July 21, 2025

Complainant came to the sheriff's office to make a report of fraud.

Complainant met with a Deputy to make a harassment report.

Deputy responded to 5600 Hwy 290 East on a requested welfare check.

Deputy responded to 3800 CR 309 on complaint of suspicious activity. Deputy searched a building for the reporting party and no one was located. The complainant suspected squatters were present.

Deputy responded to CR F for criminal mischief. Complainant reported that their fence was cut.

 

July 22, 2025

Deputy spoke with a complainant on CR F that reported suspicious activity. Complainant suspects that people are going through their vehicles during the night, but not taking valuables.

Deputy took a report of an animal bite on Sherrill Lane.

Sheriff and Deputies took information for theft of livestock on CR 205. The cattle were taken by a known person and charges are pending.

Deputy took a report of road rage on Hwy 290 East. One male subject was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail for Disorderly Conduct.

Deputy investigated and took report of burglary of a building in the 3800 block of CR 309.

 

July 23, 2025

Deputies conducted traffic enforcement in the 8200 block of FM 141 at citizen's request for speeding motorists entering Dime Box from SH 21.

Deputies conducted warrant service on CR 122. Two male suspects were located, arrested, and transported to the county line where they were relinquished to Burleson County Deputies.

 

July 24, 2025

Deputies conducted warrant service in the 4900 block of CR 309. One male suspect was located, arrested, and booked into the Lee County Jail on a burglary warrant.

Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a reckless driver in the 2900 block of SH 21. The driver was subsequently arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail for DWI.

Deputy took report of an animal bite on CR 326.

Deputy assisted at the scene of a minor crash on SH 21 involving vehicle vs. deer.

 

July 25, 2025

Deputies conducted warrant service in the 1000 block of Shady Oaks Street. One male suspect was located, arrested, and booked into the Lee County Jail on a Travis County charge.

Deputies attempted warrant service at 3803 SH 21 in Old Dime Box. The wanted suspect was not located at the scene. Search continues.

Deputy assisted a stranded motorist on Hwy 290 West with a flat tire.

Deputy assisted a stranded motorist on W. Austin Street with a vehicle unlock.

 

July 26, 2025

Convenience store clerk at 8900 block of Hwy 77 North reported two male subjects stealing from the store at 1:00am. Deputies responded, however the suspects were gone upon arrival. Report taken.

Deputies responded to a crisis intervention on Westwood Lane.

Caller reported two males fighting at a store located in the 1900 block of SH 21. A Deputy arrived and placed one male subject under arrest for assault. Male was booked into the Lee County Jail.

Caller reported two males fighting at a business on CR 217. A Deputy arrived and determined that the involved parties had left prior to arrival. Active investigation with charges pending.

 

July 27, 2025

Deputies responded to a reported disturbance involving a male and female in the 8800 block of Hwy 77 North. Deputies determined there was no offense.

Convenience store clerk from previous theft reported four suspects were back at the store committing theft at 3:00am. Deputies arrived and detained the juveniles. The matter will be handled in accordance with juvenile law - all were released to their parents from the scene.

Deputies responded to a one-vehicle crash in the 2800 block of Hwy 290 West.

Deputies responded to a disturbance in the 5700 block of CR 309. Peace restored, no offense.

Complainant met with a Deputy to take a report of a terroristic threat. Report made.

Complainant reported a suspicious male subject standing outside of an apartment in the 2300 block of FM 141. The complainant further reported the smell of marihuana. A Deputy arrived to investigate and the male suspect was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.

Complainant reported criminal mischief in the 8100 block of FM 141. Deputy responded to investigate and took further information of an alleged assault. Active investigative with charges pending.

 

Deputies initiated 154 traffic enforcement stops, made 55 security checks, and responded to 5 animal/loose livestock calls.
