June 8, 2026

Deputy issued a criminal trespass notice at a property on FM 141.

Deputy issued criminal trespass notices at property in the 4100 block of E. Austin St.

Deputy assisted citizen with vehicle unlock on N. Harris St.

Deputy handled crisis intevention call on FM 141.

Complainant reported illegal dumping at GISD on N. Main St. Sheriff and CID Captain investigated and identified the suspect, who was charged with the felony offense of illegal dumping.

Complainant reported illegal dumping on CR 117. Deputy investigated and discovered trash dumped into the creek. The suspect was identified and charged with the misdemeanor offense of illegal dumping.

 

June 9, 2026

Deputy completed welfare check on a male sitting off the road at FM 2239/CR 208.

Deputy assisted citizen with a vehicle unlock on N. Waco St.

Deputies and Jail Staff worked District Court.

Deputy conducted traffic enforcement at FM 1697/FM 141 for illegally parked trucks.

Deputy provided traffic control for a motorist assist on FM 141.

Deputies took a report of an assault on N. US 77.

Deputy took report of a calf that appeared to have been shot on CR 315. The TSCRA Special Texas Ranger was summoned to assist in the investigation.

Sergeant conducted a welfare check on a male subject on E. US 290.

Sergeant conducted 68-A vehicle inspections at the sheriff's office.

Deputies assisted at the scene of a crash on E. SH 21.

 

June 10, 2026

Deputy checked on a reported suspicious vehicle on FM 2239. The vehicle was removed by a rotation wrecker service.

Caller made an animal complaint on PR 4041 regarding a horse.

Deputy assisted citizen with vehicle unlock on E. Austin St.

Deputy assisted citizen with vehicle unlock on N. Dallas St.

Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on CR 226.

Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on Rockdale St. in Lexington.

 

June 11, 2026

Sergeant spoke with an out-of-state complainant in regard to identity theft.

Deputies responded to a disturbance on CR 114. Parties were separated to keep the peace.

Deputy assisted stranded family with traffic control on US 77.

Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on FM 141.

Chief Deputy checked on abandoned RV on CR 200.

Caller reported a suspicious vehicle off of CR 106. Deputy arrived to investigate, and found the driver changing a tire.

Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on SH 21.

Security checks done at Nails Creek Park.

Sergeant patrolling City of Lexington at 1:28 a.m. checked on suspicious activity on N. Rockdale St. No criminal activity located.

Deputy assisted at the scene of a crash on CR 201.

Deputy checked on a suspicious activity report on CR 317. The female was located and identified. No offense.

 

June 12, 2026

Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.

Deputies assisted with a minor two vehicle crash on N. US 77.

Sheriff and Deputies assisted with a funeral escort.

Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on FM 112.

Deputy completed a child welfare check on Westwood Ln.

 

June 13, 2026

Deputy responded to a minor one vehicle crash on CR 119.

Sergeant initiated a traffic stop on SH 21. The driver was arrested and booked into Lee County Jail.

Deputy met with a complainant to complete a fraud report.

Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.

 

June 14, 2026

Caller reported a water leak on S. US 77. Dispatch contacted Lee County Water.

Sergeant and Deputy assisted a stranded motorist on SH 21 with traffic control and a tire change.

Deputy took a report of fraud in the 8100 block of FM 141.

Caller reported two trucks with white and pink underglow lights racing on CR 135 at 11:16 p.m. Close patrols in effect.

Overnight patrol deputies began patrolling roadways during storm to monitor water levels and work vehicle crashes.

 

For this reporting period, Lee County Deputies initiated 128 traffic enforcement stops, made 60 security checks, and responded to 14 animal/loose livestock calls.
