April 28, 2025
Caller reported someone passed out in a vehicle on the side of the road at SH 21/CR 327. Deputy conducted a welfare check and instructed the driver to relocate to a safer location.
Sergeant met with a complainant in regard to fraudulent use of a social security number. Information taken.
Sergeant met with a complainant in regard to phone harassment. Information taken.
Deputies responded to Wheatley St. in Lexington in regard to a crisis intervention. One juvenile was transported to an out-of-county facility for treatment.
Deputies responded to a residence on CR 307 to assist LCEMS.
Dispatch received report of reckless driver on SH 21 from SO Bastrop County. Deputy located the driver and issued multiple citations.
Dispatch received request for welfare check from PD Austin. Witness reported a small child being aggressively placed into a vehicle without proper child seat or seat belt. Deputy checked the local address and determined that the vehicle in question had been sold. Updated information provided to APD.
April 29, 2025
Deputy spoke with a complainant in regard to a civil matter.
Deputy conducted a requested welfare check on a male subject on CR 107.
Deputy met with a complainant on CR 213 that located shell casings on the roadway. Information was passed on to the Game Warden.
Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.
Deputy and Trooper responded to an address on Clark Lane in regard to shots fired. It was determined that the gunfire was due to the killing of a snake. No offense.
Deputy completed warrant service at the LCSO lobby on a male subject that surrendered himself on his local warrant.

April 30, 2025
Caller reported a suspicious vehicle parked in their driveway on CR 233. Deputy made contact and identified the female. No offense.
Deputy responded to Lexington ISD to assist school administration with a juvenile matter.
Deputy conducted traffic control for an 18 wheeler blocking traffic on Highway 77 North.
Deputy responded to Clark Lane to investigate a report of criminal mischief where a mailbox was damaged.
Complainant met with a Deputy in regard to a theft of tools at Lexington. Report taken.
Complainant at a store in Lexington reported a theft of ice. Deputy responded and the individual had returned to pay for the ice. Male subject was issued at Criminal Trespass Notice at the request of the store.
Deputy initiated a traffic stop on Highway 290 East at the Fayette County line. Lee County Precinct 2 Constable and K9 arrived to assist. One female was arrested and secured in the Lee County Jail for Possession of Controlled Substance.
Deputies were dispatched out to CR 309 in regard to a dog attacking a neighbor's dog. Deputies met with the parties involved and a citation was issued.
May 1, 2025
Deputies responded to a major two-vehicle crash at Highway 290 West/Westwood Lane along with Giddings VFD and LCEMS.
Deputy initiated a traffic stop in the 2300 block of Highway 290 West. The driver was issued a citation for Passing a School Bus.
Deputy met with a complainant on CR 101. The Deputy followed-up by issuing a Criminal Trespass Notice.
Deputies assisted with a horse that strayed off from the Lexington arena.
Caller requested traffic control in the 700 block of FM 141 for speeding enforcement on tankers.
May 2, 2025
Caller requested a Deputy in the 10000 block of Highway 77 North for an unknown male subject knocking on the door. Sergeant responded and determined that the male subject was attempting to make notification for hitting a mailbox while trying to avoid deer in the roadway.
Deputies assisted with a funeral escort in Lexington.
Deputies responded to a reported disturbance at a property on Turner Lane. Deputies determined that the matter was verbal only and the parties were separated.
Deputy completed a felony warrant service at the LCSO lobby. One male subject was secured in the Lee County Jail for Unlawful Possession of Firearm by Felon.
Complainant contacted 911 to report a disturbance at a residence on CR 105. Dispatch made contact with the reporting party and gathered that a boyfriend had a gun and knife and threatened violence. Deputies located the suspect who was arrested and secured in the Lee County Jail for Assault Family Violence.
Deputies responded to a one-vehicle rollover crash at Highway 77/SH 21. Lincoln VFD and LCEMS responded to the scene as well.
Deputies patrolled flooded roads FM 141, CR 430 after the heavy rainfall. Precinct 4 Commissioner was notified of the road conditions.
Deputies responded to a reported disturbance in the 1400 block of CR 205. Deputies determined the matter was verbal only and the parties were separated to keep the peace.
May 3, 2025
Deputies on patrol located a vehicle stalled on Highway 77 North. Deputies conducted traffic control and were able to push the vehicle off the roadway.
Deputies responded to a residence on CR 226 to assist LCEMS.
Sergeant conducted a 68-A inspection at the Sheriff's Office.
Deputy responded to Giddings Street to assist Lexington PD with a juvenile matter.
Deputy responded to a residence on CR 442 to remove a large snake.
Deputy responded to CR 220 to perform a vehicle unlock for a citizen.
Deputy assisted a stranded motorist with traffic control on SH 21 until a wrecker arrived.
Deputy on patrol checked out on a suspicious vehicle parked on CR 323. Occupants were identified and released.
Deputies assisted Giddings PD with a disturbance in the 100 block of W. Austin St.
Complainant reported a suspicious person at storage units on FM 696 West. Deputy located the male subject and determined that he had fallen asleep. No offense.
Deputy performed a vehicle unlock at the Lexington Square.
Complainant reported a suspicious vehicle parked on N. Rockdale St. with male subjects walking away from it after 3:00am. Deputy patrolled the area.
Deputy responded to investigate a crash involving a vehicle vs. hogs on FM 112.
Deputy initiated a traffic stop on the previously reported suspicious vehicle in the 800 block of Rockdale St. Citations issued.
May 4, 2025
Complainant met with a Deputy at the LCSO in regard to a theft of a camper. Report taken.
Deputy responded to a minor crash on FM 2440.
Deputy assisted a stranded motorist at Highway 77/SH 21. Deputy provided a courtesy ride for fuel and return.
Caller reported a domestic disturbance at a residence on CR 127. Deputies arrived and detained a male suspect. The suspect was arrested and secured in the Lee County Jail for Possession of Controlled Substance.
Deputy met with a complainant at the Sheriff's Office in regard to an assault. Report taken with further action pending.
Deputies were summoned to an address in the 5600 block of Highway 290 East for a young child that was found walking in the trailer park. The child was checked by LCEMS and the parent was identified. After further investigation the parent was arrested and transported to the Lee County Jail.
Deputy responded to gunfire in the 200 block of Louis Lane. Deputy made contact with the responsible party.
Sergeant involved in a minor one vehicle fleet crash vs. deer on FM 141.
Deputies initiated 103 traffic enforcement stops, made 54 security checks, and responded to 13 animal/loose livestock calls.
