January 26, 2026

Deputy and Pct. 2 Constable responded to a medical assist call on CR 205. Entry was made into a home for LCEMS to assist a patient.

Deputy responded to a juvenile matter on W. Austin St.

Noise complaint reported on CR 306. Deputy met with the source and voluntary compliance was achieved.

Deputy conducted a requested welfare check in the 3000 block of W. SH 21.

Deputy assisted at the scene of a crash at SH 21/CR 114.

Complainant met with a Deputy for a fraud investigation.

Deputy responded to a crisis intervention call on CR 125.

 

January 27, 2026

Deputy responded to a crisis intervention call on FM 141.

Deputy responded to a minor single vehicle vs. deer crash on E. US Hwy 290.

Motorist reported a reckless driver on SH 21. Sergeant located the vehicle and the driver was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.

Deputy responded to assist Bastrop County with a crash at US Hwy 290/FM 696.

 

January 28, 2026

Deputy initiated a traffic stop at SH 21/CR 430. One male subject was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.

Deputy assisted a citizen with a vehicle unlock on CR 213.

Complainant spoke with a Deputy in regard to a scam involving toll bills.

Deputy responded to a minor crash on FM 696.

Deputies assisted DPS and GPD with a male subject that fled on foot from a traffic stop on Orange St. One male booked into the Lee County Jail.

School Resource Deputy issued citations to motorists speeding in the LISD school zone.

Deputies were dispatched to a disturbance in the 8100 block of FM 141. Deputies arrived and determined it to be verbal only, parties separated.

Sergeant investigated a report of animal cruelty (livestock) on FM 141.

Deputy conducted a security check in the 5600 block of E. US Hwy 290 after a resident reported a suspicious person walking the property.

Deputy made a foot patrol security check of Dime Box at 3:00 a.m.

 

January 29, 2026

Deputy and Pct. 3 Constable responded to provide assistance to Williamson County with a missing person on FM 619. Female was located by Constable and turned over to Wilco authorities.

Deputy assisted at the scene of a minor crash at N. US Hwy 77/SH 21.

Criminal Investigators assisted patrol with a search warrant on a follow-up case.

Deputies are conducting security checks on CR 309 after receiving reports of a gray vehicle driving slowly and turning around in driveways.

Deputies were called out to a disturbance on CR 442. Deputies determined the matter was verbal only and the parties were separated.

Deputy responded to an address on CR 118 to investigate a report of a threat.

Deputies responded to CR 125 to assist State Police with a report of criminal trespass.

GPD and DPS responded to a reported disturbance on Westwood Lane until Deputies could arrive from the previous call. One female was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.

 

January 30, 2026

Sheriff responded to an address on CR 118 to investigate a report of animal cruelty (livestock).

Sheriff located debris from illegal dumping on CR 118. Pct. 1 Commissioner was contacted.

Deputy responded to investigate a report of vehicle burglaries on CR 237. Further investigation determined that no items were stolen, just property damage at this time.

Deputy responded to investigate another report of a vehicle burglary on E. US Hwy 290. Tools were reportedly stolen from a work vehicle.

Deputies assisted with a funeral escort in Lexington.

Deputy took a report of a dog bite victim.

Caller reported a youth wearing all black hopping fences on 5th Street. Deputy patrolled the area but was unable to locate.

Deputies assisted at the scene of a crash on FM 2440.

Deputies were called out to a residence on CR 450 for a disturbance. One male subject was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.

Deputy conducted a requested welfare check on FM 180.

 

January 31, 2026

Deputy checked on a reported suspicious vehicle in the 4300 block of SH 21.

Deputy took information in regard to credit card abuse.

Deputies assisted with a funeral escort in Lexington.

Complainant reported criminal mischief to their mailbox on PR 5007. Deputy responded to investigate and make report.

Deputies conducted traffic enforcement on SH 21.

Deputy assisted DPS with a traffic stop/arrest on W. US Hwy 290.

Deputy responded to SH 21/CR 401 to provide traffic control for a wrecker removing a vehicle from the ditch.

Deputy checked on a stranded motorist on W. US Hwy 290 that was awaiting a wrecker service.

Deputy took a report of found property at the sheriff's office.

Deputy responded to CR 305 on a report of suspicious activity. The reporting party observed a human figure running through a relative's property. The Deputy searched the area but was unable to locate.

Caller reported mini-bike driving recklessly on CR 114. Deputy patrolled the area.

 

February 1, 2026

Deputy and Pct. 3 Justice of the Peace responded to an inquest on N. US Hwy 77.

Deputy assisted a citizen with a vehicle unlock on W. Austin St.

Sergeant made a traffic stop on FM 141. One male subject was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.

Deputy responded to a minor crash on W. US Hwy 290.

 

For this reporting period, Lee County Deputies initiated 89 traffic enforcement stops, made 114 security checks, and responded to 12 animal/loose livestock calls.

 

Please remain vigilant and report suspicious activities at all hours of the day and night. Our Deputies are out patrolling at all hours, but we still need our citizens to be our eyes and ears.

Phone scams continue to be an issue. Be cautious of any callers, never give out your information, and report these incidents to your sheriff's office (979) 542-2800.
