August 25, 2025

Deputy conducted traffic enforcement in the "S" curve in Dime Box. No violations observed.

Deputy completed a welfare check on a female pedestrian on SH 21 at the Burleson County line.

Deputy conducted traffic enforcement in the 400 block of N. Rockdale St.

Deputy responded to a residence on FM 3403 in reference to a juvenile matter.

 

August 26, 2025

Deputy responded to an animal complaint on CR 326.

Deputy conducted traffic enforcement in the "S" curve in Dime Box. One male subject was arrested after a traffic stop.

Caller reported a possible burglary at a business on FM 448. Sheriff responded and determined the damage was caused by an employee - no offense.

Deputy assisted a citizen with a vehicle unlock on CR 446.

Deputy responded to a single vehicle vs. deer crash on FM 141.

Deputy assisted Jail Staff with a violent inmate.

Complainant reported a fraud case to a Deputy. Report taken.

Deputy responded to a fire call on PR 8059.

 

August 27, 2025

Deputy responded to a single vehicle vs. deer crash at FM 1624/CR 326.

Complainant reported criminal mischief on CR 326. Deputy arrived and determined that a mailbox was damaged and a potential responsible party in being contacted.

Caller reported a verbal dispute at Westwood Lane. Deputy arrived and parties were separated.

Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.

Deputy made a traffic stop on FM 180 and issued a citation for speeding 94mph.

Deputies responded to a major crash in the 3700 block of N. US 77.

 

August 28, 2025

Deputy assisted a stranded motorist by pushing the stalled vehicle off the road at CR 226/224.

Deputies responded to Westwood Lane after receiving a report that an intoxicated female was attempting to break into an apartment. One female was located, arrested, and booked into the Lee County Jail.

 

August 29, 2025

Caller reported a male subject in an old blue Ford pickup hunting from the roadway on CR 117. Deputy arrived in the area, however the individual was gone upon arrival. Close patrol in effect.

Motorist reported an 18 wheeler failing to maintain a single lane on Hwy 290 East. Deputy located the vehicle and a traffic stop was made and citation issued.

Deputy made a traffic stop on SH 21 in Lincoln and issued a citation for speeding 94mph.

 

August 30, 2025

Chief Deputy investigated a case of illegal dumping on CR 103. Trash bags and boxes were located and removed for further investigation.

Deputies responded to a crisis intervention call on Westwood Lane.

Deputy responded to the 1100 block of CR 430, where trucks were blocking the county road, instead of entering their job site. Deputy issued a warning to all drivers.

Deputies assisted at the scene of a crash at SH 21/CR 426.

Deputies responded to a crisis intervention call on CR 205.

Deputy stopped a vehicle where two occupants were alleged to have been involved in a rolling disturbance. Report taken.

Deputies responded to a two vehicle crash on SH 21/CR 440.

Complainant reported three juveniles shining a light at motorists in the 4100 block of E. Austin St. Sergeant responded to patrol the area. Close patrol in effect.

 

August 31, 2025

Caller reported a suspicious black Nissan that stopped in a driveway on FM 112.

Deputy made a traffic stop on SH 21 for speeding. The Deputy determined there were two children not in required car seats. The driver insisted that was not a law in Alabama. The Deputy kindly reminded them that they were now in Texas. Citations issued and driver advised to obtain car seats.

Deputy responded to a crash in the 3800 block of N. US 77.

Deputy and Justice of the Peace Precinct 4 investigated an inquest on W. SH 21.

Deputies assisted Giddings Police with a criminal trespass suspect on Hempstead St.

Deputies responded to a major crash on SH 21.

Deputies responded to a disturbance on CR 139. One male suspect was located, arrested, and booked into the Lee County Jail.

Deputies completed a welfare check on Lazy Oaks Lane following a 911 call. All okay.

Deputies completed a welfare check on CR 415.

Deputy conducted a follow-up investigation stemming from a terroristic threat report on Deer Valley Dr.

Deputy issued a citation to a driver on W. US 290 for speeding 92mph.

EMS and Deputies were dispatched to the 8800 block of N. US 77 for a juvenile. Deputies took a report in regard to an assault. Active investigation.

Deputy assisted Giddings Police clear a house for a burglar alarm.

 

 

For this reporting period, Lee County Deputies initiated 193 traffic enforcement stops, made 77 security checks, and responded to 23 animal/loose livestock calls.
