June 1, 2026

Deputies assisted with a funeral escort from Giddings into Dime Box.

Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance on PR 8023. One arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.

Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on FM 141.

Deputy initiated a traffic stop on W. US 290. One arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.

 

June 2, 2026

Deputies conducted traffic enforcement on E. FM 696 and N. US 77.

Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance on CR 140. One arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.

Deputies conducted a warrant service on PR 8062. One arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.

Deputies assisted at the scene of a major crash on SH 21.

Deputy assisted a DPS Trooper with a traffic stop and subsequent vehicle search on W. US 290.

Caller reported a suspicious male pedestrian on W. US 290. Deputy arrived and made contact with the individual, who was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.

Deputy responded to a violation of protective order call on Wells Street in Lexington. One arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.

Deputy responded to a one vehicle vs. deer crash on E. US 290.

Deputy completed a warrant service in the jail lobby on a subject that surrendered on a local charge. One booked into the Lee County Jail.

 

June 3, 2026

Captain assisted Giddings PD with a vehicle that failed to yield on E. Austin St.

Complainant on CR 200 reported a theft a tools by a known person. Deputy responded to investigate.

Motorist reported complaint of the train blocking access on CR 118.

Sergeant completed a requested welfare check on FM 141.

Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on FM 141.

Deputy responded to a road hazard complaint on CR 238.

Deputy met with a complainant in regard to fraud. Report taken.

SO Bastrop conducted a warrant arrest on a male wanted out of Lee County. Deputy met with BCSO at the county line, and the individual was booked into the Lee County Jail.

Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on FM 180.

Complainant reported a suspicious vehicle on CR 446. Deputy investigated and located the owner.

Deputy responded to a one vehicle vs. deer crash on W. SH 21.

Caller reported a traffic hazard on FM 2440. BBEC responded to check the line.

Complainant report property damage on CR 323. Deputy investigated and found a vehicle window shattered. Report taken.

 

June 4, 2026

Deputy responded to a one vehicle crash involving property damage on FM 619.

Deputy completed a warrant service in the jail lobby on a subject that surrendered on a local charge. One booked into the Lee County Jail.

Deputy assisted Giddings PD with a terroristic threat report on E. Austin Street.

Deputy completed a requested welfare check on a male pedestrian on SH 21.

Caller reported a suspicious male subject wearing only underwear and sandles walking on CR 309. Lieutenant arrived and the subject resisted. Additional units arrived and the male was medically cleared prior to booking into the Lee County Jail.

 

June 5, 2026

Deputy responded to assist a stranded motorist at SH 21/CR 326.

Deputy met with a complainant in regard to harassment.

Deputy met with a complainant in regard to criminal trespass at a property on CR 127.

Deputy responded to a crisis intervention call on CR 200.

Deputy issued a citation to a violator for 91/60 mph zone on W. Austin Street.

Deputy assisted Giddings PD in locating a hit-and-run vehicle on Cefco Lane.

Deputy completed a requested welfare check on E. SH 21.

SO Burleson reported a domestic disturbance suspect driving into Lee County on SH 21. Deputy located the individual, who was turned over to BCSO.

Deputy assisted at the scene of a one vehicle crash on W. US 290.

 

June 6, 2026

Deputy responded to the 6000 block of FM 141 to investigate damage to a mailbox.

Deputy responded to a report of trespassing in the 500 block of S. Main Street in Lexington.

Deputy responded to a suspicious person call in the 4100 block of E. Austin Street. The individual was located and identified.

Caller reported vehicles gathering in a church parking lot at 11:30pm. Deputy conducted a security check.

Deputy conducted traffic control/motorist assist for an 18 wheeler with a blown-out tire on N. US 77.

Deputies responded to a crisis intervention call on SH 21.

Deputy issued a citation to a violator for 104/70 mph zone on W. US 290.

Deputy removed roadway debris on N. US 77.

Deputy assisted at the scene of a crash on FM 448/CR 213. One arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.

 

June 7, 2026

Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on E. US 290.

Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on W. FM 696.

Deputy responded to investigate a reported criminal mischief in the 700 block of N. Main Street.

Deputy assisted a stranded motorist at E. US 290/CR 233.

Caller reported a suspicious male on a bike in the 5700 block of N. US 77. Deputy responded to patrol the area, but the subject was gone upon arrival.

Caller reported a suspicious vehicle parked on FM 141 in Dime Box. Deputy located the vehicle and determined that the driver had fallen asleep while waiting for the stopped train.

Deputy cited a violator for 98/60 mph zone on W. US 290.

 

For this reporting period, Lee County Deputies initiated 77 traffic enforcement stops, made 38 security checks, and responded to 12 animal/loose livestock calls.
