August 11, 2025
Deputy responded to an animal complaint on CR 118. Deputy found dogs that had access to food, water, and shelter.
Complainant reported two juveniles operating heavy machinery on Trailside Dr. Deputy responded and located a construction zone, but was unable to locate any juveniles in the area.
Deputy conducted a follow-up investigation on PR 4041 in regard to a structure fire.
Complainant reported loud music on CR 306. Deputy responded to the area and no violation was detected.
Deputies responded to a major crash on FM 112 involving a one-vehicle rollover collision.
Deputy conducted a requested welfare check in the 3600 block of Hwy 77 N.
Deputy responded to a disturbance on Giddings St. The individual causing problems had left prior to the Deputy's arrival.
August 12, 2025
Deputy responded to Deer Valley Dr. for a reported terroristic threat.
Deputy conducted a motorist assist on CR 226.
Sergeant responded to assist LCEMS with a medical call on CR 405.
August 13, 2025
Deputy checked on an abandoned vehicle on CR 139. Red-tagged.
Deputy responded to a crisis intervention/welfare check on CR 203.
Complainant reported trespassers on private property off of CR 413. Sergeant responded to investigate.
Deputy provided water to a stranded motorist on Hwy 77 N.
Sheriff conducted school safety walk-thru at Dime Box ISD.
Sergeant and Sheriff responded to an 18 wheeler crash on Hwy 77 north of SH 21.
Motorist reported a one vehicle crash on Hwy 290 East. Deputies responded to assist at the scene of the fatality crash.
Deputies and Constable Pct. 2 responded to another crash at Hwy 290/FM 180.
Deputy met with a complainant in regard to an identity theft report.
Deputy responded to a vehicle vs. deer crash on Hwy 290 East.
August 14, 2025
Motorist reported bicycle riders on FM 2440 that were barely visible. Deputy checked the area, unable to locate.
Deputy conducted a welfare check on Hwy 77 North.
Deputy conducted a welfare check on CR 127.
Sergeant conducted 68-A inspections at the sheriff's office.
Complainant reported criminal mischief to a sign on Westwood Lane. Deputy responded to investigate and make report.
Caller reported shots fired on a neighboring property on FM 2440. Deputy responded and confirmed that the neighbors were lawfully shooting on their property.
Deputy assisted with traffic control on FM 448 for a cattle hauler blocking the road.
Deputies responded to a disturbance on CR 123. Verbal only, parties separated.
Deputy checked on a minor crash on FM 696 involving a vehicle vs. deer.
August 15, 2025
Motorist reported a male subject walking in the roadway at FM 696/CR 337. Deputy checked the area, unable to locate.
Citizen reported illegal dumping on CR 309. Deputy reported that beer bottles were dumped along the road. Close patrol in effect.
Deputies responded to a reported missing person on CR 127. The female subject was located.
Complainant reported a suspicious person in a black truck on CR 208. Pct. 2 Constable and Deputies located the vehicle and identified the individual. Criminal Trespass Notice served.
Complainant reported a possible theft in the 2100 block of CR 114. Deputies determined an open door was likely caused by the storm.
Caller requested traffic enforcement on CR 114 for school traffic and speeding. Close patrol in effect.
Several motorists reported loose livestock on W. SH 21. Deputy responded and ran the livestock back into the pasture via the convenient hole in the fence. Deputy patched the fence.
Deputy assisted TP&W Game Warden on a report of trespassing at CR 117/129.
August 16, 2025
Sergeant spoke with a caller in regard to a suspicious text message they had received. No report.
Deputies assisted with a funeral escort in Giddings.
Caller reported clothes and other miscellaneous items on CR 400. Deputy responded and removed loose items from the roadway. Active investigation to determine if this is illegal dumping offense.
Deputy spoke with an individual in regard to a civil matter.
Deputy assisted a citizen with a courtesy vehicle unlock on N. Ellis St.
Deputies responded to a crisis intervention call on E. SH 21.
Deputy met with a complainant in the lobby in regard to trucks on FM 141.
Sergeant met with a complainant at Giddings PD in regard to an assault that was alleged to have occurred in the County. Report taken.
Deputy responded to a one-vehicle crash in the 2900 block of W. FM 696.
Deputy assisted GPD with a disturbance in the 2000 block of E. Austin St.
August 17, 2025
Deputies assisted with traffic control on SH 21 for Lincoln VFD drive-thru fundraiser.
Deputy and GPD Officer conducted warrant service on a male subject for local Assault Family Violence case. One male arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Deputies responded to a disturbance on CR 123. Parties separated.
Deputy responded to a vehicle fire along with Blue VFD on W. FM 696.
Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance in the 7700 block of FM 141. Parties separated prior to Deputy arrival. Assault report taken.
Caller requested assistance with their vehicle locked with their dog inside. Deputy responded to assist.
Deputy met with a complainant in reference to a fraud report on N. Main St.
For this reporting period, Lee County Deputies initiated 86 traffic enforcement stops, made 31 security checks, and responded to 23 animal/loose livestock calls.
