July 14, 2025
Deputy conducted traffic enforcement in the 7900 block of FM 141 in Dime Box.
Deputy responded to illegal dumping report on CR 329. A brief investigation revealed that a four-legged creature has been recklessly sorting trash.
Caller reported a suspicious white sedan parked on Hwy 290 East. Sergeant patrolled the area but the vehicle was gone upon arrival.
Deputy checked on an open door during a security check on CR 234. All okay.
Deputy checked on an open door at the Lexington school at 10:30pm. All okay.
Deputies responded to an 18 wheeler fire in the 4200 block of SH 21.
July 15, 2025
While stopping on a coffee break, a citizen reported an unknown young male driver in a newer red SUV crashed into a bicycle parked in front of a convenience store in Lexington.
Deputies responded to a disturbance at a residence on CR 226. A citation for criminal mischief was issued to a male suspect.
Caller reported a suspicious white truck parked off of FM 180. Deputy found that they were broke down and a wrecker was enroute to assist.
Deputies responded to a verbal disturbance on Westwood Lane.
Caller reported a suspicious blue car with two occupants stopped on CR 116. Deputy made contact and identified the individuals.
Deputies responded to a crisis intervention on CR C. One individual was transported to an out-of-county facility for treatment.
Deputy conducted a requested welfare check on Westwood Lane.
July 16, 2025
Sergeant conducted 68-A vehicle inspections.
Deputy responded to CR F in regard to a suspicious male subject. Deputy identified and determined that the individual lives in the area.
Deputy performed a vehicle unlock for a citizen on N. Burleson St.
July 17, 2025
Deputy conducted a requested welfare check after 1:00am in Lexington. All okay.
Deputies, Pct. 2 Constable, and Brenham PD executed a search and arrest warrant in the 300 block of E. Austin St. in Giddings. One male subject arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Deputies and Bastrop County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant in Bastrop County.
Deputies executed a search warrant in the 300 block of W. Cuero St. in Giddings.
Caller reported a suspicious white van on CR 311 near CR 308. Deputy patrolled the area but did locate the van or any trash dumped.
Deputy responded to a hit-and-run crash in the 8800 block of Hwy 77 North.
Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.
July 18, 2025
Deputy responded to a crisis intervention on CR F.
Deputies responded to a roadside disturbance in the 2600 block of Hwy 290 East. Deputies determined the matter was verbal only and the parties separated.
Caller reported a vehicle was locked in a fenced storage yard. The owner requested a Deputy's assistance. The Deputy pulled up to the gate and it opened for the individual to leave.
Deputy conducted a traffic stop and arrested a motorist for reckless driving on Hwy 77 in Tanglewood. 170 miles per hour. Yes, you read that right.
Deputies patrolled CR 119 during the trail ride.
July 19, 2025
Deputy responded to a suspicious person call at 1:45am after a citizen reported a male subject with glasses and gray hair knocked and asked for someone; then drove off in a truck.
Deputies responded to a one-vehicle crash on FM 2239.
Deputies and Justice of the Peace Pct. 3 responded to an inquest.
Sheriff and Deputies patrolled the trail ride on CR 119.
Sheriff and Chief Deputy checked on a large dance in Dime Box.
Deputy responded to a disturbance on CR 209. Deputies determined the matter was verbal only and the peace was restored.
July 20, 2025
Deputies responded to the 2600 block of CR 430 on a report of a disturbance involving a weapon. Upon arrival Deputies determined that a male suspect stabbed a female relative with a knife. The male suspect was arrested without incident and EMS was summoned for the victim. The suspect was booked into the Lee County Jail for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
Deputies responded to a crisis intervention called in the 5600 block of Hwy 290 East.
Deputies responded to a motorcycle crash on CR 305.
Deputies initiated 117 traffic enforcement stops, made 49 security checks, and responded to 11 animal/loose livestock calls.
