July 7, 2025
CID Sergeant met with a complainant in reference to a criminal trespass warning.
Sergeant performed a 68-A vehicle inspection at the Sheriff's Office.
Complainant reported to a Deputy about a phone scam.
Deputies assisted with a one vehicle accident on Hwy 77 North in Tangelwood.
Deputy red tagged an abandoned vehicle on FM 2239.
Dispatch received a call from a complainant about phone harassment. Deputy met with complainant on Westwood Lane.
Motorist reported a male subject walking down the side of Hwy 290 near Altman Plants. The subject appeared to be stumbling and having trouble walking. Deputy checked the area but was unable to locate the subject.
Deputies responded to a call at Cefco in Lexington for a reckless driver that left the store and ran into a nearby fence. The driver was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.
Deputy was dispatched to CR 205 for several suspicious people on private property. No subjects were located on the property.
July 8, 2025
Deputy spoke with a complainant in reference to phone harassment.
Sergeant met with a complainant on Main Avenue in Lincoln about a civil matter.
Complainant reported items missing from their property on FM 3403. Deputy responded and items were located on the property in the field. Report taken.
Deputies assisted with traffic control on West Austin Street to move a stalled vehicle from the center lane of traffic.
Deputy assisted Giddings PD with a disturbance on East Houston Street.
July 9, 2025
Deputies assisted Troopers, Fire and EMS with an 18-wheeler rollover accident on Hwy 290 East.
Sheriff responded to CR 202 for a welfare check on a female subject. Unable to locate the subject.
Motorist reported hitting a deer on CR 226. Deputy responded to the accident.
Deputy was dispatched to FM 141 at Hwy 21 for a two-vehicle minor accident.
Deputies conducted a warrant service on Shady Oaks Street. Subject was booked into jail without incident.
July 10, 2025
Deputy checked out with a stalled vehicle on CR 233. Driver advised tow company was contacted.
Deputy conducted traffic stop on reckless driver on Hwy 77 North. Driver was avoiding a tree from hitting the vehicles being hauled.
Motorist reported a reckless driver on Hwy 290 traveling Eastbound. Deputy located vehicle and observed no violations.
Jail requested assistance from Deputy.
Sergeant conducted a follow up on CR 401.
Caller reported a minor accident on CR 306. Vehicle left scene but items were left behind. Commissioner was notified of items.
Dispatch received a call about a vehicle in the ditch on Hwy 290 near Altman Plants. Deputy advised the vehicle was stuck and a tow truck was on the way.
July 11, 2025
Deputies assisted Troopers, Fire and EMS with a two-vehicle accident on Hwy 21 at CR 404.
Deputy responded to CR 107 for a subject trespassing onto private property. Subject was arrested and booked into the jail.
CID Sergeant met with a complainant at the Sheriff's Office about trespassing. Information was taken for a report.
Dispatch received a call about theft on CR 226. Deputy met with complainant to take a report.
Caller reported a reckless driver on Hwy 290 East. Deputy located vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. Driver was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.
July 12, 2025
Complainant on CR 114 reported theft of gasoline. Deputy took information for report.
Deputy responded to a commercial alarm on CR 226. Contact was made with subject on site.
Deputy conducted a welfare check on a subject on PR 7016.
Sergeant, Deputies, Giddings PD and Fire assisted Harris County with an escort through Giddings.
Dispatch received a call about a suspicious vehicle on private property on CR 208. Deputy attempted to make contact with the property owner with no answer.
Complainant reported loud music on FM 619. Deputy made contact with subjects and music was turned down.
July 13, 2025
Deputies responded to CR 430 for a small child going down the county road knocking on doors. Child was located and contact was made with the parent.
Sergeant checked out on CR 430 with tires that were illegally dumped. Report taken.
Deputies assisted with a one vehicle rollover accident on Hwy 21 near CR 402.
Caller was involved in a rollover accident on Hwy 21 near CR 426. Sergeant and Deputies responded to assist.
Caller requested a welfare check on a resident on Douglass Street in Lexington. Contact made with resident.
Deputy met with a complainant in reference to child custody issues.
Sergeant and Deputies responded to a disturbance on Turner Lane.
Deputies initiated 95 traffic enforcement stops, made 53 security checks, and responded to 13 animal/loose livestock calls.
