December 15, 2025
Motorist reported a traffic hazard on W. FM 696/CR 309. Sheriff and Chief Deputy located the truck driver who had mechanical issues. Deputy arrived to aid with traffic control until the truck could be relocated.
Deputies assisted with funeral escort in Lexington.
Deputies issued citations for school zone violations in Lexington.
Deputy responded to a minor one vehicle crash on SH 21.
Suspicious male subject reported at US 290/FM 180. Deputy patrolled the area, unable to locate.
December 16, 2025
Deputy assisted at the scene of a minor one vehicle vs. deer crash in the 1400 block W. Austin St.
Deputy responded to CR 414 to meet with a reporting party in regard to two stray dogs.
Deputy met with a complainant at the sheriff's office for an identity theft report.
Deputies assisted with a funeral escort in Giddings.
Deputy met with a complainant at the sheriff's office for a theft report.
Sheriff responded to S. US Hwy 77 to take a report of credit card abuse.
Deputy checked on a male subject that was reported on FM 448.
December 17, 2025
Deputy assisted Giddings PD with a 911 hang-up call on S. Caldwell St.
Complainant reported criminal mischief in the 4900 block of CR 309. Deputy responded to investigate and determined the damage to the fence was caused by a vehicle.
Deputies assisted Giddings PD with a funeral escort.
Sergeant checked on a burglar alarm at a convenience store on SH 21. The owner was notified that no criminal activity was located.
December 18, 2025
Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.
Deputies assisted at the scene of a motorcycle crash on FM 180. Sheriff and Chief Deputy assisted LCEMS and Fire at the airport with medical helicopter landing.
Deputy assisted at the scene of an inquest on CR 316.
Deputy assisted a citizen with a vehicle unlock on E. Austin St.
Motorist reported a minor one vehicle crash vs. deer on FM 141.
Deputy assisted at the scene of a hit-and-run crash investigation on N. US Hwy 77.
Caller reported a suspicious blue suburban on CR 310. Deputy patrolled the area, unable to locate.
December 19, 2025
Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on W. US Hwy 290 for school bus patrols.
Deputy met with a complainant on CR 226 for a harassment report.
Deputy conducted a requested welfare check on FM 180.
Deputies and Investigator responded to CR 113 on a juvenile matter.
Deputies responded to a reported domestic disturbance on CR 430.
December 20, 2025
Sheriff, LCSO personnel, and many volunteers conducted operation Lee County Blue Santa.
Deputies responded to a juvenile matter on Shady Oaks St.
Deputies responded to a crash in the 8800 block of N. US Hwy 77.
Deputy initiated a traffic stop on CR 308. One male was booked into the Lee County Jail.
Sheriff and Sergeant conducted follow-up on suspicious person call.
Deputies responded to a reported verbal disturbance on Hope St.
Deputies assisted at the scene of a major crash on SH 21 in Old Dime Box.
December 21, 2025
Deputies assisted at the scene of a structure fire on Harry St.
Deputy responded to a suspicious activity call on FM 1697.
Deputy responded to a juvenile matter on CR 450.
For this reporting period, Lee County Deputies initiated 117 traffic enforcement stops, made 29 security checks, and responded to 21 animal/loose livestock calls.
