Deputy attempted a requested welfare check on Vernon St. for an SOS crash alert. Unable to locate.
Deputy conducted a traffic stop on SH 21. One male subject arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Complainant reported criminal mischief in the 5600 block of E. US 290. Deputy responded to investigate.
Deputy assisted SO Milam Co. search for a suspicious vehicle that was in Milam headed toward Lee.
Deputy completed a requested welfare check on Westwood Ln.
Deputies responded to an establishment on CR 217 regarding a suspicious activity call.
Sergeant conducted sex offender compliance checks.
Deputy met with complainant in regard to harassment. Criminal Trespass Notice served.
July 7, 2026
Sergeant conducted sex offender compliance checks.
Deputy responded to reported gunfire in the 1500 block of S. US 77. Deputy conducted security checks to ensure no one was trespassing.
Sergeant conducted 68-A vehicle inspections.
Deputies assisted with a major crash on N. US 77.
Complainant met with a Deputy to report fraud. Report taken.
Deputy responded to a reported illegal dumping on SFA Blvd. Deputy located the furniture and notified the owner to remove and dispose properly.
July 8, 2026
Deputies assisted Giddings PD with a funeral escort.
Deputy completed a welfare check on a resident on CR 200.
Caller reported a reckless driver on FM 141. Deputy located the vehicle, conducted a traffic stop, made an arrest, and booked one into the Lee County Jail.
July 9, 2026
Deputy responded to and completed a CIT transport to an out-of-county facility for treatment.
Deputy conducted a traffic stop on Cherry St. One booked into the Lee County Jail.
Deputy responded to report of hay bale in the 4400 block of FM 448. Roadway clear.
Deputies and Trooper assisted with a hit and run crash investigation of E. US 290. One booked into the Lee County Jail.
Deputies conducted traffic enforcement on SH 21.
Deputy conducted motorist assist on FM 2239.
Deputy met with a complainant to investigate an assault.
Deputy conducted an agency assist in the 100 block of W. Austin St. One booked into the Lee County Jail.
July 10, 2026
Deputy completed a requested welfare check on a resident on Yegua St.
Deputies assisted with funeral escort in Dime Box.
Deputies were summoned to the 4400 block of SH 21 for a domestic disturbance. One male arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Sergeant conducted sex offender compliance checks.
Deputy met with a complainant to take a report of a terroristic threat.
Deputies were summoned to a residence on Cherry Dr. for a domestic disturbance. Deputies determined the matter was verbal and the parties were separating to keep the peace.
Deputy assisted a motorist at SH 21/FM 3403.
Deputy conducted a traffic stop at SH 21/CR 440. One booked into the Lee County Jail.
Deputy took a report of a missing person. The juvenile was returned to the parent.
July 11, 2026
Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on W. US 290.
Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on SH 21.
Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on E. US 290.
Deputies assisted with a funeral escort.
Deputy conducted a traffic stop at SH 21/US 77. One arrested on warrant and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Deputy responded to check on reported gunfire on CR 424. Deputy made contact with the involved parties.
Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on Rockdale St. in Lexington.
Caller reported a suspicious vehicle parked in a driveway on E. US 290. Deputy patrolled the area, but the vehicle was gone upon arrival.
Deputies assisted with a minor crash on E. SH 21.
Deputies were notified of a rolling disturbance on W. US 290. Both parties were located and separated to keep the peace.
Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on CR 124.
Deputy initiated a traffic stop on W. US 290. One male subject booked into Lee County after resisting arrest.
July 12, 2026
Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on W. US 290.
Motorist reported a traffic hazard on SH 21. TxDOT was notified.
Sergeant conducted traffic enforcement on E. US 290.
Deputy responded to a juvenile matter on Burns St.
Deputies assisted at the scene of a major crash at SH 21/CR 426.
Deputy removed an animal carcass from FM 141.
For this reporting period, Lee County Deputies initiated 120 traffic enforcement stops, made 51 security checks, and responded to 8 animal/loose livestock calls.
