February 9, 2026

Deputy conducted a warrant service. One booked into Lee County Jail on local charge.

Deputies assisted at the scene of a crash at FM 141/CR 116.

Deputy assisted a stranded motorist on W. US Hwy 290.

 

February 10, 2026

Deputy checked on a report of illegal dumping off of US Hwy 77.

Deputy checked on another report of illegal dumping off of CR 424.

Deputy conducted a warrant service. One booked into Lee County Jail on local charge.

Deputy assisted a citizen with a vehicle unlock.

Deputy assisted at the scene of a minor crash on W. US Hwy 290.

Deputy conducted a warrant service. One booked into the Lee County Jail on local charge.

 

February 11, 2026

Deputies conducted funeral escort in Tanglewood.

Deputy and Game Warden provided traffic control on Rockdale St. while a cable was repaired over the roadway.

Deputy completed a requested welfare check on CR C.

Caller reported suspicious activity in the area of Yegua St. where two vehicles were parked and the complainant smelled marihuana. Deputy patrolled the area but was unable to locate.

Report taken on a dog bite incident that occurred on PR 7016.

Deputies responded to a disturbance on PR 2333.

Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.

Deputy completed a welfare check at SH 21/CR 402 and provided a courtesy ride.

Deputies conducted a welfare check on CR 330.

 

February 12, 2026

Deputy took a report of animal cruelty on CR 105.

SO Burleson Co reported a rolling disturbance in a vehicle on SH 21 crossing into Lee Co. A BCSO Deputy was able to locate the vehicle in Old Dime Box and a LCSO Deputy stopped by to assist.

Deputy investigated a report of animal cruelty on CR C.

Deputy assisted a stranded motorist on SH 21.

Sergeant conducted a welfare check on Blaha Ave.

 

February 13, 2026

Deputies conducted a welfare check on Westwood Ln.

Deputies conducted escort for funeral in Lexington.

Complainant met with a Deputy to file a report of harassment.

Deputy assisted stranded motorist on FM 141.

Complainant met with a Deputy to file a fraud report.

Deputy assisted at the scene of a two vehicle crash on SH 21.

Deputies responded to a reported verbal disturbance in the 8800 block of N. US Hwy 77. The parties were separated.

Deputy initiated a traffic stop on W. US Hwy 290. One arrested on site and booked into Lee County Jail.

Deputy cited a speeding motorist for 110/70 mph zone on US Hwy 77 in Tanglewood.

 

February 14, 2026

Deputy responded to an address on CR 210 to investigate a report of a stolen vehicle. The complainant report that their Chevy farm truck was stolen. Active investigation-close patrols in effect.

Deputy responded to a one vehicle crash on CR 305.

Deputy spoke with a complainant in regard to a harassment report.

Complainant reported 18 wheelers parking on property without permission on FM 1697.

Deputies assisted at the scene of a major crash on SH 21.

Deputy and Game Warden responded to an address on Giddings St. on a report of two females trespassing.

Deputies assisted at the scene of a crash on E. US Hwy 290.

Deputies assisted at the scene of a crash on US Hwy 77/CR 114.

Deputy conducted a motorist assist on FM 112.

Complainant reported a suspicious vehicle parked near PR 6011. Deputy checked on the motorist who had pulled over to rest.

Complainant reported a noise complaint on CR 306. Deputy patrolled the area and met with the source and determined the level was not disorderly.

 

February 15, 2026

Caller reported a fire on CR 219. Deputies and South Lee County VFD responded to the scene of a fully involved structure fire. An inquest was held by Justice of the Peace Pct. 2.

Deputy assisted a stranded motorist on FM 1624.

Deputies responded to a medical call on CR 117. An inquest was held by Justice of the Peace Pct. 2.

Caller reported criminal trespass on CR 122. Deputy responded to investigate and made contact and identified the individuals in question.

Deputy conducted a welfare check on a pedestrian at SH 21/FM 3403. Courtesy ride provided.

 

For this reporting period, Lee County Deputies initiated 178 traffic enforcement stops, made 107 security checks, and responded to 13 animal/loose livestock calls.
