Caller reported a suspicious box truck on CR 330. The caller advised the truck was a white Budget vehicle. Deputy checked the property where the vehicle had been, no offense located.

Complainant reported a male subject driving around Shady Oaks with a gun. All units responded. The vehicle and 3 suspects were located at a nearby convenience store. Constable K9 deployed and alerted to the presence of narcotics. Further investigation on scene resulted in three arrests on multiple charges and booked into Lee County Jail.

CID Lieutenant and Justice of the Peace Pct. 2 responded to an inquest on CR 214.

Deputy assisted at the scene of a minor one vehicle crash with fence damage in the 4200 block of N. US 77.

Deputy assisted LCEMS with a welfare check on 3rd St. in Lexington.

Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on S. US 77. Citation issued for 96/75 mph zone.

Deputies assisted at the scene of a crash SH 21/CR 400 involving one vehicle with fence damage.

Deputy assisted at the scene of a crash on CR 217 involving fence damage.

Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on E. US 290. Citation issued for 95/75 mph zone. Another issued for 96/75.

Sergeant conducted traffic enforcement on SH 21.

CID Lieutenant investigated a report of a sexual assault.

Deputies responded to a reported disturbance on Clark Ln.

 

June 16, 2026

Deputies and Justice of the Peace Pct. 3 responded to an inquest on CR 309.

Deputy issued speeding citation on E. US 290 for 100/75 mph zone.

Deputy spoke with a complainant regarding a stolen license plate.

All units responded to Fedor CR 323 on a water rescue for a driver that disregarded the road closed barricade. No injuries, one arrested and booked into Lee County Jail.

Deputy issued speeding citation on E. US 290 for 110/75 mph zone.

Deputy conducted a welfare check on a male walking on CR 217.

Deputies responded to a reported disturbance on Giddings St. in Lexington.

Deputy red-tagged an abandoned vehicle in the 4200 block of W. US 290.

 

June 17, 2026

Sergeant took a report of counterfeit 100 dollar bills passed at a store in Dime Box.

Lee County CID and Special Response Team including Constable Pct. 2; conducted narcotics operation in Giddings. Multiple arrests and charges filed, booked into Lee County Jail.

Deputy responded to a business in Dime Box for a reported criminal trespass.

Railroad reported a person fishing from the railroad bridge on FM 448. Deputy made contact with the parties and advised of criminal trespass laws.

Supect from felony illegal dumping case surrendered at the Sheriff's Office. Sergeant conducted the warrant service and booking into the Lee County Jail.

 

June 18, 2026

Deputy met with a complainant in regard to fraud. Victim reported being scammed by phone. Law Enforcement will never call you and request payment for a warrant, jury duty, citation, etc.

Deputy, Lexington PD, and Constable Pct. 3 assisted at the scene of a major crash on N. US 77.

Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on SH 21.

Complainant reported flood waters washed 21 old tires onto his property on CR 404. Deputy responded to investigate.

Deputy spoke with a complainant regarding a criminal trespass notice.

Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.

Deputies and VFD responded to several small grass fires on E. FM 696.

Deputy made a 4 a.m. close patrol of downtown Lexington.

 

June 19, 2026

Deputy took a report of a violation of protective order offense.

Deputy completed a requested welfare check on Westwood Ln.

Deputy responded to CR 107 for a crisis intervention call.

Deputy made a close patrol of downtown Dime Box.

Caller reported a suspicious vehicle at SH 21/FM 1624. Deputies located a vehicle that crashed thru a fence. The driver was arrested after an investigation and booked into Lee County Jail.

Deputies assisted at the scene of a major crash at SH 21/CR 440.

Deputies assisted at the scene of a one vehicle crash on CR 127.

Deputies responded to a crisis intervention on CR 107.

Deputy conducted a welfare check on Westwood Ln.

Deputy obtained an emergency detention order following a crisis intervention call. One transported to an out-of-county facility for treatment.

 

June 20, 2026

Deputy completed a requested welfare check on CR 413.

Complainant reported a criminal trespass on CR 107. Deputy arrived and one male arrested and booked into Lee County Jail.

One arrested during traffic stop on US 290 for out-of-county warrant and booked into Lee County Jail.

Deputy conducted a welfare check of a female pedestrian on FM 3403.

Deputies assisted at the scene of a major fatality crash on SH 21 at the Lee/Burleson County line.

Deputy assisted at the scene of a minor one vehicle crash on N. US 77.

Deputy completed a requested welfare check on CR 410.

 

June 21, 2026

Dispatch received report of stranded boat on Lake Somerville. Texas Parks & Wildlife Game Warden responded to provide assistance.

Deputy assisted a citizen with a vehicle unlock on E. Austin St.

Deputy and Justice of the Peace responded to an inquest on N. US 77.

Deputies assisted at the scene of a crash on CR 118.

Deputy stopped a scooter operator on E. Austin St. after 2:00 a.m. for driving without lights. A friend was called to get the scooter and driver home safely.

Deputy investigated a report of animal cruelty on CR 118.

Deputy responded to N. US 77 for a report of property damage. A piece of metal fell off a trailer, causing damage to another vehicle.

 

For this reporting period, Lee County Deputies initiated 133 traffic enforcement stops, made 84 security checks, and responded to 13 animal/loose livestock calls.
