April 27, 2026

Lieutenant conducted a follow-investigation.

Complainant made an Estray livestock report from CR 226.

Deputy assisted at minor crash on US 77 North.

Deputy initiated a traffic stop on Hester Street. One arrested and booked on a warrant.

Deputies completed requested welfare checks on US 77 North and CR 430.

Deputy issued speeding citations to violators in Lexington ISD school zone.

Deputy handled a crisis intervention call on CR 123.

Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.

A caller reporting a male subject at the railroad tracks with a gun off of FM 448. All units responded to check the area. No male subject was located.

Deputy assisted with traffic control for a disabled 18-wheeler on US 77/CR 114.

Deputy completed warrant service on a female subject that surrendered at Lee County Jail.

 

April 28, 2026

Deputy responded to the 5600 block of E. Austin St. to take a report of an alleged assault that occurred days ago.

Deputy responded to an address on FM 448 to assist with snake removal.

Deputy initiated a traffic stop on TX 21. One arrested and booked.

Deputy took a report of harassment from a complainant in Lexington.

 

April 29, 2026

Deputy conducted traffic enforcement on FM 141 in Dime Box. Citizens have expressed concern of speeding and passing in "no passing" zones.

Deputies conducted traffic enforcement in the 10400 block of US 77 after report of vehicles passing the school bus when loading/unloading.

Deputy patrolled DBISD school bus patrol on FM 141.

Deputy tagged an abandoned vehicle in the 8000 block of US 77.

Deputy assisted a citizen with a vehicle unlock in Giddings.

Deputy assisted with traffic control for a mobile home transport on US 77.

Deputy responded to DBISD to investigate a report of vandalism.

Deputy completed a requested welfare check on CR 114.

Deputies assisted with an escort in Lexington.

Deputy initiated a traffic stop on TX 21. One arrested and booked.

Deputy completed a warrant service on TX 21 East. One booked into Lee County Jail.

Deputy completed a warrant service on FM 141. One booked.

Deputy completed a warrant service on FM 2239. One booked.

Deputy assisted at the scene of a minor crash on US 77/CR 410.

 

April 30, 2026

Deputy conducted traffic enforcement at school bus stops on US 77 North.

Deputy conducted traffic enforcement at school bus stops on TX 21 and FM 3403.

Deputy conducted traffic enforcement in LISD school zone.

Sergeant assisted another agency with a crisis intervention call.

Deputies assisted with funeral escort.

Deputy assisted Constable Pct. 2 with a civil process on Sunrise Ave.

Deputy met with a complainant to investigate a reported stolen firearm.

Deputy met with a complainant in regard to requested security checks.

Deputy took a report of an animal bite on CR B.

All units responded to Lexington ISD for a reported threat to the school. No threat was located and all students and staff were safe. The matter is under further investigation by LPD and state partners.

Caller reported noise violation on Gary St. All units were unavailable.

Deputy checked on suspicious persons at a convenience store after hours.

 

May 1, 2026

Deputy assisted at scene of minor crash on FM 696.

Deputy responded to a report of animal cruelty on Willow Creek.

Deputy assisted with traffic control for a tree down on Blaha Ave. Pct. 4 Commissioner removed the tree.

Deputy attempted to locate a yellow box truck on East US 290 that reportedly fled the scene of an accident in Bastrop County. Unable to locate.

Sheriff and Deputies provided close patrols of downtown Lexington for Homecoming festivities.

Sergeant conducted sex offender registry requirement checks.

Deputies assisted at scene of a minor crash on US 290 East.

Deputy completed a welfare check on FM 180.

Deputy completed a welfare check on N. Rockdale St.

 

May 2, 2026

Deputy assisted a citizen with a vehicle unlock in Giddings.

Sergeant and Deputies assisted with traffic control for the Lexington Homecoming Parade.

Sergeant and Deputies responded to a report of an assault on CR 206. Report taken.

Deputy assisted with traffic control for Fire on US 77 South.

Caller reported property damage to her neighbor's fence on CR 405. Sergeant and Deputy responded.

Deputy responded to a report of gun fire on CR 113. Subjects were advised to move to a safer location away from residences.

Deputy completed a welfare check on CR 103.

Sergent initiated a traffic stop on US 290 East at FM 180. One arrested and booked.

Deputy initiated a traffic stop on TX 21. One arrested and booked.

Sergeant and Deputy attempted to locate a suspicious vehicle on FM 1624. Unable to locate.

Complainant reported criminal mischief at his residence on Giddings Street. Sergeant and Constable Pct. 3 assisted Lexington PD with the call.

 

May 3, 2026

Deputy responded to a minor accident on FM 141 at CR 117.

Deputy tagged an abandoned vehicle on FM 141.

Sergeant completed a welfare check on FM 141.

Deputy spoke with a caller on Deerwood Drive about an animal complaint.

Deputy took information from a complainant on CR 405 about animal cruelty.

Deputy took a report of an assault.

Sergeant conducted 68-A inspections at the Sheriff's Office.

Deputies responded to CR 425 for a suspicious vehicle.

Sergeant and Deputy were dispatched to Stockade Ranch Rd for a verbal disturbance.

 

For this reporting period, Lee County Deputies initiated 104 traffic enforcement stops, made 96 security checks, and responded to 16 animal/loose livestock calls.
