January 5, 2026
Deputy assisted a motorist with a vehicle unlock on E. Austin St.
Deputy and EMS conducted a welfare check on Terrace Dr.
Deputy conducted a welfare check on FM 141.
Traffic stop and subsequent probable cause search conducted on SH 21 resulting in recovery of stolen vehicle and narcotics. Two booked into Lee County Jail.
Deputy conducted a welfare check on E. SH 21
Deputy met with a parent in regard to a juvenile matter.
Deputy assisted with fire scene on CR 107.
Caller reported noise complaint in the 4100 block of E. Austin St. Deputy located and warned the source of the loud music. Voluntary compliance.
Deputy conducted a welfare check in the 5600 block of E. US 290.
Deputy spoke with a Washington Co. Deputy in regard to an abandoned vehicle as part of a welfare check.
January 6, 2026
Motorist reported a suspicious person in the 4200 block of SH 21. Deputy located and identified the individual and provided a courtesy ride.
Deputies and Jail Staff worked District Court.
Deputy assisted a stranded motorist on E. US 290.
Investigators executed a search warrant at the sheriff's office on a stolen vehicle and conducted follow-up investigation on previous case.
Deputy spoke with a complainant in regard to fraud.
Deputy responded to a residence in the 2000 block of FM 141 to investigate a burglary. Active investigation underway.
Deputy responded to a reckless driver call at N. US 77/SH 21. The party was identified.
Deputy spoke with another complainant in regard to fraud.
School Resource Deputy issued speeding citations to violators in the LISD school zones.
Deputy conducted a welfare check on SFA Blvd. in Dime Box.
Deputy conducted a welfare check on CR 405.
Caller reported gunfire in the area of Ave. F in Lexington. Deputies patrolled the area but were unable to locate.
Deputy checked on a vehicle with an open door on Hester St. All okay.
Caller reported a suspicious on Holcombe Dr. Deputy located and identified the individual who had a flat tire and was awaiting a service repair.
Deputy issued a citation to a speeding violator on SH 21 for 98/70 mph zone.
January 7, 2026
DPS Trooper was sent out to a minor one vehicle crash at FM 448/FM 2239.
Deputy removed roadway debris on FM 3403.
Deputies and LPD assisted at the scene of a major crash involving multiple vehicles on US 77/SH 21.
Deputy checked on an abandoned vehicle on CR 203. Vehicle was tagged as abandoned after the Deputy could not make contact with the owner down the road.
Deputy assisted Pct. 2 Constable with service of civil process on Westwood Ln.
Deputy executed a warrant of arrest at the sheriff's office.
Deputy patrolled CR 133 on a report of a suspicious maroon Buick that was going door-to-door soliciting.
Deputy investigated a report of criminal trespass on FM 141.
Deputy assisted a stranded motorist on SH 21.
State Park Police requested Deputy assistance at Newman's Bottom. Deputies assisted by searching with their thermal devices but did not locate anyone.
January 8, 2026
Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on W. FM 696 and issued citations to violators.
Caller reported a male subject knocking on the windows of a residence on CR 405. Deputy arrived and made contact with the male subject who was identified as a process server. Advice given.
Deputy conducted a welfare check on a motorist on E. SH 21.
Deputy took a theft report from a complainant on CR 216. It was determined that an item was stolen/missing from the mail.
Deputy responded to report of road debris on FM 141. TXDOT was summoned to remove sand from the roadway.
Deputy conducted traffic enforcement per citizen request on US 77 in Tanglewood. Citations issued to violators.
Deputy checked on a pedestrian on FM 696 and provided a courtesy ride.
Deputies responded to a verbal disturbance in the 5600 block of E. US 290. Parties separated-peace restored.
Deputy responded to a crisis intervention call on CR 201.
January 9, 2026
Deputy spoke with a caller that wished to report a minor crash vs. deer on CR 401.
Sergeant conducted 68-A inspections at the sheriff's office.
Deputy conducted a welfare check on CR 116.
Deputy responded to a minor one vehicle crash on FM 696.
Deputy responded to a minor one vehicle crash on FM 112.
Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.
Deputy checked on a reported suspicious male subject at CR 316/FM 112.
Deputy responded to a crisis intervention on CR F.
January 10, 2026
Deputy responded to a report of an injured deer on FM 1624.
Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on SH 21.
Sergeant conducted 68-A inspections at the sheriff's office.
Deputies assisted GPD with a funeral escort.
Deputies were summoned to a disturbance on CR 111. The parties were separated.
Deputy met with parties on CR 309 in reference to an animal complaint.
Deputy assisted a stranded motorist on CR 453.
Deputies responded to N. US 77 to investigate a report of an aggravated assault. Active investigation underway.
January 11, 2026
Deputy assisted a motorist with a vehicle unlock on N. Williamson St.
Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance at an apartment on Westwood Ln. One male subject was arrested on site and booked into the Lee County Jail for Assault Family Violence and Resisting Arrest.
Deputy took a report of a dog bite on Inge St.
Deputy conducted a welfare check on CR 414.
For this reporting period, Lee County Deputies initiated 139 traffic enforcement stops, made 135 security checks, and responded to 22 animal/loose livestock calls.
Our schools are back in session, please be cautious of school zones and buses that are loading/unloading our children. School violation = citation.
