Caller reported suspicious activity on FM 2440. Deputy arrived in the area but was unable to locate.
Deputy spoke with parties on CR 326 in regard to a civil matter.
Deputies conducted a warrant service on FM 141. One male subject wanted out of Lamar and Lee Counties booked into Lee County Jail.
Deputy spoke with a resident about the consequences of illegal dumping on CR 308.
Deputy responded to a suspicious vehicle report on CR 327, which was determined to be an oilfield worker making repair to a water line.

Deputy conducted a requested welfare check at a residence on CR 133.
Deputies responded to a minor crash on Hwy 77 South.
Deputy responded to a minor crash at FM 448/CR 217.
Deputy spoke with a caller on CR 213 in regard to a juvenile matter.
Investigators conducted a warrant service arrest at the sheriff's office. One male subject booked into the Lee County Jail.
Deputy investigated a report of a terroristic threat at CR 118.
Deputy responded to a minor crash on Highway 77 North of Lexington.
Deputy responded to noise complaint on CR 306.
Deputies responded to a crash on Highway 77 North involving a jack-knifed 18 wheeler.

Deputy responded to FM 696 on a report of a crash vs. deer.
Deputy assisted with debris on E. Austin St. Deputy reported a delivery truck lost packages on the highway.
Caller reported a dog stuck in a trap on CR 316. Deputy arrived to free the dog.
Lee County Dispatch received a call in regard to a runaway juvenile. Deputies, Investigators, and Lexington Police searched and were able to locate the juvenile. One male subject was arrested for Harboring Runaway Child and Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Requirements.
Deputy responded to Veteran's Park to assist Giddings Police with a reported suicide.
Deputy took a minor crash report on FM 696 East.
Deputy responded to a business in Lexington on a report of criminal trespass.
Sergeant met with an offender at the sheriff's office for sex offender registry requirement. One male subject was booked into the Lee County Jail on an out-of-county arrest warrant.
Caller reported a domestic disturbance at a residence on CR 424. Deputies arrived and one male suspect was arrested for assault family violence and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Caller reported a disturbance on Blaha Avenue. Deputies arrived at the scene and the parties were separated.

Deputy booked a female subject that surrendered herself at the Lee County Jail.
Deputy served a Criminal Trespass Warning on a male subject for property on CR 105.
Motorist reported a suspicious male subject on CR 226. Sheriff located and identified the individual who was walking to Austin. Sergeant provided a courtesy ride to the county line.
Deputy took a theft report from FM 1624 in regard to stolen cattle panels.
Deputies assisted with a funeral escort in Giddings.
Deputy took a report of a terroristic threat from Westwood Lane.
Sheriff, Investigators, and Deputies responded to CR 217 to investigate a reported shooting. One male subject was arrested on scene and another male victim was transported by medical helicopter. Investigation continues.
Lee County Dispatch received multiple 911 calls reporting tin all over Highway 77 North of Giddings.
Complainant reported that a female subject smeared fecal matter all over their vehicle. Deputy located and arrested the one responsible for the dirty deed. One female booked into the Lee County Jail.
Sheriff, Investigators, and Deputies responded to CR 309 on a report of suspicious persons in the area of a previously reported burglary.
Sergeant conducted a sex offender registry at the sheriff's office.
Deputy spoke with two parties involved in a verbal disturbance on CR 208.
Caller reported a suspicious vehicle parked on CR 329. Deputy arrived and located the vehicle parked on the registered property.

Sheriff made a traffic stop on a speeding vehicle on N. Main Street in the school zone.
Sergeant responded to a reported minor crash on CR 306.
Deputy conducted a requested welfare check on Westwood Lane.
Sheriff received a report of a suspicious blue pickup truck on CR 229. Deputies patrolled the area.
Deputy assisted a motorist with a vehicle unlock at N. Caldwell Street.
Deputy provided traffic control for a man changing a tire at Hwy 77/SH 21.
Deputies patrolled CR 233 after receiving a report of a suspicious Nissan pickup truck in the area.
12/21/2024
Deputy checked on an abandoned vehicle on FM 180. The vehicle was determined to be reported stolen out of Houston PD. The vehicle was inventoried and secured by rotation wrecker service.
Deputies responded to a two vehicle crash on SH 21 East.
Deputies responded to a verbal disturbance on CR 113. The involved parties were separated to keep the peace.
Deputy responded to a residence on SH 21 West in regard to a report of a drone in the air.
Deputy responded to Giddings Street on a report of screaming and yelling. Deputy made contact with the individual.
Caller reported a noise complaint of a red SUV driving up and down FM 1624. Deputy patrolled the area.
Deputy responded to a minor crash involving a vehicle vs. deer on Hwy 290/PR 6011.
Deputies conducted 116 traffic enforcement stops, 30 security checks, and responded to 20 loose livestock calls.
The Lee County Blue Santa program wrapped up the 2024 season by handing out gifts to those who registered. We wish everyone a Merry CHRISTmas and a safe and prosperous New Year.
