August 4, 2025

Deputies responded to a minor vehicle collision on Hwy 290 East.

Deputies conducted multiple traffic stops and security checks.

Complainant reported a known male subject trespassing on CR 430. The complainant was viewing the suspect from a security camera. Deputies determined that the male subject fled from the scene after being confronted by others present in the home. Deputies obtained a warrant of arrest and the male suspect was later placed under arrest. During transport to jail, the suspect caused damage to the rear interior area of a Lee County patrol vehicle and faces additional charges of criminal mischief.

Deputies responded to a juvenile matter in the 3400 block of SH 21.

Deputy met with complainants on CR C in regard to identity theft.

Deputy conducted a vehicle unlock on N. Williamson St.

Complainant reported a domestic disturbance in the 5900 block of CR 309. Deputies responded to investigate and one male suspect was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.

 

August 5, 2025

Investigator conducted warrant service on a male subject that surrendered himself.

Deputy conducted a requested child welfare check on PR 7016.

Sergeant conducted 68-A inspections.

Deputy responded to a minor crash on CR 309 involving a vehicle vs. horse.

 

August 6, 2025

Sheriff and Deputies worked Operation Safe Start for Lexington ISD campuses.

Deputy conducted a traffic stop on W. Austin St. A probable cause search resulted in the discovery of marihuana. One male subject was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.

Deputy conducted a vehicle unlock on N. Orange St.

Complainant reported juveniles playing loud music after 10:00pm on 3rd St. in Lexington.

 

August 7, 2025

Deputy responded to a crisis intervention call on PR 8004.

Deputy responded to a crisis intervention call on FM 141.

Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance. One male suspect was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.

Deputies and VFD's responded to a fully-involved structure fire on PR 4041.

Complainant reported subjects riding dirt bikes through private property on CR 330. Deputies responded to the area, however the persons were gone upon arrival.

Deputy responded to a noise complaint in the 4600 block of CR 133.

 

August 8, 2025

Sheriff, Investigators, and Deputies responded to a reported drowning on PR 3263.

Complainant reported their home was struck by a fired bullet in the 1000 block of CR 405. Report taken for investigation.

Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.

Motorist reported a reckless driver on W. Austin St. Deputy conducted a traffic stop and the driver was arrested for DWI following an investigation. One male subject was booked into the Lee County Jail.

Deputy met with the complainant at the sheriff's office regarding an assault report.

 

August 9, 2025

Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.

Deputies responded to assist GPD with a domestic disturbance in the 1100 block of Old Nails Creek Road.

Deputy responded to a vehicle collision with a cow on CR 415.

Deputies assisted GPD with a foot pursuit on S. Chambers St.

 

August 10, 2025

Deputy made a traffic stop on Hwy 77 North and determined that one of the vehicle occupants was in violation of a protective order. One male subject was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.

Complainant reported a theft on CR 412. Deputy responded to investigate and make report of a stolen firearm.

Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.

Deputies responded to a crisis intervention call on SH 21.

 

For this reporting period, Lee County Deputies initiated 90 traffic enforcement stops, made 40 security checks, and responded to 12 animal/loose livestock calls.

 

We would like to remind everyone that our local schools are back in session. Please be mindful of school zones and buses loading/unloading. There is a zero-tolerance policy for traffic violations in school zones and for vehicles passing school buses when the red lights are activated.
