August 17, 2026
Deputies patrolled school zones and bus routes.
Captain assisted GPD with traffic stop on a reported stolen vehicle on W. Austin St.
Deputy met with a citizen to take an information report.
Citizen reported truck leaking sand on FM 141 at the RR tracks.
Deputy responded to a requested welfare check of a pedestrian on E. US 290.
Deputy assisted a stranded motorist with traffic control on N. US 77.
Deputy spoke with a complainant in regard to an assault.
Deputies and Sheriff assisted LPD with a report of subjects attempting to pass a fraudulent check in Lexington. Two individuals were detained in the 5800 block of N. US 77 and arrested after an investigation.
Deputies patrolled school zones.
Deputy stopped and checked on a reported reckless driver on W. FM 696.
Deputies responded to FM 141 on a report of a semi driver that struck an overhead cable.
Deputies responded to an investigation on W. CR E. One male subject arrested and booked into Lee County Jail.
August 18, 2026
Deputies patrolled school zones and bus routes.
Motorist reported an injured deer off of FM 180. Deputy responded to dispatch the deer per Game Warden.
Complainant reported property damage on E. US 290 where a tractor driver damaged mailboxes.
Sergeant conducted a motorist assist on E. SH 21.
Deputy transported an individual to an out-of-county facility for treatment.
Motorist reported roadway debris on FM 448. Deputy responded to clear the roadway.
Communications received report of structure fire on CR E. Sheriff responded to investigate. Determined to be a burn pile that got out of control, not a structure fire.
Deputies worked school zones.
Sheriff responded to a verbal domestic disturbance on CR E.
Traffic enforcement conducted on SH 21.
Sergeant conducted 68-A vehicle inspections.
Caller reported suspicious activity at FM 1697/CR 127 where a loud boom was heard. Deputy responded but was unable to locate anything.
Deputy assisted GPD with a traffic stop and subsequent vehicle search on W. Austin St.
Deputy assisted a stranded motorist on SH 21.
August 19, 2026
Deputy patrolled school bus routes on N. US 77. Citation issued to violator for Failing to Yield for School Bus Loading.
Deputies worked school zones.
Deputy was requested for a vehicle unlock on 5th St.
CID Captain and Lieutenant conducted follow-up investigation.
Deputies assisted at the scene of a two vehicle crash at FM 1624.
Deputies assisted with a funeral escort.
Deputies patrolled school zones, issued citations and followed bus routes.
Deputies responded to a reported disturbance at a residence on CR 306.
Deputy spoke with a complainant in regard to harassment.
Deputy completed a warrant service at the Lee County Jail on an individual that surrendered on a local warrant.
Deputy checked on a suspicious vehicle parked in the 1900 block of W. SH 21.
Caller reported a suspicious vehicle parked off of CR 137. Deputy located the individual and determined that everything was okay.
Traffic enforcement conducted on W. US 290.
August 20, 2026
Deputies patrolled school zones and bus routes. Citation issued to violator for Failing to Yield for School Bus Loading.
Deputy completed a warrant service at court on an individual with outstanding warrants.
Caller reported suspicious activity on CR 309 where two male subjects in a black Toyota Crew Cab stopped at a property to ask residents if they needed dirt. Deputy spoke with the complainant and and patrolled the area.
Deputy conducted a requested welfare check of a resident on CR 120.
Deputy conducted a requested welfare check of a resident on CR 407.
Caller requested a welfare check of a motorist on CR 132. The motorist was determined to be in a neighboring county.
Deputy conducted security checks on CR 309 in regard to a previous report of suspicious vehicle.
Deputy spoke with a complainant in regard to a fraud.
Deputy responded to FM 1624/US 77 in regard to a motorist assist.
Deputies worked school zones and issued citations to violators for speeding.
Deputy initiated a traffic stop on FM 3403. Violator cited for speeding 94/70 mph zone.
Deputy initiated a traffic stop on E. US 290/FM 180. Probable cause search conducted, driver cited and released.
Deputy responded to a 911 hang-up call on CR 123.
Deputy conducted a requested welfare check on a pedestrian on SH 21. Courtesy transport provided.
Deputy located and stopped a reported reckless driver on N. US 77.
Deputy checked on an abandoned vehicle at SH 21/CR 453.
Deputy checked on a motorist assist at SH 21/CR 114.
Deputy initiated a traffic stop at E. US 290/CR 139. Violator issued a citation for 101/75 mph zone.
Deputy initiated a traffic stop at E. US 290/County Line. Violator issued a citation for 95/75 mph zone.
August 21, 2026
Deputies patrolled school zones and bus routes.
Sheriff and Deputies assisted with a funeral escort.
Deputy initiated a traffic stop on E. Austin St. A probable cause search was conducted and the driver was arrested and booked-in to the Lee County Jail.
Deputy assisted with a vehicle unlock on E. Austin St.
Deputy met with a citizen in reference to fraud involving a scam caller.
Lieutenant took a report for a sexual assault.
Deputy conducted a security check and criminal trespass on S. US 77.
Male subject surrendered himself at the Lee County Jail on Court Commit.
Sergeant conducted a traffic stop in the LISD school zone. The driver was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.
Deputy removed roadway debris on N. US 77/CR 412.
Deputy responded to vehicle fire on FM 180.
Deputy conducted security checks on W. FM 696.
Complainant reported a reckless driver on CR 415. Caller reported a race car with numbers on the side speeding on the county road. Deputy patrolled the area, unable to locate.
Traffic enforcement conducted on SH 21.
Traffic enforcement conducted US 290.
Deputy initiated a traffic stop on E. US 290/Fayette County line. One arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Caller reported suspicious persons walking on CR 127. Deputy located two females and provided a courtesy ride.
Augst 22, 2026
Traffic enforcement conducted on US 290.
Deputy met with complainant in regard to fraud.
Deputies assisted with funeral escort.
Traffic enforcement conducted on SH 21.
Deputy responded to Burn Ban violation on SH 21. Citation issued.
A thoughtful caller, called-in to advise the dispatcher that he was going to BBQ.
Traffic enforcement conducted on FM 141, FM 1697, CR 124.
Deputy initiated a traffic stop on N. Main St. The driver failed to yield and attempted to evade arrest onto N. US 77 at speeds in excess of 120 mph. The pursuit ended south of FM 1624 and one female was arrested and booked into Lee County Jail.
Deputies responded to a reported disturbance on Hale St.
Agust 23, 2026
Citizen reported sand on FM 141 from truck traffic.
Sergeant conducted sex offender registry.
Deputies were notified of a crisis intervention call on FM 1624.
Deputy met with a complainant on Blaha Ave. regarding harassment.
Traffic enforcement conducted on N. US 77.
Traffic enforcement conducted on SH 21.
Deputy met with complainant on Well St. in regard to criminal trespass.
Deputies responded to a requested welfare check at CR 119/FM 141.
Deputy responded to a minor one vehicle collision on CR 205.
Deputy removed animal carcass from roadway on N. US 77.
Deputy met with a complainant in regard to harassment.
Motorist reported rail road crossing arms malfunctioning on CR 217. Dispatch notified UPRR.
