Jan 27, 2025
Deputy responded to Westwood Lane to investigate a report of property damage. Vehicle caused damage to a building.
Deputy met with a complainant at the sheriff's office to investigate an assault.
Deputies responded to Giddings Plaza on a report of a male subject trespassing and threatening employees. Deputies arrested the individual, who was transported to the Lee County Jail.
Deputy initiated a traffic stop on Hwy 290 East. The driver was arrested after a vehicle search and was transported to the Lee County Jail.
Deputy and Constable Pct. 2 assisted citizen with vehicle unlock on Edgewood Avenue.
Jan 28, 2025
Deputy provided traffic control for a disabled oversized load on FM 2440.
Deputies responded to a residence on CR 433 for a domestic disturbance. LCEMS was summoned to the scene for the victim, and the suspect was arrested and transported to the Lee County Jail.
Sergeant and LPD responded to an address on CR 405 for a crisis intervention. One juvenile was transported by LCSO for treatment at an out-of-county facility.
Deputy located an open door at Dime Box ISD at 1:00am. Deputy identified a male subject that was contracted by the school district to perform work. School admin were notified.

Deputy provided traffic control for a disabled vehicle on SH 21 until a wrecker arrived.
Deputy responded to North County Line Road on a report of a suspicious blue Honda that was stopping at mailboxes.
Deputy conducted a requested welfare check at a residence on CR 432.
Jan 30, 2025
Deputies met with parties in regard to child custody matter.
Male subject surrendered himself on an outstanding warrant at the sheriff's office. Deputy booked the individual into the Lee County Jail.
Deputy made a traffic stop in the 2400 block of East Austin Street. Driver was issued a citation for failing to yield for a school bus.
Deputy responded to a motorist assist on FM 696 where a semi-truck/trailer was broken down.
Deputy took an animal cruelty report at property on CR 314. After the investigation, a cowboy was summoned to take possession of livestock.
Deputy responded to CR 410 for a suspicious circumstances call. No criminal activity found.
Deputy spoke with a complainant on CR A in regard to a criminal trespass.
Caller reported a white male in a tan or gray Chevy dropped off a dog at the creek bridge on CR 316. Deputy responded to investigate.
Jan 31, 2025
Deputy check on and assisted a reported stranded motorist on CR 320 who ran out of fuel.
Deputies assisted with a funeral escort in Giddings.
Sergeant conducted a VTR-68A inspection.
Sergeant assisted with traffic control at a crash scene on Hwy 290 just inside Bastrop County.
Deputy conducted a requested welfare check at a residence on CR 127.
Deputy conducted a requested welfare check of a male walking on CR 405. Courtesy ride given.
Deputy responded to a requested welfare check on CR 337.
Deputy located a reckless driver on CR 114. The driver was cited and released.
Deputy made a traffic stop at Hwy 77/CR 135. The driver was arrested subsequent to a DWI investigation and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Feb 1, 2025
Deputies assisted at the Lee County Jail with a disruptive inmate.
Deputy responded to a loud music complaint on CR 111.
Sergeant conducted a traffic stop at FM 696/FM 619. The driver was arrested for possession of marihuana and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Deputy responded to assist GPD with a crisis intervention call on E. Austin Street.
Feb 2, 2025
Deputy spoke with a party in regard to a minor crash in the apartment parking lot on Westwood Lane.
Sheriff's Office assisted with funeral escort into Giddings.
Deputies responded to the Blue VFD on a reported suspicious vehicle. The caller advised the driver of a red Ford pickup truck was acting suspicious. The vehicle was gone upon the deputy arrival.
While patrolling Hwy 77 North at approx. 10:00pm, a Deputy observed a road rage/reckless driving incident, with the driver speeding in excess of 100 miles per hour. A traffic stop was made a citations were issued to the driver.
Caller reported suspicious activity at a residence on Hale Street. A Deputy made contact with the individuals at the residence.
Deputies initiated 100 traffic enforcement stops, made 86 security checks, and responded to 9 animal/loose livestock calls.
