December 22, 2025

VFD reported an 18 wheeler broke down in the center lane on SH 21. The vehicle was gone upon the Deputy's arrival.

Deputy assisted another agency with a motorist assist on N. US Hwy 77.

Sergeant conducted a welfare check of a resident on FM 141.

Motorist reported a bale of hay on the eastbound entrance ramp of SH 21 at US Hwy 77. Deputy and VFD responded.

Deputy responded to a minor one vehicle vs. deer crash on FM 3403.

Deputy made foot patrol of Lexington square after midnight.

 

December 23, 2025

Complainant reported a white pickup truck hunting from the roadway in the area of CR 403. The camera footage was sent to a Deputy and the TP&W Game Warden for follow-up investigation.

Complainant reported trespassing on property off of W. FM 696. Deputy responded to investigate.

Deputy met with a complainant to investigate a report of a terroristic threat on CR 219.

Motorist reported a female on the side of SH 21. Deputy arrived and provided a courtesy ride.

Motorist reported a male on the side of US Hwy 77 in Lexington. Deputy arrived and provided a courtesy ride.

Sergeant spoke with a complainant in regard to a close patrol request on Clark Lane.

Deputy met with a complainant to investigate a report of terrorist threat. No offense.

Deputy assisted a stranded motorist at E. US 290/FM 180.

Deputies conducted numerous overnight security checks across the county.

 

December 24, 2025

Caller reported suspicious activity on CR 316, involving two males in a white van. A Deputy responded, the vehicle was gone upon arrival. Close patrol in effect.

Deputy assisted a stranded motorist on W. SH 21.

Deputy assisted at the scene of a minor crash on FM 1697.

Deputies responded to a crisis intervention call on CR 201.

Deputy made a traffic stop on N. US Hwy 77 for a speeding violation. The driver was cited for 111 mph/70 mph zone.

Deputy responded to N. County Line Road on a report of estray livestock.

Deputy made a traffic stop on E. US Hwy 290 for a speeding violation. The driver was cited for 100 mph/75 mph zone.

Caller reported a male subject in the ditch along the 5700 block of N. US Hwy 77 after 3:00am. Deputies searched the area but were unable to locate the subject.

Deputies conducted numerous overnight security checks across the county to ensure that Santa Clause was the only one entering homes.

 

December 25, 2025

Caller reported a Jeep parked for several hours in the 4300 block of W. US Hwy 290. Deputy responded to check on the matter.

Deputies assisted at the scene of a two vehicle crash on SH 21/US Hwy 77.

Deputy conducted a requested welfare check on CR 200.

Deputies assisted at the scene of a minor two vehicle crash at Hester St./Rockdale St. Courtesy ride provided to driver of one of the vehicles to their residence in town.

Deputy conducted a requested welfare check on PR 2904.

Deputy and Trooper responded to a family disturbance in the 4500 block of W. US Hwy 290. Parties separated.

Deputy conducted a welfare check on FM 141.

Deputies responded to a family disturbance on CR E. No offense.

Caller requested a Deputy for subjects spotlighting from an ATV on CR 323. The Game Warden was summoned and a Deputy responded to meet with the reporting party.

Caller reported that two dogs tried to attack while taking out trash on Westwood Lane. Deputy met with the owner of the dogs and determined that the dogs were being secured and no one was bitten.

Deputy was summoned to PR 8062 on a criminal trespass report.

Deputy and VFD responded to a report of a minor one vehicle crash on FM 112.

Deputies responded to a family disturbance on CR E. Peace restored.

Deputy responded to FM 1697 on a report of a semi that struck a guardrail. TxDOT was notified.

Caller made a noise complaint on Giddings St. Deputy patrolled the area but did not detect any loud music or noise.

 

December 26, 2025

Deputies responded to a disturbance on CR 324. Parties separated, peace restored.

Deputy removed a bale of hay from roadway on FM 141.

Deputy conducted a requested welfare check on FM 2239.

Deputy conducted a requested welfare check on FM 180.

Caller on CR 223 reported a family member that was possibly hallucinating and carrying a shotgun. Deputies and Troopers were summoned to the scene. Prior to arrival, the male subject left in a vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted and the subject was transported to the Lee County Jail.

Deputies responded to a property on FM 2440 on a report of shots fired. Deputies spoke with the party involved.

Deputy assisted at the scene of a minor one vehicle crash in the 1200 block of FM 112.

Deputies were informed of a gray Chevy pickup and a red Ford explorer that have been speeding on Clark Lane.

 

December 27, 2025

Caller requested a welfare check for a male subject at 4th/Giddings St. Deputy checked by to complete the welfare check.

Dispatch received a silent 911 call on SFA Blvd. in Dime Box. The dispatcher was able to determine that a male and female were arguing. Deputies arrived on scene and one individual was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.

Deputy assisted Giddings police officer with a reckless driver call on E. US Hwy 290.

Deputies assisted at the scene of a major crash on SH 21 in Old Dime Box.

Deputy checked on an abandoned vehicle on CR 400. The vehicle was red-tagged and the owner made notification that it would be towed on Monday.

Deputy responded to CR 223 in regard to found property.

Deputies were summoned to a disturbance on Shady Oaks. One male subject was arrested on site for an outstanding warrant and booked into the Lee County Jail. Peace restored.

Deputy assisted a stranded motorist with a courtesy ride on N. Main St.

Deputies assisted at the scene of a minor vehicle crash vs. deer on N. US Hwy 77.

Deputy assisted a Trooper at the scene of a traffic stop on E. US Hwy 290/CR 234. One dog transported to the animal shelter.

Deputies were summoned to an assault call on CR 402. Deputies investigated and determined that no offense had occurred and the parties were separated.

Deputies assisted Giddings police with a crisis intervention transport.

While on patrol, a Deputy stopped out with a vehicle in the lane of traffic with hazard lights on at SH 21/CR 440. EMS was summoned for a child having trouble breathing.

 

December 28, 2025

SO Burleson County notified LCSO of a reported reckless driver on SH 21. A Deputy located the vehicle and a determined that the driver was tired and stopped at the convenience store to rest.

Deputies were called to a residence on FM 141 for a verbal disturbance. The party causing the problem was advised to return home. No offense.

While on patrol, a Deputy struck a deer on CR 114. The deer was dispatched, the Deputy was not injured, and there was no reportable damage to the county vehicle. 

Motorist reported dead hogs on roadway at FM 1624/CR 326. Debris removed.

Deputy and Game Warden responded to W. FM 696 for a minor one vehicle crash vs. deer.

Deputy responded to PR 3023 to meet with a complainant in reference to a criminal trespass matter.

While on patrol, a Deputy was flagged down by a citizen who reported a downed tree blocking CR 430. The Deputy removed the debris to clear the roadway.

 

For this reporting period, Lee County Deputies initiated 126 traffic enforcement stops, made 43 security checks, and responded to 21 animal/loose livestock calls.
