February 2, 2026
Sheriff and CID Investigators conducted a warrant service. One male booked into Lee County Jail on local warrant.
Sheriff and Deputies assisted with a funeral escort in Giddings.
Deputy responded to a property on CR F for a trespassing call. The area is to be under close patrol at the owner's request.
Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.
SRO Deputy issued citations for speeding violations in Lexington ISD school zone.
Deputy conducted a requested welfare check on FM 141.
Deputy conducted a requested welfare check on CR 226.
Deputy checked on a vehicle hazard on CR 451.
Complainant reported an unknown subject with a flashlight in a field on Cherry Dr. at 3:00am. Deputies searched the area but were unable to locate.
February 3, 2026
CID Investigator took a report of a sexual assault. Active investigation.
Sergeant conducted 68-A vehicle inspections.
Deputy conducted a requested welfare check on CR 441.
Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.
CID Investigator responded to an area hospital for a report of a gunshot victim. It was determined to be an accidental discharge and non-life threatening.
February 4, 2026
Deputy assisted a stranded motorist at SH 21/CR 114.
Deputy issued a speeding citation to a motorist on SH 21 for 108/70 mph zone.
Deputy initiated a traffic stop on E. US Hwy 290. One individual was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Deputy completed a requested welfare check in the 8000 block of N. US Hwy 77.
February 5, 2026
Deputy initiated a traffic stop on FM 141. Subject fled but with the assistance of Pct. 4 Constable, Deputies were able to apprehend the subject. Subject was booked into the Lee County Jail.
Deputy responded to a welfare check on an individual on N Hwy 77. Contact was made with individual, who appeared to be okay.
Deputy initiated a traffic stop on W. Austin Street. One individual was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Deputy assisted a stranded motorist on Hwy 21. Vehicle was removed from the roadway.
February 6, 2026
Sheriff, Deputies, and STAR-1 Drone responded to CR 430 for a grass fire spreading to nearby residences. Residents were evacuated.
Complainant reported online fraud. Deputy attempted to make contact with complainant.
Sheriff, Deputies, and STAR-1 Drone assisted with a grass fire on CR 436.
Deputy met with a complainant in reference to a scam.
Deputy located a suspicious vehicle on CR 114. Driver was sleeping and given directions to the nearest store.
February 7, 2026
Sergeant conducted 68-A vehicle inspections.
Deputy was dispatched to a residence on FM 141 for a welfare check. Contact was made with resident.
Deputy met with a complainant about fraud. Complainant was referred to JP court.
Deputy initiated a traffic stop on Hwy 290 at CR 205. Passenger was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail for an out of county warrant.
Deputy responded to a noise complaint on CR 133. Property owner was advised to turn the music down.
Deputies assisted Game Warden with locating a vehicle hunting from the roadway on CR 323. Vehicle was located.
February 8, 2026
Property owner reported fence damage off FM 448. Deputy responded to the call.
Deputy responded to CR 324 for property damage.
Deputy assisted a motorist on Hwy 77 North with a flat tire.
Sergeant assisted DPS with a traffic stop on W. Austin Street. One individual was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.
For this reporting period, Lee County Deputies initiated 211 traffic enforcement stops, made 112 security checks, and responded to 6 animal/loose livestock calls.
