April 6, 2026
Deputy met with a citizen and conducted a security check on CR 329.
Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance on CR 137. One arrested and booked into Jail.
Deputies patrolled morning bus routes in Lexington.
Deputy completed a requested welfare check on a juvenile.
Deputies assisted with a crisis intervention.
Deputy checked on a reported suspicious vehicle parked at Rabb's Creek bridge on CR 208.

Traffic enforcement conducted on FM 112 by citizen request for speeding violations.
Security checks made across the County.
April 8, 2026
Sergeant investigated an assault on jail staff in the Lee County Jail.
Deputy responded to assist DPS trooper with a pursuit on US 290-E.
Caller reported their dachshund missing from FM 696. It is black and brown.
Deputy took a report of harassment.
Deputy took a report of terroristic threats.
Deputy took a report of a reckless driver on FM 112.
Deputy responded to a suspicious activity report on CR 337. The complainant reported their gate was pushed open. Security checks in effect.
Deputy responded to check on a report of animal cruelty on FM 696.
Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on CR 205.

Deputy took a motorist report of vehicle damage caused by an animal on TX-21.
Deputy initiated a traffic stop on FM 141. The driver was arrested and booked into Jail.
Deputy handled a crisis intervention call on CR 345.

Deputy initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for running the red light at Main/Austin St.
Deputy took a harassment report.
Deputy issued a citation to a motorist on TX-21 for 98/70 mph zone.
Deputy responded to a suspicious person call on PR 7703.
Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on FM 180.
Deputy assisted at the scene of a minor crash on TX-21.
Deputy red-tagged an abandoned vehicle on US-77 S.

Deputy assisted Trooper with a traffic stop on US-290.
Sergeant spoke with a complainant about Harassment.
Deputy responded to CR 217 for a noise complaint.
April 12, 2026
Sergeants and Deputy responded to a disturbance on 6th Street in Lexington.
Sergeant and Deputy assisted DPS with an accident on North Rockdale in Lexington.
Deputies were dispatched to FM 141 for a juvenile problem.
Sergeant and Deputy assisted Giddings PD with debris in the roadway on North Main.
Captain checked out on North Orange with subjects doing donuts in the parking lot.
Deputy checked out with stranded motorists on TX-21 at FM 3403.
Deputy was dispatched to West Austin Street for a welfare concern.
For this reporting period, Lee County Deputies initiated 101 traffic enforcement stops, made 122 security checks, and responded to 28 animal/loose livestock calls.
The 3rd annual Junior Deputy Academy will take place this Saturday, April 18th at the Law Enforcement Center. The graduation will be held at 4:30pm at the Lee County Courthouse.
