School Zone patrols conducted.
Deputies responded to a reported disturbance on Westwood Ln.
Traffic enforcement on FM 141. Citations issued to sand trucks for Failure to Secure Load.
Traffic enforcement on CR 124.
Deputy took a report of phone harassment.
Caller reported a suspicious female in the 5900 block of CR 309. Deputy patrolled the area, unable to locate.
Deputies assisted SO Fayette County with a vehicle pursuit from La Grange on US 77.
Deputy initiated a traffic stop at FM 2239/CR 209. One male arrested and booked into Lee County Jail.
Deputy initiated a traffic stop on E. US 290. One female arrested and booked into Lee County Jail.
Nightly security checks at rural neighborhoods and businesses.
September 1, 2026
School Zone patrols conducted.
Chief Deputy patrolled FM 448 after caller reported a trailer stolen from Winchester.
VFD and Deputy responded to a burn ban violation off of CR 118. Citation issued.
Deputy took a fraud report.
Sergeant conducted 68-A inspections.
Deputies responded to a reported disturbance on CR 122.
Deputy met with complainant and patrolled FM 141 on reports of sand trucks leaking sand on roadway.
Deputy responded to a one vehicle crash on CR 220.
Deputy responded to an address on PR 5002 in regard to criminal trespass.

September 2, 2026
School Zone patrols conducted.
Deputy patrolled school bus route/stops on E. US 290.
Deputy patrolled school bus route/stops on N. US 77.
Deputy spoke with a complainant in regard to an assault.
Deputies followed up on a tip of a possible stolen vehicle from Bastrop County located on FM 141. Deputies determined that the vehicle in question had been re-possessed. No offense.
Lieutenant worked up a case for a violation of a protective order.
Traffic enforcement conducted on FM 141. Citations issued to sand trucks for Failure to Secure Load.
Captain and Lieutenant traveled to Bastrop County to conducted warrant service. One arrested and booked into Lee County Jail.
Deputies assisted at the scene of a fatality crash on W. FM 696.
Deputies assisted at the scene of a crash at SH 21/FM 2440.
Deputy responded to an animal complaint on 3rd St. in Lexington.
Deputy responded to a noise complaint at Giddings St./4th St. in Lexington.
Deputy responded to a minor crash scene on US 77.

School Zone patrols conducted.
Caller reported a missing bull from property on FM 112.
Traffic enforcement conducted on SH 21.
Deputy summoned a rotation wrecker service for an abandoned trailer on FM 180.
Traffic enforcement conducted on W. FM 696.
Deputy responded to a burn ban violation off of CR E. Citation issued.
Deputy assisted a motorist with traffic control during a tire change on W. US 290.

Traffic enforcement conducted on N. US 77.
Deputy responded to a theft at a convenience store in the 4200 block of E. SH 21.
Sergeant conducted 68-A inspection.
Traffic enforcement conducted on FM 141.
Deputy booked an individual on a court commit.
Deputy conducted security check of downtown Lexington.
Sergeant conducted sex offender registry checks.
Deputy dispatched to the area of 2nd St./Rockdale St. regarding a truck parked in the roadway. Deputy made contact with the individual and the truck was relocated.
Information was passed to the Game Warden of a male subject cutting antlers off a deceased deer on FM 696.
Deputy assisted Giddings PD on a call at Austin/Leon St.
Traffic enforcement conducted on E. US 290.
Air Traffic Control contacted Dispatch to report a green laser light on two aircraft flying into ABIA. Deputies patrolled the area of 6600 N. US 77. This is a Class A Misdemeanor.
Deputy conducted a welfare check on CR 413.
Traffic enforcement conducted on E. US 290.

Deputies provided traffic control for an oversized load on SH 21 and N. US 77.
Deputies assisted with a funeral escort on FM 141.
Deputy assisted citizen with a vehicle unlock at the LHS Football Stadium.
Deputy responded to investigate a theft off of CR 430. Complainant reported a hay cutter was stolen from their property. Active investigation.
Traffic enforcement conducted on Rockdale St. in Lexington.
Traffic enforcement conducted on SH 21.
Traffic enforcement conducted on FM 1697.
Deputy responded to a business in Lexington to investigate a report of harassment.
Deputy initiated a traffic stop on FM 141. Driver arrested and booked into Lee County Jail.
Deputy assisted a citizen with a vehicle unlock in Lexington.
Deputies completed a requested welfare check on N. US 77.
Deputy met with a complainant to take a fraud report.
Caller reported a suspicious male pedestrian on FM 448. The individual was picked up by a vehicle.
Traffic enforcement on FM 1697/CR 124.
Sergeant located a suspicious person on FM 141. The individual was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.
September 6, 2026
Traffic enforcement conducted FM 141.
Deputy responded to an address on CR 327 in regard to criminal trespass. Criminal Trespass Notice served.
Traffic enforcement conducted E. US 290.
Deputy assisted stranded motorist with fuel on E. US 290.
Traffic enforcement on FM 141. Citations issued to sand trucks for Failure to Secure Load.
Deputy followed-up to check on the clean up of sand on FM 141.
Deputy initiated a traffic stop on E. US 290 for speeding 120 mph. The driver was arrested and booked into Lee County Jail.
