January 12, 2026

Traffic enforcement conducted on W. FM 696. Speeding citations issued.

Deputy patrolled Dime Box School Zone.

Caller requested a Deputy to a residence on W. US 290 for a juvenile matter.

Deputy investigated a report of illegal dumping on FM 141.

Deputy patrolled Lexington School Zone.

Deputy assisted a motorist with a flat tire on SH 21.

Deputies responded to a reported disturbance on CR 237. It was determined that the matter was verbal only and parties were separated.

Caller reported a suspicious person on PR 8023. The individual was located and identified.

 

January 13, 2026

Complainant reported damaged mailboxes in the 2200 block of W. SH 21. Deputy determined that an unknown black vehicle left the roadway and caused the damage.

Deputy conducted the estray process on N. County Line Road for a horse.

Traffic citations issued in the LISD school zone on US 77.

Deputy conducted a follow-up investigation on Hope St. in regard to illegal dumping.

Deputy conducted a follow-up investigation on Inge St. in regard to illegal dumping.

Deputy met with a complainant that reported sand on roadway from trucks on FM 141.

Caller reported suspicious activity in the 3200 block of E. FM 696. Deputies patrolled the area, no offense.

Caller reported suspicious activity on CR 217. A blue/gray Ford F-250 going door-to-door selling asphalt. Deputy checked the area, but was unable to locate.

Deputies responded to a reported disturbance on Westwood Lane. One female was arrested on site and booked into the Lee County Jail.

 

January 14, 2026

Sergeant met with a citizen in regard to a fraud report.

Sheriff spoke with a citizen in regard to fraud.

Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.

Sheriff, Chief Deputy, and Investigators responded to assist Pct. 4 Constable with explosives found during an eviction in Dime Box.

Deputy assisted a stranded motorist on FM 141.

Deputy took a report of a dog bite from CR 117.

Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on CR 208 - no violations observed.

Deputy issued a criminal trespass notice on Willow Creek Dr.

 

January 15, 2026

Sergeant conducted 68-A inspections at the sheriff's office.

CID investigators executed a search warrant in Burleson County, with the assistance on BCSO and multiple agencies.

Deputy met with a complainant to take a report of fraud.

Loose horses were picked up at FM 180/CR 132.

Caller reported a disturbance between a male and female on FM 180. The male had driven off and Deputies located the female. Information taken for a report.

LCSO Dispatch was notified of a train derailment in the area of PR 4486.

Deputy assisted a DPS Trooper with a vehicle stop/arrest on E. US 290.

 

January 16, 2026

Deputy booked a male subject into the Lee County Jail that came in to surrender on a fraud warrant.

Deputy checked on a stranded motorist on N. US Hwy 77 just south of Lexington.

Deputy issued a citation on Main St. for a speeding violation in the GISD school zone.

Deputy spoke with a complainant about a fraud case.

Deputy responded to a minor two vehicle crash on US 290/PR 2909.

Sergeant conducted traffic control as an oil field company moved a building at FM 141/CR 428.

Deputy issued a citation for a speeding violation in the LISD school zone.

 

January 17, 2026

Deputy red-tagged an abandoned vehicle on CR 453.

Sergeant made close patrols of Shady Oaks subdivision to ensure compliance with clean-up of previously reported illegal dumping complaints.

Caller report a suspicious male subject near PR 8048. Deputy located and identified the individual who was provided a courtesy ride.

Deputy made a traffic stop on FM 2239 for speeding, 90/65 mph zone. The motorist informed the Deputy they were late for a nail appointment.

Complainant reported gunfire from a property on CR 430. Deputy responded to investigate.

While on close patrol in Lexington, a resident advised of a youth that drives a long bed, white, Chevy or GMC with very loud music.

Deputy responded to a report of a reckless driver in a light blue F-250 on FM 112.

 

January 18, 2026

Complainant reported the theft of an extension cord from a property on CR F. Deputy responded to investigate.

Deputies called to residence on Blaha Ave. for a verbal disturbance.

Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on FM 180.

Motorist reported a hit-and-run crash on SH 21 at CR 114. Deputy responded to investigate.

Caller reported a male subject hitchhiking on CR 114. Deputy patrolled the area, but was unable to locate the male.

Deputies handled a crisis intervention call on CR 125.

Deputy spoke with a complainant in regard to property damage on CR 450.

Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on W. SH 21.

 

For this reporting period, Lee County Deputies initiated 149 traffic enforcement stops, made 141 security checks, and responded to 29 animal/loose livestock calls.
