April 7, 2025
Deputy met with a complainant to investigate a theft of services report.
Deputies responded to a residence on Hwy 77 North for a disturbance. Parties were separated.
Sergeant conducted 68-A inspection.
Deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash on SH 21.
Deputy spoke with a complainant in reference to harassment.
Deputy assisted a motorist with a vehicle unlock on Hale Street.
April 8, 2025
Deputy met with a complainant to investigate fraud report.
April 9, 2025
CID Sergeant met with a complainant in regard to an assault. Information taken and warrant obtained for the arrest of the suspect.
CID Sergeant met with a complainant in regard to a sexual assault. Information taken for report.
Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.
Deputies assisted SO Fayette County with a crisis intervention call on Hwy 290 just inside Fayette County.
Sheriff and Deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash on SH 21 in Old Dime Box.
Deputy spoke with a reporting party in regard to a missing horse on FM 180. Information taken for report.
April 10, 2025
Deputy conducted a warrant service at the LCSO lobby.
While conducting school bus route patrol, Deputy observed a violator fail to yield to a school bus. The Deputy activated his red/blue lights and siren, but the violator continued to drive at 70 miles per hour. The vehicle was stopped via tire deflation device by Giddings Police and the driver was detained. The driver was determined to be from another country. The driver was issued citations and released at the sheriff's office.
Deputy met with a complainant in regard to a harassment report. Information taken.
Deputy initiated a traffic stop on Hwy 77 South for a violation. A consent to search resulted in the discovery of cocaine, and the subject was transported and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Captain and CID Sergeant conducted a warrant arrest at a residence on CR 430. Male subject was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail for Online Solicitation of a Minor.
Deputy assisted a stranded motorist at Hwy 290/FM 180.
April 11, 2025
Sergeant conducted 68-A inspections.
Deputies responded to a one-vehicle crash in the 4200 block of Hwy 77 North.
Deputy conducted a requested welfare check on CR 107.
Deputies conducted felony warrant service at a residence on CR 326. The male suspect was taken into custody for Aggravated Kidnapping and Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon.
Deputy attempted to stop a speeding motorcycle on FM 696 West for speeding in excess of 100 miles per hour. A pursuit ensued into Bastrop County before the suspect was taken into custody. The suspect was booked into Lee County Jail on out-of-county warrants and Evading Arrest.
Sergeant conducted a requested welfare check at a residence on SH 21.
April 12, 2025
Deputy conducted warrant service at LCSO lobby.
Deputies responded to a disturbance in Old Dime Box. One male suspect was arrested for Assault and Disorderly Conducted and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Deputy met with a complainant to gather information for a fraud report.
Deputies assisted with a funeral escort.
Deputy assisted with a civil standby.
Deputies handled a juvenile matter on FM 141/Bowers Street. The juvenile was released to parents.
April 13, 2025
Deputy assisted SO Washington County on a theft report.
Deputies assisted Giddings PD with a pursuit on Austin Street.
Deputies assisted Giddings PD with a disturbance call on South Leon Street.
Deputies assisted with a funeral escort.
Deputies responded to a disturbance on CR 103.
Deputy took a report of a terroristic threat.
Deputies responded to a crisis intervention call on CR 324.
Deputy initiated a traffic stop at Nails Creek Park. A probable cause search was conducted and the driver was transported to Lee County Jail for a local warrant.
Deputy initiated a traffic stop on Hwy 77 in Lexington after midnight. A probable cause search resulted in the recovery of evidence and one male was arrested for Possession of Marihuana and booked into the Lee County Jail.
Deputies initiated 119 traffic enforcement stops, made 40 security checks, and responded to 20 animal/loose livestock calls.
