December 29, 2025
Deputy was dispatched to CR 430 in regard to roadway debris.
Deputy was dispatched to CR 412 in regard to roadway debris.
Deputies assisted GPD with a funeral escort.
Complainant spoke with a Deputy about a harassment case.
All units responded to E. US Hwy 290 to assist Fayette and Washington Counties with a suspect vehicle that was involved in a disturbance with shots fired. Sheriff and Deputies conducted traffic control at the scene.
Complainant met with a Deputy for a burglary investigation in the 7200 block of W. FM 696. Numerous tools were reported stolen. Active investigation.
Deputies handled a crisis intervention call on FM 141. Another agency was referred to provide additional assistance.
Deputy assisted a stranded motorist with a tire change on E. US Hwy 290.
Deputy met with a complainant in the 8900 block of N. US Hwy 77 in reference to a theft investigation.
December 30, 2025
Citizen reported an abandoned vehicle on CR 119. Deputy made location to investigate and the vehicle was found to be a hazard and removed by a wrecker service.
Deputy took a report of criminal mischief on Gary St. Information gathered for a report.
Deputies assisted at the scene of a one vehicle rollover crash in the 2300 block of FM 1697.
December 31, 2025
Chief Deputy assisted a stranded motorist with a tire change on FM 2440.
Deputy responded to CR 410 to investigate report of criminal mischief. Trash bins were struck by a vehicle resulting in damaged bins and scattered trash. Report taken.
Complainant reported a neighbor's horse on their property on N. County Line Road. Deputy is attempting to locate the owner.
Deputy conducted a requested welfare check on FM 141.
Deputy went out to PR 6006 on a report of criminal trespass. The parties were identified and determined to have permission to be on the property.
Deputy assisted at the scene of a minor one vehicle crash on W. US Hwy 290.
Caller reported a possible burglary on N. Rockdale St. Deputy responded to investigate but did not locate any suspect/s or evidence of an attempted burglary.
Deputy responded to a fire on CR 305 to aid with traffic control and investigate equipment damaged by fire.
Caller reported rapid gunfire in the area of FM 141/CR 428. Deputy was unable to locate the noise or the source.
Caller reported gunfire on Westwood Lane. Deputy was unable to locate.
Caller reported gunfire on FM 2440. Deputy met with residents in the area.
Deputy was requested to assist GPD on S. Montgomery Ave.
Caller reported loud music on Deerwood Dr. Deputy patrolled the area but did not locate the music or source.
Deputy responded to a minor one vehicle crash on E. US Hwy 290.
January 1, 2026
Deputy assisted a Trooper with a traffic stop and subsequent vehicle search at US 290/FM 180.
Deputy met with a complainant at the sheriff's posse arena in regard to a civil matter.
Deputies assisted at the scene of a crash on CR 345.
Caller reported the neighbor's fireworks started a fire and now people were arguing. Deputy responded to keep the peace and the VFD was cancelled.
Deputy completed a requested welfare check on CR 200.
Deputy handled a crisis intervention call on CR 345.
Deputy summoned a rotation wrecker service for an abandoned vehicle at SH 21/FM 3403.
Deputy handled a crisis intervention call on FM 141.
January 2, 2026
Deputy responded to assist a citizen with a vehicle unlock on CR 205.
Deputy and Lexington PD checked on a reported reckless driver on FM 696.
Deputies responded to a reported disturbance on Westwood Lane. The involved party declined to press charges for criminal trespass.
Deputies were called to Hope St. for a male subject that was dropped off there. It was determined that the male was dropped off at the wrong location and was provided assistance.
Motorist reported a one vehicle vs. deer crash on CR 226.
Deputy assisted at the scene of a minor crash on US Hwy 290.
Deputy responded to a juvenile matter on CR 133.
Deputies responded to a verbal disturbance on CR 127. Parties were separated and peace restored.
Deputy made a traffic stop on W. US Hwy 290. The driver was arrested for reckless driving and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Deputy checked on a reported suspicious vehicle parked at N. US Hwy 77/CR 114. The driver had pulled over to rest.
January 3, 2026
Deputies investigated a report of illegal dumping on Inge St.
Deputy investigated a report of property damage on CR 318 where a vehicle damaged a fence. Photos were taken and evidence was collected at the scene to identify the vehicle responsible.
Deputies checked on a reported suspicious female walking on CR 205. The complainant was concerned of possible theft from mail boxes. Sergeant arrived and contacted Bastrop County SO for additional info on female subject. Close patrols in effect.
Deputy assisted a citizen with a vehicle unlock in N. Polk St.
Deputies assisted LCEMS with a medical call on FM 180.
Deputy checked on suspicious activity in the 5400 block of N. US HWY 77.
January 4, 2026
Deputies responded to CR 410 to aid VFD with a large fire. Lieutenant responded to provided aerial assistance with Star II (LCSO Drone).
Deputies responded to an address on FM 141 after a complainant reported unknown persons trespassing. Deputies were unable to locate any trespassers.
For this reporting period, Lee County Deputies initiated 123 traffic enforcement stops, made 59 security checks, and responded to 34 animal/loose livestock calls.
